Located right in the Hmart plaza, it's a convenient place to do some karaoke. It's closer to campuses than Duluth. They do private rooms with some packages, and they have liquor and food (pricier side). We got the standard suit that fits up to 6 people. Originally it's $45 for an hour, but they recently started doing 50% Mondays and Tuesdays. They have strict rules like you cant bring water bottles in unless you wanna pay $7 per bottle or buy water from them for $12 a bottle. The place is decorated very well and chicly. It has a Chinese owner so they're a bit biased to what songs they have up to date. You can either search by artist or song and can queue up songs. They don't grade your singing, but you can turn on the backing vocals. They provide a tambourine, and you can adjust the light settings. The security guy outside was chill and nice. I didn't feel welcomed by the lady handling the front desk, monotone, blunt, and irritated (basically didn't give a fun vibe which is such a shame because KAROAKE is such a fun activity!). If you ever have a work event, I think this place is worth a try but not anywhere near my go to places.

First time here and I'm already ready to go back! Came here for my birthday and we had a blast in the karaoke room. The rooms are super cute and depending on the room you book it has its own private bathroom. The food is as good except the oysters we could have did without. The service was okay. I only say okay because there were a few hiccups. We were told that we would need to spend $200 all together but we could all be separated but that was not the case and we all had to be on 1 check. Then we asked our server to cut us off at $200 so we can start our own checked but she went in and sent in the order anyway. Other than that hiccup I would definitely go again.

Convenient location, right off of Hwy 285, in the plaza with H-Mart and Brandsmart. We came here to celebrate my daughter's undergrad commencement service. This place is lit! Feels like an immediate vibe soon as you walk in the door. The sound system is top tier, the music selection and features to enhance your selections is a nice bonus. The food and drinks were good. The prices for food and drinks are severely elevated. Because it was a celebratory moment, I didn't care. This isn't a place I will visit often just to have something to do. Our server was a lil lazy. She wasn't as present as she should have been but probably because she knew a nice sum of gratuities were already included on the bill and she didn't have to work for it. We all had a great time. I would come here again.

I didn't expect to be out on a Wednesday night, let alone in Christmas pajamas, but Mic's Karaoke had other plans and I'm glad it did. The night started with good drinks, great wings, and an atmosphere that immediately sets the tone. From the moment we walked in, the energy was high, welcoming, and fun without feeling forced. Karaoke nights here aren't about perfection; they're about participation, confidence, and having a good time and the crowd fully understood the assignment. We were there celebrating a birthday, and the experience delivered across the board: strong drinks, solid food, great music, and an engaged crowd that made it easy to stay longer than planned. For a Wednesday night, the vibe had no business being that good. By the end of the night, we were tired, hoarse, and smiling exactly how a karaoke night should end. If you're looking for a spot with personality, good wings, good drinks, and a lively karaoke scene that doesn't feel stiff or pretentious, Mic's Karaoke is worth the visit even on a weeknight.

Such a fun experience! We went for a Christmas outing with about 8 of us, and we had such a blast. It was $75 I believe for two hours and was such a vibe. The rooms are nicely decked out with gold doors and they have a full service bar in front as well as you can order drinks and food while there. I loved the selection of music, you could pick from Spotify, to YouTube and I really liked that they gave us two mics. Definitely meant for a fun night out with friends or a team building experience like us!

Every month a few coworkers and I have a monthly girl's activity. This time we chose to do karaoke. Mics Karaoke is a new spot located in a growing and upcoming shopping center next to Brands Mart. The decor is fun and flashy. The staff was accommodating and checked on us regularly. The food was amazing! I had the macaroni and lemon pepper wings. My friends had the french fries and they were a hit as well. My only issue is that the music selection was VERY limited. They have a long way to go to satisfy customer's versatile music tastes. Other than that Mics was a fun experience and I recommend it for friends and family.

AMAZING experience. My sisters birthday and they offered her this awesome gift. We have been coming for a few Birthdays now and it was a great NIGHT!!!

