    Beautiful artwork by owner's brother

This place is a hidden gem in Point Loma! It is definitely a beautiful art gallery in a restaurant setting. The art featured is made by the owner's brother, and showcases some amazing pieces. Service was superb. The owner was very welcoming and personable. We ordered the Chicken Tagine and CHicken Shawarma and they were both equally delicious! We will definitely be back... :)

We had such a wonderful experience here. The owner came to our table, introduced himself, and we ended up having a great conversation about his family history and the origins of their food. It felt genuine and warm, never pressured. The food was excellent. The chicken was perfectly balanced--juicy, smoky, and grilled just right. Every dish we tried was delicious and clearly made with care. You can tell this restaurant is run with heart and soul. As a thoughtful gesture, the owner even gifted our daughter a postcard with his poetry and artwork, which made the evening extra special. We will definitely be coming back to this magical place filled with flavor, art, and hospitality.

The food here is amazing. Definitely made with love and care. I would give this place 10 stars if I could The ambience is quiet and cool on a hot Summer day. I had the MANSAF a delicious dish from JERUSALEM succulent lamb cooked with homemade yogurt on the low heat served on rice pilaf and almonds. I had a cup of the Greek chicken lemon soup. It was exactly how I like it. I also had the Gyros salad. There was a lot of Gyros meat on the salad. I was very happy please come and eat at probably really the best place in San Diego.

Food 5 Service 5 Ambiance 5 I had the cabbage salad; cabbage like you wouldn't think cabbage could be, definitely worth trying...I don't know how to describe the tastiness, it's just good...The hummus & pita chips were most delicious as well! I love the lady that served us, she is priceless

I highly recommend this place for authentic Arabic flavors and beautiful ambiance. I especially loved their mansaf and chicken soup on the side! The service was really good as the waitress was kind and the food came out really quickly. I also loved all the art displayed around the restaurant and was able to buy a beautiful print. This was a very unique restaurant experience and one of the highlights of my San Diego visit!

If you're looking for a place for a wonderful meal, as well as a memorable experience, you've got to make a stop to this artistic gem. It was such a delight and honor to be amongst a wonderful family, such as this one. We had the opportunity listen to their stories as well as experience their artistic pieces of art from poetry to paintings as well as their selection of literature. Visiting this restaurant was like walking into an art gallery where each table is also embedded with many verses of beautiful poetry and memorable stories, literally. In addition to the food which was amazing and very flavorful, the kind owner, who is also an artist exhibits his pieces all throughout the restaurant with an opportunity to purchase if you wish. The experience felt as if I was walking into someone's home, greeted with open arms, and invited to cherish a meal with their family. It's simply a place that you must visit when you're in the area. It's a very visual experience that I highly recommend.

I have never had Lebanese cuisine before and wanted something fairly light and healthy after some weekend yoga so my friend and I decided to stop by here for a late lunch. It is tucked away in a small shopping plaza right behind the Sports Arena Shopping Center. We shared the grape stuffed leaves, chicken tagine, and moussaka. All of the dishes were hearty and delicious. If you're familiar with Mediterranean flavors then this shouldn't seem too unfamiliar. What is so special about this place is Al, the owner, is also the artist of all the art displayed here at the restaurant. It's not everyday you meet someone who is an artist, author, and a chef! He was extremely nice and friendly from the moment we walked in till the moment we left. It felt like I was talking to a family member. This restaurant has a lot of history and has been in the area for several decades. Unfortunately, due to COVID, they had to shut down half of the restaurant so now it is much smaller than it used to be. This mom and pop shop has an unique and warm ambiance. This would be the perfect place to have a lunch catch up with a friend or a casual intimate date.

Delicious! Grew up eating middle eastern (Jordanian/Palestinian) food and I read they had mansaf -- so I had to stop by for a little nostalgia! We happened to come in right before the lunch rush so we had the whole place to ourselves which was perfect. The place is family owned - the gentleman who took our order was very sweet and lovely to talk to. Appreciated the warm hospitality!! Food was delicious! Will happily return on our next trip after the swap meet hehe - and do recommend!

The downside of this place was being seated on the right side of the restaurant near the carry out section. This was the pit of despair. I noticed that most of the staff goes to the other end first, and as a result 4 tables got seated after us and all of them had food on their table before we managed to flag one of the staff. It was definitely busy in there but he replied that he was simply going in order, but apparently order or left side to right side instead of arrival. I recommend trying to get seated on the side w the stained glass windows for better service. Other than that, the experience overall was pleasant.
