Mici is my go to pizza place. I love so much about this place. Their 10" pizzas are the perfect amount for a single person which means everyone can get the pizza they want! The cristofiori is my absolute favorite and I always add black olives for a little extra flavor. Whether you're looking for a traditional red sauce, white sauce, or pesto, mici has something you will love. And, as with any pizza place, you can also build your own and get exactly what you want. If you're not feeling pizza, their pasta is also excellent. And you must try their mini canollis. We often order delivery which is always super quick and we've never had complaints about the quality. But the sit down restaurant in Central Park is also lovely and comfortable. And it smells incredible from the moment you walk in. Truly irresistible. Ample parking behind the restaurant and along side streets make this a super easy visit. read more

It's not bad but it's not great. The pizza crust is thin and there wasn't much sauce which made the pizza very dry (unless you prefer this). Def recommend getting a side sauce if you want to spend another $2-3, on top of a $20 pizza. Tortellini is my favorite but this was sadly lacking flavor and did not come with the ciabatta bread. TBH it tasted like the refrigerator packs you get at the grocery. The Molto Carne calzone was the family favorite, with great flavor. It's huge but don't be fooled by the size! All the meat (equivalent to toppings on 1 pizza slice) was stuffed in the middle by the cut, and the rest was 2 in of crust surrounding. This came with a side of marinara sauce which helps with the dry crust. Ingredients and recipes might pay homage to their Italian roots but the nonni's are not the kitchen. read more

First time in Denver and Mici's was our first stop! Fresh, simple, delicious authentic and fast. We loved the pizza crust, the Mama Rosa penne, and the meatball was soft and tasty. Gelato on point, like putting a little Italy in your mouth. Mia could NOT have been more great, went above and beyond, we felt very welcome by an old (new!) friend I only dinged atmosphere bc the cracks in the booth upholstery will hurt in the summer, and we parked before seeing any signage... so glad we didn't drive away! read more

We stopped in one afternoon to Mici Italian Restaurant, the Central Park location. This is one of many locations - it's a "fast casual" Denver based, family owned (Miceli Family) franchise chain, using long time family recipes. This family is all about giving back & helping the community, check out their website for more info. The restaurant's decor is really cute & inviting, including an outdoor patio with tables & chairs. The main colors are black & white - black ceiling & white chairs. This coordinates with an entire wall of vintage black & white photos of named aunts, uncles, grandma & grandpa with a statement... "Proudly serving recipes passed down personally by this lively bunch." We placed our order at the counter as you walk in. The same person brought out our meals. She was friendly, very personable & attentive. We ordered the Lasagna served with garlic bread & the Molto Carne Calzone. If pasta & calzones aren't your thing they also serve pizza & salads, plus cannolis & gelato for dessert. They also have gluten free options, wine & beer & zucchini noodles to substitute pasta noodles. The lasagna was just okay, it needed more spice & it had very little meat sauce. The garlic bread was plain, it lacked the garlic. The calzone was the star! It was stuffed full with (a family recipe) sausage, meatballs, pepperoni, mozzarella & ricotta cheese. The ricotta really made this dish top notch as well as the delicious dipping sauce & a wonderful crust. I'll be back to try the pizza next time, however I might just have to order that calzone, it's definitely craveable! read more

We often order for pickup, and I love the options they provide to customize your pizza, down to how well it's cooked and if you want single or double cut. Great deals/promos, too! We ordered our usual tonight, two 16" pizzas, as we've had a busy day of packing as we prepare to move out of state. Ordered food to be ready at 4:45pm so we could eat prior to Nuggets game. Friend arrived to pick up food and order hadn't even been started. Still no food so called at 5:20pm to speak to manager and she blamed Door Dash stating that they didn't receive order until 5:15pm. When I go to the kids birthday parties or my grandchildren have a party they usually order mici pizza and it is usually so good and I love it so I decided to order one this weekend however, when the pizza got here, it was cold - not warm - but cold now mind you the store is only seven minutes away from me it was a Friday so it took the Uber eat guy maybe 10 minutes to deliverer it and I know because I watched the car leave mici and come straight to me on the app. He didn't stop anywhere. He didn't have any more stops or drop offs he left mici and came straight here. That pizza did not come straight out the oven to my house. That pizza was either one someone had canceled or they have been sitting for a while For one the cheese had gotten hard like it does when pizza has been sitting out for sometime and yet it was also unbelievably oily. It was the worst pizza I ever purchased. If I had a thought about it, I would've Got in my car and took it back, but I didn't. I just end up throwing most of it out. So I decided to write this review because i'm hoping mici sees it and knows just because I didn't call and complain or take the pizza back doesn't mean that that was OK or that a customer wouldn't notice that. Excellent lunch special at an incredible price. The crust on their pizza is absolutely delicious. It's almost like a pastry, that's how good it is. The service was very friendly. It's basically a strip center restaurant, so the ambiance is not exciting, but that's not what you're there for. One of our favorite neighborhood spots in Central Park! Great pizza, salads, and pasta entrees. We also love their patio on nice evenings.