Boy did we have a time here! Renee was an amazing host giving us the run down on all the available functions and food options. The building gives night club vibes with a bar greeting you as soon as you come in. The cute room we were placed in had locker for extra storage and a tambourine for spirit. There was a wide selection of songs the only problem was searching for artists and songs that wouldn't pop up. The room stayed plenty cool with all the drinks we had. The hookah was packing a punch we tried peach and vanilla, it lasted our visit. Food was pretty good with a wide selection. Clean bathrooms with extra goodies in case you forgot something. Wheat really got me was the bouncer as the door that was not only a fire vibe but got me come back in a rap a whole Nicki song. Myself and the girls enjoyed a night out to let loose and have a time. Highly recommended to anyone in the area

My first time at MICS for a birthday was a fun experience! They had a lot of different food and drinks options, they decorated the room for my friend's birthday, and brought out the cake (we brought our own) with a sign and sparklers later in the evening. The service was good, but since it is so loud in there I guess there was some miscommunication in the food order and we ended up with a giant order of spring roll bites, but they were all delicious. I believe they charge by the hour, and charges for drinks were only allowed on one card, no separate checks. Food, however, could be on separate checks. Also, there is a minimum $200 spending fee. The music selection was great, you just search for karaoke versions of the song you want to sing on their iPad in the room. I recommend the Yuzu cocktail (citrus sweet), the Wang Zai (creamy and sweet), and the Blacker the Berry (sweet and bubbly, but stronger alcohol flavor than the other 2) cocktails! We also had the spinach artichoke dip, street corn, and the 4 burgers and fries combo. Overall, my first time experience was very fun, it was very different than my expectations for a karaoke room! It was a bit pricey especially with the $200 minimum spending, so I'd keep that in mind before going again.

So it's a really dope karaoke bar in a shopping center in doraville. You have to go upstairs but you really can miss it because it's a huge blue sign that lets you know where it is. Depending on what time of night you go, parking may be an issue because there's a lot in that shopping area so just keep that in mind. You'll come in and there's an area where they have the bar which is right in front of the door. You can't miss it. They have a lot of karaoke rooms so they have to put the borrow over. They can and it's right in front when you walk in so you can get a drink before you go to your room. The place itself looks really good. It's decorated very well and it's super aesthetically pleasing. The outside and the inside also look really good. It's not just when you walk in the lobby and when you walk in the hallway, the inside of the rooms are very well kept. I went for a birthday party and we had a room for several hours and we had a good time. There were a couple times where a technology was not working like it should so we have to put it on pause but overall it worked very well. The Stafford was super cool and they actually party with us a little bit too. The food that we had, was awesome. I have no issue with that! We were there for hours so everybody did get hungry but whatever they brought out, even though it might have been a little overpriced, it was really good. Tacos - Now the tacos were really good. They were overly stuffed, they had the right about a feelings plus the right amount of flavor! Fries - The fries, they were really really good, they came out crispy and everything. And they were actually pretty big. It wasn't like shoestring fries or anything like that. You didn't need any ketchup because it were already well seasoned. Chicken wings - The chicken wings were fire. They were really meaty and a really good size and they sauced them all the way up. I tried the teriyaki and I tried the hot and both of them were really good. Baked wings - The baked wings, you didn't really see these right out the gate on the menu but somebody at the party ordered it and I tried it and it was really good. Now I would have gotten this over to regular fried wings honestly LOL. The baked wings came with the wings on a bed of rice. It also had some gravy with it. Now everything worked really well, the gravy or super flavorful, the wings are very tender, and the rice helped it along. Overall this was a really really good time. I would go back.0

We had a blast! The security guard honestly sold us when he gave us a tour and this place was not to be missed! It's absolutely gorgeous on the inside, and each private room has its own unique character. The sound systems they have in each room are NOT messing around, they sound fantastic! The drinks were good, I wouldn't say they were the best I've had, but the overall vibe of the venue is great. This place would be great for company get togethers or holiday parties!

