We ended up at Mickys after Hamburger Mary's because a few people in our group had those high-heeled shoe cups and were told we'd get discounted drinks if we brought them over. Naturally, we followed through. The second we walked in, we were greeted by two very handsome dancers wearing basically nothing but skimpy underwear and a whole lot of confidence. Not a bad welcome at all. I grabbed a lychee martini, met back up with my friends, and we hung out for a bit just soaking it all in. The vibe was fun, the drinks were good, and we laughed nonstop. Honestly, such a great way to keep the party going after brunch. My only gripe is I wish they had better indoor seating because I wasn't a fan of sitting outside. Would absolutely do it again.

One of the classic spots amongst the West Hollywood bar scene! Nights are pretty busy with various drag shows and gogo dancers galore on the weekends. Definitely check out their Instagram for the most current events. Eddie the bartender here is such a great guy! Super friendly and thoughtful and makes a strong and stiff drink! He also has his one of a kind drink The Eddie Special that is blueberry flavored and easy to drink.

    Packed on a Sunday night.

Whenever I'm in WeHo with my boys, Micky's is one of our stops. It happens to be one of the hottest gay bars/dance clubs in West Hollywood and we've been coming here for years. The music is pumpin,' the drinks are stiff, and the semi clad go-go boys are eye candy. Plus, the environment is welcoming, and we always have a fun time.

What can I say? It's Micky's. However you feel about the place, you likely know before you walk in. If you don't, let's just say the indoctrination process is quick and sometimes painful. For instance, $17 is a bit ridiculous for a Mai Tai in a plastic cup (photo: https://yelp.to/TcPkT2y-I2). Yep, that's how much it was in the early afternoon during WeHo PRIDE. Jamie W. and I were a bit gobsmacked but hey, it's Micky's. Besides, we were distracted by the frequent rotation of semi-clad go-go boys on the little platform facing the sidewalk. There was one at first, then three, and at the height of the PRIDE festivities, at least seven (photo: https://yelp.to/JMFA9-culv). Let's just say they know their audience. There were only a few customers in the cavernous space, which was fine by us since I start to hyperventilate in crowds anyway. Even without the gyrations of the go-go boys. DRINKS - 3 stars...ka-ching, ka-ching AMBIANCE - 3.5 stars...spacious during the day, a zoo at night SERVICE - 4 stars...the bartender was trying...is this where I talk about the go-go boys? TOTAL - 3 stars...(sigh) it's Micky's RELATED - Exploring WeHo? Here's my collection of places I've patronized and reviewed: https://bit.ly/3TBgdOP

I liked Mickey's. The happy hour specials were great and they had good seating when it wasn't busy. The music they played was also great and the staff was so friendly and chill. I had a good time visiting and taking advantage of their happy hour. They also have a pitcher of margarita plus all you can eat tacos for $14 but didn't try the tacos so not sure how that was. Overall I did enjoy our stay and the staff was so friendly and attentive. Good time overall so I'd give it a 4 based on my experience.

I had a good time. Taco lady was amazing!!! So good tacos. Service was hard to get and they weren't even busy. They only seem to remember you if you tip smh

We got to Micky's pretty early in the night which was great because we got a good table and I was able to watch the crowd start to grow pretty quickly thereafter. First impression of the bartenders.....so nice and the drink special could not be beat. Five dollar well drinks. And can we talk about the pour? We had tequila with a splash of pineapple! Of all the places I would go on to drink at Micky's was the best bang for your buck. DJ was playing good music and the go- go dancers started doing their thing. They were hot and definitely getting tips from the crowd. Speaking of, I loved that it was well mixed. Yes this is a gay bar but there were also a few women and a group of heterosexual couples enjoying the environment. Besides the bar area, there is also a connected outdoor patio where you can smoke and a second floor with lounge seating if you want to get cozy with someone.

We easily found a place to sit on the shaded outdoor dining area, all the time people were going inside the adjacent dining and dancing area for one of the Abbey's famous drag shows. I ordered the guacamole bacon cheeseburger with fries and my guest had the Philly Cheesesteak. My burger was cooked perfectly and looked great. The fries were fair, nothing to write home about. My guest loved his Philly Cheesesteak and it brought memories of the last time he ordered one more than a decade earlier. It's only fair that I mention the conduct of one of thr employees who appears to be a host. There was an ethnic couple (probably middle eastern) siting at the table next to us, dining and enjoying their meal, when this employee approached them and singled them out because of their ethnicity. He fawned all over them, loudly, apparently trying to be welcoming, all the while addressing them as "you people" and "we are open to people like you dropping in for a gold time." While he clearly wanted to be nice, he came off as condescending and racists and was very annoying to my guest and me and people at another table who muttered "what an idiot." On the positive sign the middle eastern couple didn't appear to be annoyed but, still, that's not the way first time guests should be addressed. We dropped in on the drag show after lunch but all seats were taken so we decided not to stand in the corner and watch. Getting smart, especially a good seat means arriving about an hour before the show. Today's show began at 1:30 pm. There are nearby parking lots, pricy and neighborhood parking if one can tolerate a moderate walk. The Abbey is an ice place to go, especially on Friday and Saturday nights. Dining is pretty good and their menu is not big. But they still have a nice variety of dishes.

Unauthorized Tip Added After I Closed My Tab…read more I came here for my friend's birthday and ordered a $15 drink. Unfortunately, the bartender was rude and dismissive, so I chose not to leave a tip. I closed my tab immediately, signed the receipt, left the tip line blank, and kept both copies of the receipt. My Cash App card was originally charged $15 that night, but the following day the transaction changed to $16. I did not authorize an additional $1 tip or charge. It's only a dollar, but that isn't the point. Customers should be able to trust that the amount they authorize on a receipt is the amount they are actually charged. Between the bartender's attitude and the unexplained additional charge, this was a very disappointing experience. I've kept my receipts and will be disputing the difference if it isn't corrected.
