Last night my friends and I decided to have dinner and drinks at Mickey Burkes, and it was a great time. The food was fresh, well portioned and delicious, so thank you to the chefs. Our server Liora was great, she gave us impeccable costumer service. The ambiance was perfect, DJ was jamming, it was nice to be on the over populated beach area and enjoy such a great vibes. We had the pleasure of having Rico as our host, He introduced us to Mikey Burkes and encuraged us to come in. He made sure our time there was amazing. Amazing place! As someone in the restaurant business, the staff makes me want to do better. Phenomenal service, made you feel at home! Came here to watch the ball game one night and ended up falling in love, so we came back the next night! The atmosphere is great, live music some nights! If they don't have live music, they have a phenomenal dj! The live music is a new thing starting, should definitely check it out! Please avoid this place if you are looking for a restaurant with transparent pricing! My husband and I made a reservation for 5 for Saturday morning to celebrate his 30th birthday. At the time we made the reservation, the minimum required amount to spend there listed on Open Table was 250$. We felt this was reasonable, as split 5 ways this equates to bottomless mimosas + an entree per person + a few appetizers. Well, last night we got a message that the new table minimum was 375$ due to the USMNT having their match during our reservation time. The restaurant was completely unwilling to work with us about charging the 250$ price - the price that was listed on Open Table at the time we made our reservation. Be cautious booking here, they might increase the per table minimum for your reservation the night before your reservation! read more

Went by to watch a college basketball game on ESPN. Took them 15 minutes to ask me what I wanted to drink when sitting at the bar. I asked to have ESPN put on twice, they never did it and was charged $12 for an IPA. Amazingly, they had rugby, soccer and golf on but could / would not put on basketball. Customer service is non-existent at this place. I visit Miami often and can confidently say this is the worst sports bar experience I have ever had. read more

We just walked in and there weren't any available tables or spots at the bar, but the guy up front nabbed a table for us. Went simple, both of us got the Mickey B Burger with BBQ sauce, 1 with bacon, 1 without. Perfect meal! Currently our best burger to date. The fries are done perfectly: not too hard, well seasoned. The burger: just go get one. We didn't even want to put them down it was that good. Also got an order of Buffalo wings. They come with a side of bleu cheese that's topped with dill and parsley. We found this place by accident while looking for a place to watch the game. Started off with a very friendly young lady who answered the phone when I called to inquire if they would have the Celtics on tonight. She said absolutely and then took the time to explain where the parking was. We arrived to a smiling young man at the door who greeted us and told us we could pick any table we wanted. We got the cauliflower and tomato mozz appetizer, they were good not OMG amazing but definitely better than average. The cauliflower was a bit hard still, and the crostini on the tomato salad tasted a tad stale but didn't ruin either dish for us. The star of the show were the burgers that all three of us ordered, holy smokes!!!! Two got the bistro burger and one had the jam burger. By far one of the top three burgers I've ever had. The brioche bun was spot on, the tomato jam....omg I'll be dreaming of this for days. Overall just a perfect burger experience. The fries were hand cut, perfectly seasoned, salty in all the right ways....I will say, they came out a little undercooked but once we flagged down the manager BNice and told him that was our only comment, he was quick to return with a dish of hot crispy fries to take their place. This is not your average spot at the beach. The food is hands down one of the best foods we've had in south Florida. The fries are to die for! We also had the fish and chips, which did not disappoint. The ambiance is also very nice, laid back, with a live dj playing music.