I went to this place one night with my boyfriend and our 2 year old son and I was not ready to have that much fun lol! When we first arrived the guy and girl at the front desk were so pleasant, they were friendly and kind. We got a private room for 2 hours and had so much fun. We got a couple of drinks and just vibed. The decor in the place is beautiful, you can take so many cool pictures here and they even have hookah. I will absolutely be returning! The only thing is that this place is expensive, we paid $140 for 2 hours in a private room and a total of 4 drinks and this was on half off karaoke night so tread lightly. Overall great experience!

    Is there an age restriction?

No but you have to have id to drink

Are there romanized lyrics for foreign songs? Like for instance, I love singing k-pop songs but I can't read korean, so I was wondering if there's lyrics with the roman/english alphabet.

Unfortunately, for Asian karaoke machine these days... due to competition among Asian karaoke, they are utilizing a cheap machinery... therefore, to answer your question, no.. they do not have English translation for it

What is the rate per person? Or is it by hour? If so, what's the hourly rate?

    35/hour 5 people or under. 45/hour over 5 people. Weekends require a $100 deposit.

Can someone give me a little rundown of hip-hop/r&b type of songs they have in the selection? Curious if it's worth going for my birthday if we can't sing songs we want.

They have some R&B and hip hop songs to choose from mostly throwbacks (early 00s-2015 or so) with major artist like drake, lil Wayne, Nikki Minaj, Rihanna, Beyoncé. you probably won't find the latest radio hits tho

    Do they do Hookah?

No but Impulse Lounge and Karaoke do and they have better service and better drink prices.

Do they have hip hop & R&B music?

Yes not much but yes the main stream ones for sure

    Do they have bts songs?

    Yes

What is the food and drink minimum?

$68 only on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday

Can you bring in outside food? Like for instance a cake for a birthday celebration...

No outside drink or food. But you can bring a birthday cake. 😊

Is it bring your own bottle?

No, but they offer bottle service

Do u have to make a reservation in order to get a room?

    Highly recommended

    Is it kid friendly?

They are private rooms so I suppose so. There is a food/drink minimum and there are non alcoholic options.

This trip was actually our first time visiting without him so we were a little lost about what to do next. LOL. We had gone to a cafe earlier in the day but it was still too early for dinner so we kept searching for something interesting to do. That's when my husband found Distillery of Modern Art. I wasn't really in the mood for drinking during the day so I wasn't sure at first but I'm so glad we went! We had never heard of a combination of a distillery and an art gallery before which immediately caught our attention. It looked like the space is used for a variety of events as well. Since we visited during Mother's Day weekend, there was a flower arrangement workshop happening in one of the rooms when we arrived. The bar area was very spacious with plenty of seating and since it was our first visit, we decided to sit at the bar. The bartender was incredibly knowledgeable and took the time to explain the different liquors they produce. My husband sampled their rye whiskey, gin, and Amaro Peach. I'm usually not much of a gin fan but theirs was exceptionally smooth and I actually enjoyed it. Amaro tends to be quite bitter but their Amaro Peach had a really nice balance of bitterness and sweetness. I ordered the Ocean Eyes cocktail which features their Amaro Peach and it was excellent. The bartender also made his own special version of a classic cocktail for my husband (I forgot the name!) and he really enjoyed it. What stood out most was how friendly and passionate the bartender was. You could tell he genuinely loves what he does and honestly, he made the experience even more enjoyable for us. We had such a great visit that my husband ended up bringing home bottles of their gin and Amaro Peach. We'll definitely be back the next time we're in Atlanta!

The venue is very open and was relatively empty since we arrived shortly after it opened. I love the indoor seating concept with plenty of couches, movable chairs, tables near the open-area space and smaller sections for 2-4 people tucked away along the wall. The DJ was already doing his thing and the bartenders remained busy. As someone who wasn't interested in the drinks, I appreciate that there was a self-serve water cooler in the center of the room. The Jenga and jumbo Uno cards were a hit!!!! It was so nice to have these options available. And as others mentioned, the large screen was playing a classic movie - which we could still see from inside. I didn't stay long and this was a Sunday night but the parking lot was much busier when I left. I imagine the outdoor space gets crowded later in the evening as well. The DJ was just okay - not my cup of tea - but folks seemed to be enjoying themselves. I can definitely see why this place is popular. Although parking is less than desirable, it is not unreasonable. The venue is well-lit and easy to move around. The crowd was diverse, with various ages and backgrounds represented. And depending on the DJ, this would be a great place for meeting with friends, date night or just zoning out to some wonderful music ... especially on a beautiful night. If you're in the mood for something different AND don't mind the trek to Chamblee, check it out.

