We stopped in on a Saturday night and were able to get a table right away. There was live music playing which was a nice surprise. Our server was great! Drinks are made really well, I tried the white sangria, and got an espresso martini as my "dessert". For food we werent starving so we just got the sampler platter - the garlic parm chicken fingers were the best Ive had in a long time. Im usually a buffalo girl, but the garlic parm blew the buffalo out of the water. The platter was small in size, given the price, and the mozzerella sticks were just frozen ones they fried up - kind of boring. We will for sure be back read more

Mediocre food at best, the servers were friendly but didn't anticipate nor did they choose to offer anything in terms of a 40 minute wait for burger and chicken pasta dish. We got: BUFFALO WINGS Crispy, saucy, and full of classic buffalo flavor. A solid start and exactly what you expect from a sports bar style wing. FRIED MOZZARELLA Golden and crunchy on the outside with warm cheese inside. Tasty overall, though it did not have that dramatic cheese pull. Still a fun appetizer. SHRIMP COCKTAIL Chilled, fresh, and served with a bright cocktail sauce. Simple and satisfying. BOURBON STEAK TIPS Served with mashed potatoes and vegetables and the flavor on the steak tips was incredible. Tender, juicy, and coated in a rich bourbon glaze that really stood out. The mashed potatoes were creamy and the vegetables were a nice fresh touch. Easily one of the highlights of the meal. BURGER A classic burger with lettuce, tomato, onion, and bacon. Right in the center of a town center, lovely outside area, and pretty great food. Although, they did have wait times longer than ones at larger and more well known restaurants, and had slightly unfair prices. I wouldn't recommend this if you were on a tight budget, but other than that I think you would like this place. read more

This was my friend and I second (5/22/24) visit to The Waterfall in Canton, Ma. The food was great! We both had the Crab Cakes.. yum and yum. I had the Shrimp Cocktail that paired well with my Martini. My friend enjoyed his favorite Beer with The Waterfall Burger. He said " perfect Burger ". The service was amazing (sorry I forgot our Bar Tenders name, but she and her helping staff). Was awesome. The Ambiance was great as well and although it was Hot outside. It was nice and cool inside. If my husband were rating this he would rate lower. I'll start with what's good. In the summer, the patio is very nice in the evening. It feels nice to sit outside and hear the water. It's a nice atmosephere. The staff are usually nice and pretty chill - I've seen them be good to people there who needed accommodating. My husband has been disappointed time and again with his food though. The veggie burger was too salty, the meat burger was too salty. He's had each of them a few times I normally get the tuna melt and it is reliably a decent tuna melt. The food is pretty expensive for the size and what it is. Basically - this restaurant's ambiance is great. Good for drinks outside. Food is hit or miss. I'd be upset if I ordered one of the more expensive dishes and it were as salty as the burgers. read more

We buried my sweet sister Susan today and ended with our luncheon for 20 at the Waterfall Bar & Grille. Briteny did a great job helping to plan & set up our meal. Everything was well set up with plenty of water and a delicious assortment of many appetizers that we had chosen. The portions were very generous and purchased based on our numbers. I opened a bar tab and that also went off without a hitch. Special requests such as coffee no caffeine were quickly delivered. Cleanup was being done as we ate. Never actually got my entree. Took 1.5 hours and still didn't get my Cobb salad. Told them to just box it up but when I got home it was missing toppings and no dressing. Apparently the kitchen staff called out.... Wish they would've told us when we ordered, instead of letting us sit there for all that time and stiilll not get served. Felt bad for the server as she recanted that she was getting yelled at for checking in all the food being delayed. Whoever is running that show should really get in the game. read more