The best part about Mici is that it never disappoints. I've been coming here for a few years and always do takeout. It had never once not been ready when I arrive. I've had pizza here before and wasn't into it that much. It was good but not something that I would crave. This time - I ordered pasta Bolognese. We ordered to go and my fiancé went to pick it up. It came with garlic bread. First, even though this is a basic choice - the sauce was very good and the Bolognese was nicely done - not too many seasonings and not overwhelmed with too much meat. I'll start by saying I actually love Mici and am there A LOT. My kids attend classes a few doors down so I often take myslef and all four of my kids to dinner there. The female manager is super sweet and the employees that are normally there are fantastic. I also order Mici's delivery quite often because my kids love their pasta, meatballs and gelato. So tonight when I received my delivery order and an item was missing I called fully expecting a positive experience. The young woman who answered the phone was great as she tried to come up with a solution to the problem. She asked the male coworker what to do in this situation...I believe it may have been another manager. I could clearly hear his responses as she explained that I was hoping to have the missing meatball delivered. His previous responses weren't very helpful but his final one was, "You've got to be mother f***ing kidding me!". I was in the middle of feeding my four kids and had the phone on speaker. Unfortunately my kids heard the whole ridiculous exchange and now have some new words in their vocabulary. Super disappointing that this one bad employee reflects so poorly on Mici. The food is consistently good and tonight was no different. It was simply unnecessary for that kind of anger and language to be used over such a silly customer service issue. read more

We ordered from here online on a Tuesday night, and to our pleasant surprise it was ready within 20 minutes. We parked in the parking lot for curbside pickup and our order was brought to us immediately. Great, fast service at this location! Now the food - SO. GOOD. As we were driving back the amazing pizza smell filled our car and we could hardly wait to eat...the pizza was delicious, our absolute favorite. After a long day exploring, we decided to grab some good ol' comfort food to take home to eat. We came to Mici for pasta. I was a bit conflicted between a pasta or pizza, but ended up with the Alfredo pasta ($9.75) mostly because I'm a sucker for white sauce and bowtie pasta. The dish also came with garlic bread too. Since we got our food to-go, maybe this deteriorated the experience than if we had it fresh at the restaurant. Either way, we were only 5 minutes away and it was consumed within 10 minutes. We received a flyer with coupons for Mici so we figured we would give it a try. We used a coupon for BOGO 10' pizzas- I ordered the Mora, my partner ordered the pepperoni. We also ordered garlic bread to split. Overall, the food was underwhelming. There wasn't a ton of flavor to the Mora but the crust was nice. My boyfriend liked the pepperoni pizza, but said it wasn't anything special. The garlic bread was ok, although a bit on the salty side. There are other pizza places in the neighborhood where you can get better food, similar portions for a lower price. read more

We ordered takeout, a simple 16" sausage pizza and and antipasti salad. The pizza was nice and chewy, with lots of sausage, the sauce was tasty. The salad was fantastic with lots of salami and ham, pepperonchi,tomatoes, artichoke hearts, and mozzarella. The ratio of toppings to greens was perfect and the dressing was yummy. So the pizza is good...the quality is not at all the issue. My complaint is with their online system and employees who do not seem to understand the issue, or care.... Beware-if you want to order, CALL THEM...do not order online...they are having some sort of glitch with the payment system; it takes your payment but no order is sent to the location. It happened 3 weeks ago...you'd think they'd fix it (Had to call Denver corp office to get 2 charges of 65.00 refunded) or stop allowing online ordering until they DO fix it. But, no, yesterday same thing. Now I have to ask for a refund AGAIN. Too much completion to keep going through this. Slice 420 is right down the road. Oh, and also, Manager at Bloomington location in Co Spgs doesn't seem to care that this is happening continually and best advise from him is "just wait for a refund." read more

