I left him on vacation for four days once, and even though my roommate was home, Crow meowed himself hoarse and lost weight while I was gone. He was only 5.5 lbs to start with, so we couldn't have him lose more. The next time I had to leave, Anne dropped in on him each day to play with him and make sure he was getting adequate amounts of his prescription food. He loved her, and I swear her weighed more when I got home! No hoarseness, and he's at happily on her lap when we were following up on how he had been. I feel like everybody has had the experience in previous jobs of not liking their coworkers as well as having crappy bosses. Here, everyone works well with each other, and we are truly a community. We look out for each other, and my bosses are always making sure that I am getting the recognition I deserve. I don't know where I would be without this job. Getting time off is not a problem and neither is sick days. Management is very understanding when I need a break or am going on vacation. I genuinely feel looked after by them and appreciated.

I went in today for an orientation and a walk through at about 10AM. IMO, there were way too many dogs in each area. The dog rooms are small and dimly lit, and all connected, so the atmosphere is very loud. I was shocked at how many large dogs were in such a small area. As we walked through with the staff, a fight broke out between two dogs. Others joined in because there was no where to go. One staff in the room for about 20-25 large dogs. No wonder. There is simply not enough room for the number and size of dogs in that space. I would never leave my dog there.
