The price is right for the work done. I made an appointment for a small tire rotation job and when I showed up, they had no record of it. Waited an hour for them to get it on the lift. While not directly associated with the repair, the bathroom was disgusting and had no paper towels to dry your hands and all of the trash cans in the bathroom and waiting room were overflowing. If you don't have to wait inside for anything, I guess this isn't an issue. read more

I brought my car in for the car care package (fluid top off, tire pressure, rotation, etc.) After, I was given a list of things that needed repair totalling $700. I had the work done, picked up my car the next day and noticed my window washer fluid was empty. After telling them, they needed to use a whole container to top it off. I was also then told my ticket said my air filter was not checked. After attempting to check it, the salesman could not figure out how to access the filter and said I could come back tomorrow to have it looked at. First, they were going to let me go off the lot with these things having not been done. This then leads me to wonder if I needed any of the $700 work done in the first place. Sorry, I don't care how cordial the front desk is. I'm not going to trust a car place that tried to pull a fast one on me, no matter how small the oversight was. This Michel Tires location is the BEST. Tony, the manager, always recognizes us by name and goes above and beyond to provide great service. He is always honest and forthcoming about your service needs. Typically, I would never go to get an oil change by myself because it's easy to feel taken advantage of as a woman knowing little to nothing about cars but I truly feel confident in trusting Tony and his staff at this Michel Tires location. read more

This is place is a big disappointment. Went there because of convenience and value. Left my car all day to get service and they forgot to service it. When asked I was told nothing is wrong. It was in for metal on metal front brakes. That was a mister obvious. Finally Amini recanted and guessed what was wrong and gave me a quote on what information I gave him. What ashame it needs a employee overhaul. They will rip you off. read more

Not good....I thought it was too good to be true and I was right. I broke down on labor day after a ball joint went out and my tire went sideways while driving and I thought I was SOL until a Michel Tire Employee drove by and told me and the tow truck they were open and the cheapest in town and to definitely not go to car-x across the street because of their prices. I thought I was very lucky to be saved on a HOLIDAY. It is all downhill from there, they messed up my billing twice that day by charging me for an oil change that I did not receive and not giving me the quoted sale price on new tires. All in all I had all 4 ball joints, 4 tires, a left axle half shaft, and a brake hose replaced along with a brake system flush and alignment for about $2,000.... I started noticing within a week that an intermittent squeaking/grinding sound coming from the front of my car and that my brake lights were on and not working as well, and an occasional wobble while driving my car. 4 weeks later the grinding sounds were very consistent and unsettling and my rear brakes WENT OUT!!! I took it back to the shop to see what was going on since they had just done significant repairs to my brakes and front end of my car. The told me that my engine mount was loose, my right axle was bent because if it, and that my master cylinder was not holding fluid but, they needed the master technician to give a better diagnosis in the morning so, I left it overnight... They called me the next morning with "bad news" that i needed another $1,400 in repairs to replace my master cylinder, rear brake cylinders, brake lines and hoses because they were corroded and damaged. When I asked about the squeaking/grinding sounds and that loose transmission and bent axle he said he didn't know what I was talking about and that everything else was fine with my car . He also said that they couldn't drive my car to listen for the sounds because it was too dangerous to drive and would need towed to go anywhere else. I immediately told him that I did not approve any work be done and that I was coming to get it. When I was able to get there 2 hours later, but they STILL had my car on the lift with mechanics seeming to be working on it. I took my car anyway and drove it 1 mile down the road to Car-X. They fixed everything for $450...1/3 of the price of Michel Tire. Car-X was not able to diagnose the grinding sound right away but, eventually found that the original ball joint that had been replaced was already shot. Michel Tire did politely replace the part when I returned with Car-x's diagnosis, which I appreciated. I'll give them the benefit of the doubt because sometimes these things just happen but, will not being going back to Michel Tire for any future repairs. read more

The manager Phil V. is not very pleasant. I have went there 3 times and 2 of the times I had a tire changed they did not replace my hubcap nor put tire in tirewell in trunk. I usually have to wait a very long time. The other employees told me that there manager doesnt do very much and leaves early. They consistantly have messed up, I only went here cause they give coupons. read more