Well, I was in the mood for some good Italian food and Mici's was right around the corner. I was sold on their "handcrafted, Italian roots, family recipes" line. Figured new to the area, why not. Well, I wish I had not. I'm not sure what was handcrafted, but if opening the box of dried pasta and stirring it in the water by hand equals handcrafted, then they aren't lying. But I went for some fresh pasta, home made sauces and a good Italian meal. What I got was fast-food Italian, boxed pasta and maybe two-tablespoons of the meat sauce. Plus some weird baked-like edges. The other pasta dish was the creamy pesto, which just tasted like it came out of a mass-produced can. That one, had about a quart of sauce, way too much for enjoyment. The "garlic bread" was nothing more than toasted Italian bread with some garlic infused EVOO smeared around the crust. Inside was just white bread - boring. So, in all, I won't return. I'll find a real Italian place that serves home made & handcrafted authentic Italian meals. read more

Updated review. I ordered pizza from Micis for delivery to my house. Was delivered within 30 mins and the pizza was nice and hot! The crust was baked perfectly, golden brown and even throughout! My only gripe is $25 for a 16 inch speciality pizza is kind of expensive, when you factor delivery charge and tip it ends up being about $30 or so for a pizza. Consistent pizza is hard to find in the area, and Micis is the front runner at this point, even if they are on the spendy side of things. read more

We wanted some establishment closer to home, coz it has been a long week at work for Hubs and to this establishment we went. This recent visit was on Thursday July 24th 2014. Time was about 20:00hrs ish. When we came to this establishment, man this establishment is jam packed, with other patrons alike. Yes, you order at the counter, and they will send your order to where you are seating with the NUMBER TOKEN. From the Menu, we opt to have the following items : * Panini Chicken Parm ($8.00) * LARGE Antipasta Salad ($9.25) * 10" Create Your Own Pizza, my option being Anchovies and Artichoke ($10.00) * 2 Soft Drink (@1.75) each, hence it was ($3.50) Yes, they have Decent options. But since the WEATHER is TOO hot, Hubs opt to have the Salad, but he FORGOT to inform the staff to remove all the PORK OR HAM products that comes along with this salad. *SIGH* Decent Dinner. The staff sent our food to the table we are seating. Hubs had to remove all the PORK OR HAM products from the Salad. The ANTIPASTA SALAD contains Mixed greens, Salami, Ham, Provolone, Mozzarella, Olives, Artichoke hearts, Roasted Red Peppers, Pepperoncini, Pepperoni and Tomatoes. Hubs opt to have Blue Cheese for his Salad too. Hubs also had the Pollo Parmigiana aka Chicken Parmesan with Breaded Chicken Breast, Marinara Sauce and Mozzarella baked on an Italian Roll. I cannot deny the Anchovies on my Pizza was a little too salty for my taste bud but those Pizza was indeed additive. Now if only they can offer other shellfish as well, that would definitely be my kind of Pizza Heaven! Later after our Dinner we opt to purchase 2 Sorbets TO GO. Decent Sorbet I must add, coz it MELT WAY TO FAST due to the weather?? Hubs even like the sorbet he had. I could not recall what we had for the Sorbet but it was like about $3.35 for a Small and $4.35 for the Medium Sorbet, I think. We might return when needed since its near to our hood. They need to keep the "flies" away at this establishment. Coz while dining away, I need to "SWAP" a couple of those nasty flies away from the food we are having. Maybe since one, a lot of people come in and out of the door and perhaps the "INSECT/FLY" SWAPPER or "Detector" DO NOT WORK. *SIGH* There are plenty to seat outside too, AKA the PATIO when the weather permits. This was my observation since many more Patrons came in dining in, taking the opportunity to seat at the Patio, while having their Wine and Dinner away. Another observation, many more Patrons decide to have SORBETs or Gelatos from this establishment that evening too. It was $32 for a 8 slice pie and a Alfredo pasta bowl. The pizza was pretty good and had great seasoning, cheese and a sauce. However, it was a little oily for my personal taste and the bread was a little too soft, but that might have been due to the fact we ordered it for delivery and the oil could have seeped into the bread by the time it got here even if it is a 10 minute drive. The pasta was not well made. There was hardly any sauce at all and the it was definitely underdone. I was definitely looking forward to it due to the pictures because it seemed delicious but it was incredibly dry with little to no taste.