So my husband and I have been wanting to try waterfall bar and grille unfortunately, we were very disappointed!!! I would say service was a 4 as for the food our sides were cold not even luke warm and my husband's steak tips were even cold however tasted good I did make our server aware of the cold vegetables, and I was just asked if she would like us to take them back and warm them up. My friend booked her rehearsal dinner. There's no a/c. Not even being dramatic it's 81 degrees in here and climbing and we are all dripping in sweat. Servers were nice but no one should come here. I have been wanting to come to this restaurant for a while due to its charming location next to a waterfall and river, with an outdoor patio. But I think they're leaning a little too much on their scenery. The food was mediocre at best. The kids had kids penne pasta. One with butter, one without. They didn't get that right, and made both dishes without butter. There was no salt or pepper on the table, (and believe me, you needed it.). We had to get up and go "steal it" from the bar. My friend got a burger which she said was ok. The service was lacking. We had two rowdy boys under the age of 10. For example, a fork got dropped (which happens with kids) and the server did not come for 10 minutes... we had to find the basket with the silverware rolls ourselves. Meanwhile the food was getting cold because one of the kids had no fork. I had baked haddock with mashed potatoes and summer vegetables. The haddock was the best part of the meal. It was verging on good because, breadcrumbs and lemon. And it was properly cooked. Worst mashed potatoes I have ever had from a restaurant. They were boiled potatoes, mashed. Literally. No flavor. No olive oil, garlic, Parmesan or other typical variations on mashed potatoes. The vegetables looked dull in color and liked they were steamed a few days ago and kept in the refrigerator. They also were served dry. No butter or olive oil of any kind. Not salted. My drink, a raspberry margarita, was pretty good. I felt badly that I did not enjoy my meal especially because my friend treated me, and I know she wanted to do something nice. read more

I had to download yelp because I had to talk about my experience at Waterfall Bar and Grille. First of all the service was exceptionally slow. When we got the water for the table, we got a glass of water for the table with small glasses. After pouring the 3rd glass we were basically out of water. Their menu shows items that can be gluten free. When I asked for a gluten free burger bun(which the menu said could be GF) I was told by the waitress "we don't have any" very rudely. I ordered the burger medium well, and it came out VERY rare. I took 2 bites big bites and they took it back to cook it some more. When it came back, it was somehow burnt on the outside and medium rare inside. Over the course of our meal, we had 3 different waitresses helping us. One asked me if the burger was any better, I said no and she basically looked at me like "too bad ‍" If you're ever in canton, I highly recommend not going to this restaurant. read more

I was in Brockton in business and it was lunch time. When traveling I like to check Yelp for reconditions and this restaurant was convenient but reviews seemed to be mixed. With all do respect to my fellow Yelpers I tried it anyway. It seems like more of a bar than a restaurant but the menu offered a variety of plates. I went with the Waterfall Burger, which came with fries and a pickle. Food was fine, no complaints here. Service was also very good, food came quickly and waitress was attentive. Refilled drinks without asking. I know that seems like an odd compliment but believe me I find the need to ask for a refill quite often. So I said it was bar, well a couple of minutes into lunch a group of elderly women came in. So either there are a lot of drinkers in Brockton or others agree that this restaurant is good for food too. May not be back soon but party on ladies!!! read more

Went there with a group of 10 on a warm but rainy Thursday night. We sat in the backroom facing the waterfall but could not hear it. It would be great if they could crack a window or something so we could hear it since it is one of the attractions of the place. Food - mediocre. $18 for steak tips. Most places I've gone where I pay that much I get enough of a portion so I can bring some home. Ordered my tips medium well and they came well done (no pink at all) - but they DID taste good (nice marinade). Mashed potatoes were cold. I considered sending my meal back but since the food took over a half hour to come out I decided not to. No one at the table was thrilled with their meals and from the other reviews here you can see why. I also ordered a vodka, cranberry & lime drink and it tasted funny. Underwhelming from start to finish. Service - mediocre. Allison our waitress never even asked us how the food was, but she did ask another table. She also neglected to tell the table that the cauliflower sides many of us ordered had run out and our meals just came out with asparagus. The food runner said she should have told us. Had to ask for bread since she did not bring any to the table. And good luck getting her to crack a smile. Not very friendly. I think you're in the wrong profession if you can't be friendly to guests. I might go back but I'm in no rush. For the prices they charge the food should be better. read more
