I swung by this Michael's looking for something specific and ended up just kind of walking around the store to see if there's anything else I could find. I will say that within the maybe 20 minutes that I was in the store about 3 to 4 different associates either smiled at me or asked if I needed help with anything which I love. I think that service especially customer service is something that's undervalued at times and often overlooked at many establishments in South Florida. I haven't been to Michael's in years, in fact I hadn't even realized they'd changed from their old location and apparently it's been years since doing so. The store was huge and it literally is a crafter's delight! There are so many items for DIY projects and so much more. You can even buy a Christmas tree here! They have custom framing available and they also offer different classes throughout the year such as painting, crochet, arts and crafts and knitting. They also have a Kids Club with events and other fun things for them to do. The staff was nice enough but seemed a bit overwhelmed, maybe due to the season and it being pretty busy. A lot of shelves were bare and it seemed a bit disorganized. I only came in for one item so didn't get much of a chance to look around but I'll definitely be back! read more

Michaels is amazing! I've been there many times. The store is clean and the selection of craft supplies and decorations are fantastic. Michael's has coupons, sales, and teacher discounts. The employees are helpful and have gone out of their way to assist customers. I would recommend Michael's anytime you're looking for crafts, decor, or hobby supplies. read more

I went to the store for a specific item of which was out of stock but there was one I could use, I browsed the store and some some items marked $2 but not all items on the display. Very confusing so when i checked out it was more than anticipated. Being in a wheelchair, i wen to the counter with the handicapped sign. no on came to help and the counter was full of blue tshirts. i did get help at another cashier but he was rude after he scanned my items said, "now scan your card." I could not reach the scanner. This store is on my do not go to any more list. read more

A decent enough Michaels. The store is nice and clean and laid out nicely. I loved the fact that they had some xmas tree ornaments that were the exact same ones as what Macys are currently offering for half their prices. read more

Easily a step above and beyond from their old location right down the road. Everything about this new Michaels location is wonderful and you can really tell that they updated the location and the products that they carry here. Entering and exiting is now one exit and upon going in, it is very brightly lit and so clean that you would think they have people just walking around nonstop, cleaning every little thing you can think of. The staff is friendly and greet me every time that I walk in so that is always something I look forward to because it makes me feel welcomed. The store is stocked with basically anything you can think of for any art project or baking project you are doing. There are even things that I didn't know existed for baking (which is what I love to do) that have helped me out so much in the long run! The prices are great and they easily have something for everyone here! I have never known there could be that many types of glitters in the world until I started coming to this location, I didn't know that glitter could be thicker or more fine and the types of art projects you use them on! Prices are great and the staff is always friendly and eager to help you on your quest for the product or products you need. I am excited for my next visit here! read more

I am amazed at how much nicer this location is compared to their older one that was a little down the street. Overall everything about this location is so much better in terms of parking and the interior of the location as well. Everything inside is much more spaced out and you avn definitely tell they now have room for more items. They still are a little pricey for some of the stuff they sell but when you can't find some of these things elsewhere, you basically have to spend a bit more. The quality of the products I have bought here are always very good and if they weren't I was able to return them no problem. The location is very nicely lit and all the isles are labeled perfectly and it is very easy to find everything I've needed to when I run here because of some last minute crafts or baking I have done and needed items from here. The staff is also wonderful and I'm excited for my next trip here! read more

This is the most beautiful and most organized Michael's I have ever visited. This new location is super clean. I love the crafting center by the front. Need to check out their calendar for craft events. Love their books, toys and holiday sections. I can't get over how organized everything is. Seriously though. That makes my OCD happy. Ha. I had a poor experience the first time I had something framed. The Women Ana who normally helps me wasn't there I decided to try one last time and was I glad I did. Ana helped me select the perfect frame and mat and was able to return it to me framed in no time at all. It was ready to hang and looks beautiful. I usually don't do negative reviews & I love michael's and come frequently for all my craft & baking needs. Today I decided to come in and have my toddler pick out some christmas decor . I scanned some items for their price and realized it was cheaper online. Before paying for pickup I asked an employee if I can have my items and pay for them online and he said absolutely to just let an associate know. When I went to the cash register, I had told Maria (an employee) that I paid for these items for pick up. She grabbed my cart and pulled it aside and told me to wait an hour. I thought it didn't make sense since I shopped for all my items and she just needed to scan them. I received an email almost two hours after I shopped for my items that they were ready. Once I arrived for pick up, they had lost one of the items I purchased. Maria told me to go look for a replacement myself. Very disappointing and COMPLETELY waste of time. read more

Nice store Nice store went looking for jade beads because my favorite jade Bracelet was lost on one of my walks . I only had it two days and spent a lot of money on it . This Micheals store did not have jade beads or real gold beads. They did have some interesting beads, I bought a few to make something . I will have to go back to my jeweler and buy another Bracelet. I hope who ever found it is enjoying it as much as I did . Micheals is a craft store for people who are crafty . They have an interesting assortment of fake flowers . Personally I prefer fresh flowers and always treat myself to flowers since hubby lacks the interest . I did buy him some fake ones for his bedroom . At this store you can get your pictures framed too. I love the coupons as well . Love getting discounts . Staff is friendly and helpful . Parking is ample . I like this store , check it out . New location, located in the plaza where there is youfit, ross, tj max. Big and beautiful and clean. Michael's is great for all your crafty ideas also great for part ideas as well. They always have good deals or atleast what you are looking for, might have a discount already. There is one issue and for some reason they do not carry printer paper, or like resume fancy paper which I think they should. They only carry card stock paper which is Thick paper. They already have so much inventory on so many items people probably don't use. Atleast printer paper Or office fancy papers would be a good option to have read more

I'm not sure how they train their "mangers" but for a manger to be rude and talk to a customer like they don't know what they are doing is disgusting. I had a simple return and pickup. Not so simple turns out. The Lady (Muri) not sure how to spell her name made it seem like I didn't know how to use a chip reader but her way of handling the machine acting up was inappropriate. Ever since they put in the self checkout machines it's like they don't want to work or interact with customers. I brought it to the attention of the main manger Jose who informed me that she was a department manager and that just sounds like they give promotions to just anyone who stays at a job long enough since that's all they can do. Sucks that the new location is going down in customer service. I preferred the old small store with good employees. read more

I seldom leave bad reviews but I am incredibly disappointed with how this particular store handled packages I sent to their ups access point. Me and my boyfriend sent 5 packages to this Michael's because they have an ups access point in house. We are moving to Pembroke Pines from NY so all of our clothes and necessities were in these packages. However, the so called "manager" or whatever person working at the store refused to take our packages, claiming they were "big". The packages weren't that big, they were simply boxes full of clothes, it's not like we sent a fucking tv. Anyway, this inconsiderate decision made by the person working there has created so much hell for my boyfriend and I and retrieving these packages, it has been a nightmare. Michael's didn't even bother giving us a call to explain the situation or even give us their reasoning for refusal, which is so unprofessional. Maybe this could have been avoided if there was any type of communication at all. We paid $260 to send these down to the access point all for us to have gone days now without any of our necessities. This person who refused there packages so carelessly clearly has 0 consideration for the customer, it's honestly sad. I would leave less than one star if I could. Do not utilize this Michaels for ups drop off or pick ups, I wouldn't want this happening to anyone else read more
