DISAPPOINTING to say the least. I came here on a Sunday during early brunch hours and the restaurant wasn't even full. It took HALF AN HOUR for the waitress to take my order and ANOTHER HALF HOUR to get my empanada and juice...there were other disgruntled customers waiting for their fairly simple orders, and even a lady from UBER Eats that had to cancel the order because they were taking so long. It's ridiculous how a restaurant can only have ONE waitress serving 50 or so customers during the busiest brunch hours. Food quality: OK Service: total crap. Don't waste your time here. As a vegetarian I appreciate Michis a lot. However, few things. Service is slow. And the owners aren't really helping. Just over seeing. Accounting and administrative affairs are being handled in the front. Ruining the dining experience. Hard to enjoy the food when there's vendors and handymen working. The absolute best "meatballs" on pasta I've ever tried..really, they should sell these "meatballs" by the pound! I loved the ambience, modern casual, and the service was on par. Healthy food, ingredients are super fresh. My husband is a picky avocado toast eater, and he LOVED their fancy avo tostada. I've eaten here a few times, I love that they have empanadas, tequenos and croissants all made whole wheat. The açaí bowls are so good and you have a variety of toppings to choose from. So, the food is delicious. I can't lie about that. However, due to the fact that they are understaffed big time the service and experience was horrible. Two people who seemed to be the owner were there as well constantly staring which I feel was rude and made things very awkward. Which leaves me asking myself, how can you not make an effort as an owner/manager to lend a hand to your staff who you are obviously overworking? I really tried to like this restaurant but sincerely I couldn't, the first time I went I ordered the arroz con pollo because it looked delicious on instagram but when I got it it looked nothing like the one on the picture, it was orange and sooo soupy, not to mention the service, the owner had a very unwelcoming face, I decided not to come back again but my husband made me go since he haven't tried it, again the food was not what I expected, not enough with that I ordered from UberEATS because a friend told me to try the poke bowl...OMG this time I really didn't like it! UberEATS had to refund me my money because I couldn't even eat it! The idea is great however most of their items only give you the Splenda option. Some items have stevia. Really if it is to be considered 'heath food' Splenda is not healthy. The restaurant should reconsider having items with raw sugar as well. read more

Prices were okay but the food was not that great. Got the poke bowl and the flavor was good but the rice was so so hard, it was definitely undercooked. Does the chef not check? That's really weird. Flat tummy smoothie tasted very light, like it had too much ice or water in it. Pizza was not memorable. Avocado toast was quite delicious except for the face that it was extremely overcooked! I felt like my teeth were being grinded down with every chew. Wish this place was good, we really needed a healthy place but looks like this is another bust. :'( read more

My friend recommended this place for brunch so we went to check it out. It's known for its healthy food options. I went with the Blanca pizza on whole wheat bread, DELICIOUS! It was a personal size but filled me up so much I had 3 slices left i took home for dinner. My friend had the red velvet waffle that had Greek yogurt icing on top and it was really good. I love how healthy-food-forward doral is becoming! This place is located in the heart of the city, and although It is small, the decor and ambience are very inviting. What a nice surprise! We chose this place for the promising menu and it was great! We started with the coconut lemonade, and got the tequeños, tuna poke and ceviche tostones, they were all amazing! Meeting with some friends from high school we just wanted to catch up and the staff made us feel right at home, capuccino was awesome too but what put the cherry on top was that our server, Jesus, was not only extremely attentive, patient and with a great disposition, but he went above and beyond and spoke to the chef to make us a nutella pizza called "the pecadora" it was the right way to close the evening! First, I received a call from the restaurant prior to the delivery letting me know they did not have the protein cake.. yet they still charged me for it. The poke bowl was very small. The tuna in it was good and so was the tiny bit of seaweed salad. However, the rice was extremely hard to the point that I honestly believe it was completely uncooked. The Hawaiian pizza was good but cold. The greek salad was tiny and drenched in the dressing. I also added chicken (paid extra for it) and it came without chicken... yet I was still charged for the chicken. I paid $12 for THE tiniest salad I've ever seen. I ordered the coconut lemonade which was very bitter the Asian salad which was also bad the Asian dressing they used has a very strong bitter taste and they put a lot of it in the salad the grilled chicken didn't seem fresh and I also ordered the Dulce leche cake. So I came to Michis with my husband after a couple of times of eating there and the service keeps going down hill every time we go. The manager (Jesus) is horrible, mind you he attended us and he wasn't even aware or alert of anything he was doing. He handed us the menus without even saying a word or a smile. Couple minutes later we saw our food ring up and he passed by it like nothing and didn't even stop by to take it to our table. Plus he didn't even serve us water, we had to ask for water while eating. The pasta was kind of cold, I ate it just because I was starving and I couldn't wait anymore. WORST service ever especially coming from a manager. I'm sorry but I would not recommend this place to anyone. read more