Still, our server was fantastic -- attentive, helpful, and made the night smooth. We came for the famous Piraye Kebab Tray. At first, we were looking at the $165 option (Chef Tray + 1 Meze Board + Shepherd Salad + 4 Orders of Piraye Kebab with rice, all baked inside the dough). When we mentioned the price, our server kindly told us about the smaller 2-order option for $85 -- perfect! And let me tell you, Lord above, when I say I would do some things to eat this food again... words cannot describe how incredible it was. It has been three days since, and I'm still thinking about it. I even posted it on my stories, and over 10 people have messaged me asking about it. Chef Tray: Overflowing with juicy, flavorful meat, perfectly seasoned rice with chickpeas (I swear it was made with veal stock), and that roasted pepper and cheese-stuffed dough on top -- divine. Meze Board: The hummus was creamy and rich, paired perfectly with fresh pita. Shepherd Salad: Fresh, crisp, and balanced. My only small regret was that our server misunderstood when we asked for the dough crust to-go -- I realized the next day it wasn't packed up. Honestly though, I couldn't even be upset, because the food was just that good. For drinks and dessert: Turkish Coffee - small but strong, beautifully presented with a piece of Turkish delight on the side that was everything I had ever imagined a Turkish sweet to be: chewy, fragrant, and delicately sweet. Künefe - a dream come true! A warm, crunchy pastry with gooey melted cheese inside, topped with sweet syrup and pistachios. It was rich, nutty, and sweet without being overwhelming -- the perfect ending. Turkish Martini - decent, but not nearly as memorable as the food. All together, including tip, it was about $140. For the amount and quality of food, the attentive service, and the one-of-a-kind experience, it was absolutely worth every single cent. Piraye Kitchen isn't just dinner -- it's an experience. This is a must-try-before-you-die type of place. Oh, and happy birthday, Amy!

So this spot has parking available on the street and in the parking structure not too far across the street. But it's all free so it's not a big deal. But you basically have to park on the side street which is not an issue. They have a pretty good wine selection, and the bar looks really good and very well kept. When we got there? We decided at a table and we were greeted immediately. It was super cool, they kept checking on us and make sure we were okay. Customer service was top notch. Mosaic smash burger - The burger was pretty good. It wasn't super big but it had a pretty good flavor to it. Chicken wings (k pub) - The chicken wings were good. They were really big and you got a lot of them. You know how you go to some place and you get those little wingdings, this wasn't that! You got very Hardy and meaty wings. And for the price it was pretty good too. Crispy calamari - was also decent. The sauce that they had the calamari with was very sweet and savory and it was very tasty overall. Pub fries - The pub fries were okay. They were just regular fries to me. But The fact that they had the dipping sauce on them different, but they were just regular fries. Overall, this is a pretty decent spot, it's a neighborhood bar type of situation. You'll see a lot of locals there because of where it's located at. If you want to try something good and have a decent environment and maybe watching TV on with a game on, this might be a decent spot to check out.

We waited as instructed, but never received any text or update. What made the experience even more upsetting was how we were treated when we arrived with our service animal. Instead of simply following the ADA guidelines, it felt like the staff were looking for reasons to deny us entry. They asked multiple questions and ultimately assumed our service animal was an emotional support animal (ESA), even though that was not the case. Based on that incorrect assumption, they denied us service. We chose to leave politely rather than argue, but it was an embarrassing and frustrating experience. There were no signs posted indicating any restrictions regarding service animals, and legitimate service animals are protected under federal law. If you have a disability and rely on a service animal, I would not recommend this restaurant based on our experience. We left feeling disrespected and disappointed by how the situation was handled.

