Excellent customer service. The manager Claudia is the best. She makes you feel welcome and is very attentive to your needs. I went for the first time on a Friday, to meet some friends that were going to participate in the Karaoke night. I arrived at 10:00pm. The servers saw me walking in I waited for 5min for the server she never came to the table I went ahead and asked for a menu she right away said it was last call for placing an order for food, I explained to her it was my first time there and that I need it a minute to order before the kitchen closed she said I had to hurry and that she couldn't wait. Without looking at the menu because I was rushed I order a shrimp tostada and a side of guacamole. She never brought me chips unless I asked her for some, I even had to ask for salsa, when my order came the avocado was black I showed it to her she brought me another piece of avocado. I asked her for hot salsa and she took awhile to bring me Tapatio. Overall, i received a really poor service from the servers, she looked bother every time I asked her for something. She was taking too long to the point I had to walked by where she was other servers saw me and never asked if I needed something. They lack customer service. When I got there they had only 5 tables full they were not busy to justify their delay or bad attitude. I would not come back expect for the Karaoke. I would just make sure to eat before going there again. Food taste was average. On a positive note Karaoke was nice, entertaining, the host had a nice voice and kept it moving she had a variety of singers, really nice! read more

Saw this place and decided to give it a try. It was hidden but once inside it was huge and not too many people. The service was great and the food was excellent. We got the carne asada fajitas, aguachiles, and tacos de birria. Everything had gravest flavor and food didn't take long at all. We left feeling really full and satisfied. This place was so cool! We stopped by because it popped up on yelp, its a hidden little spot. The karaoke was so fun to watch and the beers were served in ice cold glasses. She has a name badge that's how I always remember her name . Felipe is the cook there he comes out to bring my food and always says hi when I come in with my family. We come every Sunday or Saturday . During the week I always order a salmon salad to go . My boyfriend enjoys the Mich-Eladas his favorite is with tamarindo flavor and Corona familiar . I like the chamango margarita I order a virgen chamango since I'm always the designated driver . The manger there she's friendly always making sure we are ok . It might not look like much since it is located in a strip mall across the street from Morgan Park, but boy oh boy is it a golden delight of Mexican food and drinks inside. I am not much of a meat eater but I do adore their salads and enchiladas. They have a variety of drinks both alcoholic and non-alcoholic. (Try the Mexican Coca-Cola.) Although I am a simple Corona guy, if it is going to be a long night, drink a michelada first. Trust me. House rules to avoid the aftermath of making memories. The entertainment is great and they have several throughout the weekend. Karaoke is my favorite. It is a horrid experience to hear me sing (I am the one singing 70 and 80s songs) but everyone seems to tolerate me. Gracious staff and clients. It is a small venue. It does get crowded and the staff may be overwhelmed, but simply get their attention, and they will help. I love the experience. Every time I come here the service is outstanding and the food is even better. I've tried a few things on the menu and all were amazing.
