I buy all my art supply here. My favorite hobby is to paint and create original pieces. The manager of the framing department is a sweet angel and took such good care of me!!! I believe her name is Cassie. My canvas looks so good now, which is one of my Christmas gifts that I'm going to give to my love one. Thank you for my awesome frame!! I also got it at an awesome price as they were giving discounts 2 weeks ago when I ordered it.

When my daughter and I drove past where I thought the Michaels was I couldn't find it and then I saw it on the other side of the street. That was very confusing. "Hey, I thought it was on the other side," I said to my daughter. When I went back another day I was sure that it was a different location so I asked one of the clerks and sure enough they had moved to the new location. I can't say for sure but the store does look bigger and of course everything was super organized and nice n clean looking, one of the nicest Michaels I have ever been in. The merchandise was the same, it just looked better. The employees seem to be happy--I'm sure it is enjoyable to work in a brand new store . One thing I like about this Michaels is that there's a Joanns and a Hobby Lobby nearby so you can hit the "Big Three" all in one trip to use your coupons. Yay!

Friday before Christmas, customers lined up like Disneyland, only TWO of six registers operating. More time in line than shopping in the store

I'm terrible with the app and coupons and an employee always helps me to make sure I get the savings. Thanks, Michael's employees!

The entire team in the custom framing department are great, especially the manager who had my order done the very next day!

We signed up for the Blankets & Besties workshop, where you make a chunky blanket. You get to choose your color from a list and note it when you register on their website. It was $85 before tax and came with 5 skeins of yarn, with the option to add more (I think for an additional $15). I also put in the notes on my registration the names of my friends so that we could sit together. The workshop was at 6pm on a Friday and lasted about two hours. There was my group of three and three others, plus the owner/instructor Lauren. Her instructions were easy to follow, and she would jump in if we needed help. I made a few errors, and she was able to fix them for me. I ended up making my loops too loose on the outside and too tight on the inside, so my blanket came out a bit small. But I think it was decent for my first attempt. It's so soft. I keep it on my couch to use as a lap blanket. We all had a great time and would definitely come back to try other workshops. My coworker had tried one of the resin workshops and really liked it too.

The leader just said instructions quickly and with everyone doing so many different projects at same time, she couldn't go step by step to show anything or show different techniques. I was told that the resin would fall off the sides of the wood but I could put resin if I wanted. Well, it didn't fall off the side and looks bad. We luckily had a nice couple across from us with experience using resin and helped us along the way. I also googled things along the way (like how much resin is too thick cause that was never mentioned). For the price I paid I should not be googling information or asking other customers.

This wasn't just us, several people in our class had the same issue, and they had to call the owner to sort everything out before we could start. They also mentioned that we could bring our own drinks, which sounded great, but I wouldn't recommend it for the wheel-throwing class. We didn't open our wine as no cups were provided but there was also no time during the class to drink it. That said, our instructor, Callum, was amazing! Truly hands-on, patient, and made sure everyone left with a piece they were proud of, whether they chose to keep it or not. One thing to note: I wouldn't recommend this specific class for out-of-towners. If you want to keep your piece, the process takes about a month. First firing, then returning to paint, then a second firing. You also pay separately for any pieces you choose to keep and paint. Our class was $35 per person, and it's $20 per piece for firing if you plan to come back and paint it. It's a commitment, but also two fun experiences if you're local or don't mind returning. Overall, I'm taking off one star due to our specific experience with their wheel throwing activity, but I still think the concept of this place is great, and I look forward to coming back to paint my piece as well as to try a different activity!

I forget this store exists every few years." I've only been here about three times in my life, and every visit feels like unlocking a secret retail side quest. The moment I walked in and saw nothing but aisle numbers, I knew I was no longer in control of my destiny. There is no such thing as a quick trip here. You don't shop here... you embark. To their credit, an employee pointed me straight to the labels (bless them). They were organized, affordable, and exactly what I needed. Craft supply pricing here honestly feels pretty great. BUT... while there is an overwhelming amount of cute décor, it's just not totally my vibe. It's the kind of cute that makes you excited for five minutes and then quietly wonder if it will survive longer than a seasonal storage bin. Meanwhile, I'm over here wanting items my imaginary future grandchildren will fight over like antique heirlooms. That's probably a me problem. Naturally, I still left with extra items because this store gently convinces you that you're one decorative sign away from becoming a person who owns multiple glue guns and hosts themed brunches. End result: Labels secured. Budget slightly confused. Craft ambitions unrealistically boosted. Great selection, helpful staff, solid prices... just not fully my aesthetic cup of tea. Would absolutely return for supplies. Would absolutely fail at buying only one thing again.
