    Whiskey sours

Stumbled upon this newer bar on a night out in WeHo and was intrigued by the aesthetic and music. They were doing a free "shot" with each drink order that was more of a strong mixed drink but delicious nonetheless. They don't take orders from their cocktail menu at night so I got a whiskey sour which was good and reasonably priced. We sat at the tables outside and had a great time! It's a nice place to get a breath of air when you're looking for something less crowded or slightly more femme friendly in WeHo.

I guess it must be a trend for pop stars of a certain professional maturity and shall we say, a certain proclivity, to invest their royalties into opening new WeHo bars. Lance Bass did it with the abysmal Heart WeHo (review: https://yelp.to/722ZHRybDC), and now Adam Lambert and Roger Taylor of Queen have opened this spot between Bayou and Salt & Straw. Jamie W and I made it in here during its soft opening at WeHo PRIDE. Although we saw the beginning of a tropical theme, it was still a work in progress, but the attitude from the staff was enthusiastically positive and the cocktails were just fine, which was a lot more than what I can say about Heart WeHo. I had the $14 Conciere Tequila Gold over ice (photo: https://yelp.to/mZec-o-Mgw), while Jamie had a $16 Margarita (photo: https://yelp.to/mcIj4imt5v). A tad pricey but forgivable. We'll be back, I'm sure. DRINKS - 4 stars...pricey but potent AMBIANCE - 3.5 stars...a work in progress SERVICE - 4.5 stars...genuine enthusiasm here TOTAL - 4 stars...definite promise here...good luck, Adam and Roger RELATED - Exploring WeHo? Happy hour until 8pm!!

We were in the area the Friday of Weho pride weekend and decided to stop in for a pre-concert drink. This was the only happy hour that went until 8pm so it was a no brainer. They also had 2 extremely friendly people who welcomed us in and our drinks came quickly. I was shocked that in comparison to the other bars, this one was pretty quiet. I spoke to the manager and he mentioned they took over the Saint Felix's spot back in November and hoping to get more traction soon. Though the restaurant/bar itself if pretty small, I love their quaint outdoor patio, the interior decor is classy and best of all the restrooms were really nice and clean. I had such a good feeling about this place that I ended up going back 2 days later with some friends to hang during the pride parade - they are in such a good location, right by Santa Monica and Robertson 2 doors down from Salt and Straw. It's a good feeling when you head back to a place and they remember you. This time we decided to try some of their appetizers and everything was absolutely delicious. We tried their wings - very good. Their fries were deep fried in a unique way, maybe with some sort of batter?!? I forgot what else we tried but the overall consensus was thumbs up on everything we had. I just googled the restaurant and saw that Adam Lambert is part owner of this restaurant, I had no clue! It's funny we decided to stop in for a drink right before we went to the outloud concert he was performing in. What a small world! Parking in the area is extremely tough but totally doable if you drive around and read all the street signs. Or to make it easier, I always suggest talking a lyft to Weho, it'll make life easier and you can drink as much as you'd like!

Really great vibe with a great lemon drop. Really enjoyed the chips and salsa too! Very fresh.

Great new brunch spot! Super cute indoor/outdoor dining spaces. Food was amazing, loved everything we ordered. A good mix of America/Mexican dishes. Good prices too during the brunch hours. Service was great, our server was so sweet, he made it a great experience. Can't wait to come back!

So far I think this bar is a great addition to the rainbow district of West Hollywood. The aesthetic is jungle/tropical and it is high energy with the DJ they have spinning.

Traveled about an hour from where I was staying in Huntington Beach... I believe there was a drag show that night, not 100% sure; either way, you know the vibes. It's still WeHo's beloved gayest gay bar today. $40.00 was spent on 2 drinks, which is reasonable if you need a drink to get the edge off. Both service and pricing are standard for Weho nightlife. There's a DJ, men dancing on stage, the whole nine. There is also outdoor seating, and parking is always a nightmare. This isn't a place you stumble upon; planning a visit is a must. ;)

I would've preferred drinks on the sweeter side. I visited around 11pm on a Saturday and it was free cover. The interior was full of ornate decor and different areas to hangout/dance in. They have dancers all around the club you can give dollar bills to. All the people there seemed generally nice. I also liked the music selection played there as they played a lot of pop hits from early 2000s to present day. A solid club for a night out in WeHo.

The service is sensational and the drinks are gay bar standard with that little extra you just can't get at many other spots. Good patio space, upper deck area and room, though during pride, weekends, holidays and special occasions it is filled to the brim, like those great drink pours. The tunes are iconic. DJ Tony G drop keep dropping those beats!!! And they show music videos on their screens. Mother Lode is the oldest operating gay bar in West Hollywood, serving up the LGBTQ+ community and all since 1979. And after nearly 50 years of success they continue to thrive 7 days a week from 3PM until 2AM It's all about the good vibes and good times... Some themed nights like their Bubble Pop, Caballero (no recordings or videos, just you) and Flashback Mondays. I don't believe they still have karaoke nights here, I could be wrong. Very limited seating with a chair here or there and some benches against the upper deck. Restrooms are gendered but move pretty quickly and are typically still clean. While WeHo is all forms of pup friendly. Our four legged friends aren't allowed for many reasons. There's absolutely zero room on busy nights and we wouldn't want them to hurt themselves or get hurt navigating through the day/afternoon or night here. Local street, garage and some lot parking available in the area, mostly metered, time restricted or paid, especially at night. It's also a LBGTQ+ friendly leather bar and happens to be one of the favorite spots of beloved Yelp SFV AMB Quintin. I stopped here on a whim with some friends on our way home from a night out. We didn't want the fun to end, so one last night cap was in order. Parking is a bit difficult, but we managed to snag a spot. There is a big bar in the center if the room and a smaller bar out on the patio. There are also two pool tables and a stage for various events. My friends ordered beer and I kept it simple with a vodka soda. They don't serve food but the bartender said outside eats are welcomed. The DJ was bouncing and the staff & patrons were friendly and welcoming. I like the vibe here and would come back. Pool table was already utilized which seemed to always be the case. There were a couple of people inside along the bar area but majority was on the outdoor patio. It was somewhat busy but nothing compared to how this place can be. Especially when there's an event. Drinks are always a good price. We got a pitcher of beer which had a cooling pack inside. The question of the night was, will this thing take up the amount of glasses we could get out of the pitcher...lol... I've been a good amount of time but honestly don't know if they have a dance floor or not. We always spend time on the patio. There's 2 restroom, one with the toilet which the line can get crazy. The other is a communal one where it tends to be more easily accessible. It's cash only for drinks. Service has always been good and the crowds always fun.
