Mexican night with good friends. Cadillac margarita.
    Sharon P.

The menu is a bit disorganized, but if you spend a few minutes studying you'll get a good idea of what's offered. Yes, most options are typical of a Mexican restaurant, so if you're craving something, you can likely order it. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The ambiance is cozy with a couple levels accessed by maybe 2-3 steps.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Service was friendly, maybe a little slow at some points, but it didn't faze us. Guacamole was decent, though I think it could have used some onions and Serrano or jalapeño. Chips are house made and on the thicker side. I loved them. Margaritas were a B-. My salted rim was maybe an inch long, in other words there was no salted rim. If I had ordered a 2nd, I would have asked for a full salted rim. Also, the Cadillac option was not served with a side shot if Grand Marnier. I'll have to assume the bartender shakes it all together (which is why I prefer the GM be served on the side). Not thrilled about the size or the price, but these days, nothing surprises me. $15 for Cadillac and $14 for regular margarita. He enjoyed his dozen oysters and the Caldo de Siete Mares. No leftovers, so there's that. The Mole Enchiladas, Carne Asada and Carne Asada a la Diabla (spicy shrimp) were enjoyed and plenty of leftovers for a couple more meals. Portions are generous. Lots of parking. Easy to find and effortless access into and out of the lot because it's in a strip mall/housing corner. Just across from Harbor UCLA Hospital. I might try this place again, but not before I visit my other favorite spots, a number of which are a much closer drive.

So delicious! Our waiter was so nice. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Love the vibe, my favorite type for Mexican restaurant.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I'm so glad we found this place! Great service, parking we so easy at the time we went. The service was awesome, and the food came quickly and was so delicious I'm so picky with horchata and flour tortillas haha but both were perfect! We'll definitely be back! Definitely recommend! We had shrimp fajitas and chili verde

Food, drink & the bartender was nice & one of the waiter was also nice but there's one other waiter kept rushing us which I don't like & that's why I gave 4 stars. Just don't see his face next time sigh

Two beef tacos with beans and rice

I hadn't been in this building since it changed, so when my girlfriend wanted to try it out, I was more intrigued on how different it looked. They kept a majority of its bones and major structure, but it definitely took on a role as a Mexican restaurant. We were sat in a booth where we were given fresh chips and salsa that hit the spot perfectly. She partook in a mango cocktail with a straw covered in tajin. I was prepared to test out their two-taco combination with beans and rice, and was pretty happy, with the amount of food on the plate. They filled the taco with plenty of lettuce, cheese, and tomato. Next to them were pico de Gallo and a scoop of good guacamole. The rice was delicious and the beans were great too. Not a huge fan of cotija cheese and the kitchen was nice enough to X that out for me. The tacos were perfectly crisp and filled to my standards. My girlfriend went with the shrimp burrito that came in a cast iron and topped with slices of avocado and onion fajita. It was so big that she didn't finish it at the table but took it home and enjoyed it for lunch the next day.m

Service is always excellent! My fav is the chicken mole enchiladas! So delicious. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Restaurant is always clean and beautifully decorated.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

We had a family get together here last night. [[HIGHLIGHT]]They easily accommodated all 26 of us!!! Yes 26![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]The atmosphere is traditional Mexican and the food was amazing![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The only thing better was our service!! The split the group in half, one server took 13 and the other server took the other 13. If we paid with a card we had to split each group with 2 cards, so a total of 4. The servers made no mistakes on the order, and handled all the special requests with ease and urgency. Make sure to try a tamarind margarita when you go! When we come to Torrance again I definitely will want to come back here to eat! Thank you

I went there last night for the revamping of their bar menu, and WOW! The drinks were AMAZING! So unique and flavourful. You can taste the fresh ingredients in each drink. The presentation is impeccable. The bar staff, Michael and Alex, are so fun to talk to, they were great! Give this place a try and find out for yourself!

The interior is neat and clean. There are various types of seating (bar; table; booth; high-tops; communal), and plenty of screens to watch sports. On this occasion, I ordered the Tavern Fish & Chips ($22). It is described as "Alaskan cod coated in a tempura beer batter and served with French fries, tartar sauce and yuzu herb coleslaw". The positives of this dish are that it was prepared well. Both the fish and chips tasted good. The presentation was also nice; which leads to the coleslaw: The coleslaw tasted good, too; but I was surprised the serving was so spare. It's almost as if it was served just to optically balance the presentation in the basket. (See photo shared,) And while the price was not unreasonable, feel it's creeping towards expensive (relative to serving size). I'll attribute this to rising input costs. Staffing might be an issue during the lunchtime service. Service was okay, but they seemed to be understaffed. It's possible that most of their business is done after 5pm.

Waiters kept checking on us. Got the mild Buffalo Wings for $14 and Parmesan Fries for $6. The wings were good. The Parmesan Fries were really good, they didn't skimped on the Parmesan. Both dishes were small and came with ranch sauce. Got place to watch the games with friends. Not the place to have a conversation. We were thrilled to see a few menu options that were marked as vegan. Bonus points for being affordable! I completely missed their attached parking lot when I arrived and ended up parking across the street in the neighborhood, where there was ample free parking. When we arrived, the restaurant was about half full and there was live music occurring on the patio. We opted to sit inside where it was a little less noisy and there was a comfy and cozy booth calling our name. The vibe was great, with fun and eclectic decor. The service was really upbeat and friendly and our server was so kind and helpful. We asked him if the espresso martini had dairy in it (which I just discovered that is a thing at some places) and he double checked with the bartender to ensure there wasn't my dairy in it! I ordered that alongside a falafel wrap I must say, both of these worked so well together. The espresso martini was light and refreshing yet still had a bold flavor. The falafel was nice and crispy with a delectable inside and the tahini sauce was so rich and creamy. The meal felt indulgent yet hearty all at the same time. I left feeling so uplifted and relaxed all at the same time. Despite it being on the noisier side, I was still able to hear my friend well and it was such a great place for us to catch up. I would highly recommend this restaurant and would definitely return the next time I'm in the area!

I ordered the pastrami on rye (basically a Reuben) which was good. I wish it had more meat and it was half sliced, half chopped. Overall our meal was great and there were TVs visible from anywhere you sat, which is perfect for a sports bar. My big gripe is being charged $1 for pickles to go with a sandwich. Maybe you get more if they put them directly on the sandwich, but they forgot mine so the pickles came in a ramekin. 6 pickle slices for $1.

Angel was turned around, I said hello and he turned around but didn't make eye contact but he had a mean scowl on his face. Angel said it'd be five minutes for us to be seated. I said cool. Angel walked away. A few other people pull up after we arrived and out of nowhere, another server by the name of Abram comes by and looks at the waiting list. Abram walks over to one of the couples that arrived after us and asks what name they had listed on the waiting list and then walks them over to sit them. A few moments later, Angel returns and tells Abram that we'd arrived first but Abram shrugged and then they started whispering amongst themselves. We continued to wait for about ten minutes while Abram just stands around being completely useless. Abram never said a single word to us. Not an apology for the delay. Not a single acknowledgement. Abram kept looking up at the ceiling, perhaps praying to a deity that we disappear and leave. We opted to make Abram's prayer come true by leaving. Based on the tacky signage posted, it's easy to see why this has such a low rating. Avoid.