Customer Service-From the hostess stand to the bar, waiter, and management, I give it a 10/10! Everyone was friendly, respectful and accommodating without question. My waiter was Will, and he showed the utmost level of outstanding customer service the entire visit! He gave wonderful recommendations regarding the menu, and he checked on us with just the right amount of consistency. He was friendly, personable, and kind! He genuinely wanted to make sure that the experience was memorable and it showed brightly & authentically! Food-I had the Fried Salmon Bites, Traditional Waffles & Fried Lobster, and Peach Cobbler. It was all cooked to perfection with such flavor! I had a lovely Wild berry drink that was very delicious. There was no wait, no crazy lines, and no pretentiousness. I came in on a Saturday for a 6:15 PM reservation for a party of four. I arrived first on time and my first guest arrived at 6:20 PM. I was told I had to wait till the rest of my party arrived. I set at the bar while waiting for the rest of our party. My friend approached the hostess stand to ask if we could be seated as a party of two . Also, advised the Mexican girl that it will be only 3 but, we don't have to wait for her cause she's not gonna be eating since we're on a time schedule and was attending an event. The hostess was very rude and dismissive, stating "that's not how it works" in an unprofessional tone. Later, another hostess came over and said our reservation had "run over" at 6:35 PM, even though we were already in the restaurant before our reservation time window had passed and there were clearly open tables available. The restaurant wasn't packed at all. When we asked again about a table for two, we were told we could either sit at the bar or wait. The interaction felt very unwelcoming and unprofessional. We told the hostess we wanted a table for two to sit down and eat . The black hostess said , so you want to stay at the bar or you want a table . I said a table. She said , the bar ‍I said no a table. She then said that they could refuse service if we had an attitude, which was not the case . I simply answered her question by saying no . Told her I didn't know that saying no is me having an attitude. At that point, we chose to leave and not spend our money there due to the poor customer service and the rudeness of the hostess. Overall, the staff we interacted with on June 20th at 6:15 PM were rude and unprofessional and clearly need better customer service training. Based on this experience, I understand why there are so many negative reviews.

Atrocious experience this Saturday 4/25/26…read more We were actually over at sweet hut around 9pm and decided to check out Sapphire Karaoke since they were close by. At 9:26pm, we sent 2 people from our group of 6 to go by Sapphire to see if they had availability for us. The manager told them "yes, we will have a room in 5 minutes" so the rest of our group showed up excited and ready to karaoke. We waiting patiently 10-15 minutes and the manager came by again with "I'm sorry but someone messed up reservations and we won't have a room until 10pm". It was 9:44 pm at this point. The manager could tell we were about to leave and she comes back and says "oh good news, this group is checking out now. I'll have a room ready in 10 minutes". 2 from our group couldn't wait longer so they left. The rest of us decided to wait and got 2 bottles of Soju. It's $15 a bottle and THEY WILL CHARGE YOU A NON OPTIONAL GRATUITY so keep that in mind if you want to leave a tip, it's additional. Our total for the soju ended up averaging $20 a bottle. I asked the manager at 10pm what's going on and she just cuts me off and keeps walking with a "hold on". 10:15pm rolls around and the manager was no where to be seen. At this point we have been waiting 45 minutes with no updates when the original wait quote was FIVE minutes. We saw 3-4 parties come in and get seated. I'm not sure what kind of business they're trying to run but we sure felt BAMBOOZLED out of $50 for 2 bottles of soju and wasted 45 minutes of our time. They clearly have to figure out their scheduling/reservation system if the staff are making multiple errors. Don't lie to patrons that you have a room available when you don't. This felt like the equivalent of an overbooked/oversold flight and they were hoping they could get more clients to cover no shows- at least be honest and say we were on a waitlist.

I highly recommend coming on a weekday to save money and the place is empty so you can run around the place lol. Also, they were nice enough to do something for my birthday; they brought me a fruit platters in a decorated bird cage. They were so nice for doing that. They were also patient since we didn't know we couldn't bring food from outside so they just politely told us that outside food is not allowed. Otherwise, the only downside is their systems are challenging to navigate and not many songs are in their actual system so most of the time we had to use YouTube and search karaoke videos and sing from there.
