    Martini Sunday
    Leanne V.

Visited for the first time on Sunday and to my surprise they had Happy Hour martinis . We were there a couple hours and had a great time. Our server Matt was a gem, he made our experience even better. The place has a nostalgic feel to it, small and golden. Definitely will come back next time I'm in the area.

My friend and I came over to OR Bar for coffee after chilling a patio nearby, not realizing that it was a true WeHo bar with a full coffee shop menu for many folks. There were quite a few folks on dates, and others were present for Trivia night which we participated in. Overall the staff was nice, service was quick and I was very cozy inside.

The interior design of the bar is gorgeous and intimidating, but the staff are incredible in their warmth and friendliness. We found seats very easily and a server came to make sure we were comfortable right away. Drinks are delicious and come out fast.

I visited during the day to cowork and while the atmosphere was pleasant, the quiche was an abomination. No way it wasn't made days prior and microwaved. Very hard to eat, but the menu is starved for other options. I enjoyed the Light & Stormy adaptogenic mocktail thoroughly, but $20 for a non alcoholic beverage is still insane to me. At night, this place stuns. Friendly staff..

We came to this bar to check it out and I wasn't at all disappointed. The ambiance is beautiful, there's plenty of seating and the crowd was fun. Our bartender was attentive and knowledgeable. We had two rounds of drinks and they were delicious! Throughout the menu there are many different types of drinks. I had the p* martini and the passionfruit mojito, both were well crafted. We stayed for trivia and it was so much fun! It helps we came in third for one round but also the atmosphere was so fun and welcoming.

My favorite bar in WeHo. Great drinks, cute and friendly bartenders, and super fun trivia and bingo nights.

I've never had a bad cocktail here. I especially love the espresso martinis! It's always nice to sit on the banquettes, and depending on the night, you might make some new friends if it's crowded. Service is always quick, too. A reliable cocktail spot in the neighborhood for sure!

The place is nice and clean. Maybe I was here not in the best moment, because they had 2 parties at the same time. Had only 1 Margarita and... was kinda upset. Maybe I am too picky, but I wasn't ready for such a strong tequila taste. But! The cocktail lasted about an hour or so. So, it might be a good option for a business meeting with cocktails Service was so-so. But, as I mentioned before, they had 2 parties at the same time. So, okay. I love their restroom design. Funny and true story The main interior is not so fresh and fancy as on the pics, but fine. Not sure that I will be back here. Especially because of the on-street parking and lack of parking lots.

It's such a shame they took Daniel Berilla off trivia night. I never go out but I loved going to support him and the bar. Not sure what happened but he was the best part of trivia night.

Such a vibe. I didn't know it was a gay bar but I would most definitely come back. The drinks were really good and our sever was extremely attentive.

The OR Bar is extraordinary entity and truly personifies surviving an entire global pandemic with style. Gold Coast on the edge of West Hollywood has always to me book ended both parts of boystown with the grit of Motherload. But. Not. Any. More. Or Ever again, honey. This diamond in the rough is polished and ready to gleam! Its interior could not be more upgraded and beautiful and harkens back to a Helmut Newton era of the 1970s Halston era in every possible way. The never-ending complex chandelier of gemstones and jewels is devastatingly dreamy and painstakingly beautiful. Phenomenal artists were obsessed with this place and it shows. There are great people who work here from the servers to bartenders to the very very special Constance Cooper. Constance is more than a maître D she is the D.J. of your evening. It's important to note they have very special hours too and are open in daytimes too so check after waking up as this is a perfect spot to start the party back up again! As a local since 2007, I am so happy to have rediscovered Gold Coast in this era as ar and so happy about their new approval for a back patio for all of us to enjoy for years to come. The OR Bar like most things in West Hollywood is 'a survivor and it's gonna make it!'

OR is one of my fave places. Omar and Darren are always the best. I've come here for coffee or do some work, a casual day out, or a chill evening situation. Love coming here for Sunday Funday but it's been a while. Service and all staff is always great overall. Even front of house and Disco are great people to just chat with,

UNASSUMING ON THE OUTSIDE, STUNNING ON THE INSIDE PROS-------- Ambiance: The decor, the vibes, the opulence, the glamour...immaculate. Such a cool space to go grab a bite and drink with some friends to talk and catch up. We came on a Thursday evening with no problem finding a spot to sit at. Drinks: All the drinks were delicious, from the cocktails to the mocktails, nothing was a let down. Music: I may be old, but it was so refreshing to be at a bar with good at a reasonable volume so we could talk. And the disco tunes from across the decades were amazing CONS------- Nothing!

That said, the wine list is so strong you could throw a dart and land well every time. The food complements the experience beautifully. Order a pizza and a charcuterie board and let them do their work alongside the wine. Unfortunately, I think the vibe is completely off with this type of food, and I think it's hurting their customer base (I.e, there's a sports watching day, and live DJ?, but the food is definitely more for upscale vibes). I also didn't know they have a rotating menu with different chefs, so when I came in craving for something like steak frites and find out the don't have it even though their sample menu lists it on their website, it kind of throws my mood a little. Moreover, their wine list is not extensive considering it's a wine bar, and wine mentioned in their name :) Anyways I've digressed. With this special menu, I ordered the scallop tostada and maitake taco. The scallops were very fresh, and it was a very well balanced dish. I would totally order this again! The maitake mushroom was exploding with flavors, though I find the sauce a little too salty for my taste. If I came here just for food, I'd come back and try new things!

The staff is well-dressed, well-trained, and genuinely friendly; the host on duty, Bella, tended to us during our short wait, keeping us engaged and getting us seated just as soon as she could. The decor blends spartan industrial chic with dark wood accents that tempter what might be a cold environment, making it inviting and comfortable. Our server, Diego, got right to us, answered menu questions with good humor, and convinced the chef to make my wife a dinner-time dish when he discovered her first selection had run out. Bread service (on request) was artisan sourdough, hot from the oven, served with rich butter and a tiny mound of salt. Simple and very tasty. My wife's Cacio e Pepe was, by her estimation, the very best she's ever had. The al dente pasta was coated in a sharp Parmesan that was keenly offset by the sweetness of a Tomato Jam served on the side. A very well-balanced and satisfying bite. For my own part, the Quiche Lorraine was buttery and rich, and brimming with bacon and cheese. The lightly dressed salad alongside was a perfect foil, cutting the sharpness nicely. I must also mention that the folks next to us had a table full of yummy-looking, yummy-smelling food, from a cheese and charcuterie board to pizza, an omelet and beautifully prepared veggies. That was so good, but there's only 4 slices for about $21. It's dressed in a ponzu yuzu sauce. It was so good that we ended up pouring the left over sauce on to our Tuna Tostada. Both items were fresh and I could not taste any fishiness. We also ordered the Mushroom Risotto and Cacio e Pepe. I thought the risotto was good, but the rice was definitely undercooked. I would have said something, but we didn't have much time left. The pasta reminded me of Mac n Cheese. I thought it was way too salty and didn't really do it for me.
