This place is the real deal right in our own backyard. Never knew it even existed until I saw it on someone's IG reel. At first we entered the carniceria (will be back to buy some meat to cook next time!) and were instructed to go around the back to order hot food. We got the birria taco plate which was delicious and came with extra sauce, as well as a birria burrito (haven't tried it yet but it was a good size) and chips and salsa. I've been watching videos n posts so decided to come check it out. We enjoyed it! Cute outside dining area. Order kiosk or you can place your order with the nice lady at the window also - We ordered , chicken n carne asada tacos, side of rice and a pastor quesadilla. Everything tasted really good. Our only wish is the quesadilla was prepared more flat vs rolled like a semi-quasi burrito. Now salsa, the red is burn your mouth fire hot!!! The green is really good though and much milder. However a mix of both works also. Price point is good also. We will definitely return .. next I want to try a burrito or the taquitos. Give it a go, it doesn't disappoint!! read more

Tip: Make sure to specify one taco plate, or you'll end up with three like we did! I went with the carne asada burrito, and it was amazing. The meat was perfectly marinated, tender, and flavorful. The burrito came with rice and beans inside, plus a side of green salsa that was just the right level of spiciness--not too hot, not too mild. The taco plate came with three soft-shell carne asada tacos, rice, and beans, and my wife was very happy with it. They have self-serve kiosks for ordering, though it was down during our visit. Apple Pay tap also wasn't working, so we used a physical card. There's no outdoor seating, but parking is easy to find. I stumbled upon this hidden gem just in time for Cinco de Mayo! Garcia Mexican Grill is located right behind the Garcia Mini Market Carniceria and is a to-go spot only. It can easily be missed because it's all the way in the back of the plaza but you definitely don't want to miss out on this spot! They offer a variety of delicious Mexican eats- from chilaquiles to quesadillas. It was the Birria tacos however that caught my eye! The Tacos de Birria plate is $13.99 and comes with three Birria tacos with consommé dipping sauce, dip, rice and beans. Every thing is made to order and so it can take a bit of time. The wait is well worth it thought as the tacos came out nice and hot. I did notice however that the tacos were not really crispy but nevertheless I still enjoyed these tacos. They don't skimp on the birria and there was plenty of tender meat inside the taco. Even the consommé sauce had little pieces of birria. Though they give a lot of birria, I was somewhat surprised at the small portion of Mexican rice and beans. The real star of this plate however are the birria tacos and so the small portion of the rice and beans was not too big of a deal. Discovering this spot was definitely a win for Cinco de Mayo. Food is delicious! Enjoyed my birria taco and quesa-birria. Consommé is yum! Carne asada burrito was great. But when they say their red sauce is hot, it's REALLY HOT! Even my friend who's used to spicy sauce said it was spicy! Lady at the window was very helpful because having to order at the self-serve kiosk made me a little anxious. My kids want this and that out; I'm not sure if staff would see the special notes. Outdoor seating is not for me plus it was a little breezy when we came. First and last time ordering from Garcia's. Our chips showed up half crushed, like they'd been stepped on in a Stomp the Yard dance battle, and the guacamole was a weird creamy paste with zero texture...more like baby food than real guac. I ordered a wet burrito with asada and beans and it was a soggy mess with hardly any meat or beans inside. For the price, the quality was honestly terrible. Would not recommend. I've only had one item from the menu so far but it was above and beyond my expectations. I expected the earthquake fries to be a classic surf and turf offering but the sauce and ratios were well balanced. Shrimp was succulent. Fries were battered style and stayed crisp through the whole meal even when drenched with sauce. I understand why this dish popped up on social media feeds. Will be going back to try more of their offerings since I need to know if everything else is at this level. Great outdoor patio seating spot if you're COVID conscious, too. Food is delicious. This place has a huge billboard for such a little area. You order outside. A cute little outside seating area, despite being in a parking lot it's a nice beachy feel. I had gone in hopes of ordering the taquitos dorados, but unfortunately, they were out. I decided to get the Earthquake Fries since a lot of reviews mentioned them. The reviews were right! Earthquake fries were outstanding! Great flavor, and a big portion. My daughter asked for the asada taco plate. She enjoyed the tacos, but didn't really care for the rice and beans, she's picky though. Also bought some jamaica agua frescas which were excellent. There are some benches in front of the window for sitting, however, since it was raining, I waited in my car. Highly recommend! I will be returning to try the taquitos dorados, and some of their other offerings. read more

This is a to go place. I first saw on IG about it and wanted to try. The location is small and around the corner but no problem had has lots of parking. The service is good. You can call ahead or order from the window. The food, we got chicken tacos plate and a birra tacos plate. The chicken tacos were good, very flavorful. The birra tacos were okay I didn't get any of the dipping liquid and that was a disappointment. It was filled with a lot of meat though. The rice portion is a bit small, a little more would be nice as well as the beans very flavorful but too smooth for my liking. read more

I found this place a few months ago on tiktok and haven't stopped coming since. To the food and the service all around amazing the best Mexican restaurant in town and the best customer service I've experienced in such a long time. The customer service they give makes you feel at home there should be no reason this place doesn't have a line down the street. The portions of the food are very filling and the pricing is great given how much food they give you. The last time I was here there was a homeless man asking for left over food they so kindly prepared this man a plate with no hesitation I hope this provides more insight on how amazing these workers are. This has easily become my favorite Mexican spot! They have great flavors, menu, and portions. The birria tacos plate has become my #1 choice over any other place.
