    10" Giardino

Never been here before but it had good ratings from other Yelpers. I got a 10 inch Giardino pizza. It's all vegetables so I was afraid it would be soggy. But it wasn't! The crust was crisp and light. One piece was a little soggy because the juices flowed under it. The taste was very good. I also got some gelato which I highly recommend! The staff was very friendly and helpful. It was pretty empty but the place was nice and there were lots of tables. I would definitely go back if I lived in Denver

We decided to try Mici since our daughter's school was doing a fundraiser night there. (Oh the sacrifices we make for our children!) Pizza is tasty. The crust has cornmeal or something on it that makes it extra special. We did the Pietro- which has sausage, peppercini, and onion, and we added mushrooms. Lovely combo! The cheese is also good. We ordered ours as takeout, but the service for all that was excellent and very friendly! I believe Mici uses quality ingredients and would certainly return here to support the children anytime!

Came into town to visit family . They say let's go to a local place. We ended up here and the food is perfect! Definitely a place I could eat at 5 days a week. The staff is equally wonderful! Atmosphere is homey.

Just got back from eating at Mici Italian off of University and Arapahoe Road. We ate at the Mici in Parker, but we wanted to bring somebody who lived in the area and had not been here before. Mici can be counted on to have great salads, pizza, and pasta. What made this location a 5-star review was the staff. The person at the front was amazing. He was very welcoming, and friendly and was all about making the customer feel welcome. When we ordered my wife and I like to get two salads and split a pasta entree. They split it for us in the kitchen which was great. The food was well prepared and was served nice and hot. I like the Casa Salad off of the salad menu. It has gorgonzola cheese, grapes, and walnuts on top of a bed of lettuce. The balsamic vinaigrette is well-balanced and supports the salad well. For our pasta this time we got the TORTELLINI ALLA MICELI which was very tasty. The prosciutto and peas are a nice accompaniment to the pasta and alfredo sauce. The bread was perfectly toasted and seasoned. It was another great meal at Mici Italian.

I got a 10" pizza togo an it was still crunchy and warm by the time I ate it. The crust is the best thing about this pizza - it's super crisp while also still being light and fluffy. The fresh tomato's added a much needed burst of flavor. I also like the addition of the cut basil so that it was in every bite. My only complaint is that it was very salty so I felt like I needed to drink a lot of water after. However I would definitely consider coming back and trying out some of their other flavors.

Wow...this little hole in the wall. We wanted to grab a quick easy dinner and found this gem. The Caesar salad was fresh and delicious. What topped it was the cheese pizza...the crust was thin, crunchy and tasted fantastic. The cheese had a wonderful flavor and nothing was greasy. The young man Otto (who took our order) was kind, efficient and knowledgeable. Service here was amazing. Everything was super clean.

Delicious pizzas and pasta! First had Mici for a work event and I was really impressed with the pizza... the crust was amazing and the toppings flavorful. Since then I've ordered for family events and just for my hubby and I. Everyone seems to enjoy the pizzas and pastas. They are reasonably priced and always ready on time! We'll continue to support Mici!

Not bad. Pizza is different has a corn starch flavor to it because of the crust. Definitely different and not a bad pizza, just not great.

the back (curved part of the "calzone") where they didn't even bother to join the PIZZA CRUST together. very authentic (not)

My personal favorite is Cranelli's Italian restaurant in Lone Tree, Colorado. We were very warmly greeted as we arrived at the restaurant. On this particular day, we were there during happy hour because I had a nearby appointment. Right away, the ambiance was warm, cozy, had the feeling of a "real" Italian restaurant. We were taken to a table and within minutes the server approached with warm freshly baked garlic knots and asked if we would like to order any drinks or appetizers. Cranelli's has amazing happy hour deals on fabulous appetizers. We enjoyed every single bite of everything we tried and the drink deals were great, too. But the magic really happened with the entrees. I always order the chicken cacciatore. The level of the flavor and the intensity of flavor honestly feels like a party in my mouth. There is so much food if you get the full size, which I do, just so I will deliberately have leftovers. I got four meals out of my full size cacciatore! Mama Mia! My dining companion had the lasagna and we both Ooo'd and ahhh'd over it. Every bite so delicious. Our bill was so reasonable and we can't wait to go back!!!

Normally, I'm served a generous portion of Italian bread before the meal. However, here they serve some sort of buttered rolls with pinch of flaky salt on top. Absolutely nothing wrong with that, as the bread was delicious. It's just a little different than what I've encountered at other Maggiano's restaurants. This dinner might have been the only time the two of us were quiet during my entire trip to Colorado because the food was really good! My only complaint is that my dish was a little bit bland. It's always been seasoned a bit better at other Maggiano's locations that I've visited... But it wasn't enough to keep me from ever ordering it again. Our server was very good and really attentive to our needs. I also appreciate how sturdy the to-go box was because decided to take my leftovers with me to the airport. The drinks came out very slowly and was told that the bar is behind...so behind that wine requested at the beginning of the meal, came out during the main meal. Dishes came out wrong, yes, they brought out the wrong food. Dishes were sent back more than once, pasta was undercooked multiple times. It was so chaotic and absurd, that it just kept on going and going. To have one mishap...ok, but for it to happen over and over again. Couldn't even get an espresso right. The bathroom was beat up and the door going into the restroom was so loud, I thought it was going to fall off. The booth was falling apart as well. It wasn't busy with less than a fourth of the restaurant occupied. Sadly the decades of going to both locations, WE WILL NEVER BE BACK!

We were immediately sat on the patio around 5:45 PM. We were greeted and given "welcome bubbles". What a nice touch. After about 5 minutes, we were finally given menus. Other people were sat around us, so we waited to ask for the happy hour menu. We ordered the chef's choice charcuterie, a cocktail, and a glass of wine. The drinks and board were yum, but not quite a wine bar as there were very limited option by the glass. Also, we had to ask for plates and silverware where this is a basic item. While deciding on dinner, we were approached a couple times by the 2 servers in the section. One was friendly, the other, not so much, rather indifferent and made us feel a little uncomfortable and not very welcome. This kind of set the tone for the rest of our night. We ordered the "family share" chateaubriand. We realize this is an expensive cut, but the portion is definitely not a sharing cut, around 4 oz. It is closer to a single entree. When it arrived, the plate was cold, like the meat was lukewarm and the cauliflower was ice cold. Again, we had to ask for silverware and plates for this "family style shareable" plate. We brought the cauliflower temperature up with the server and got new cauliflower after we were done with the rest of the meal. Also, I sat with an empty wine glass and no one stopped to ask if I needed another glass. When the servers did stop by, it was a short interaction and we never even had a chance to ask before they were already walking away. We saw so many people come in and out that they must be doing something right, but for us, our experience was mediocre. If our meal would have been the correct temperature (it was well prepared, just cold) and better execution on the service, we may have had a better experience.
