My retired Usmc husband and I decided to purchase a car for our daughter's graduation present. We found her a great used vehicle however it was located in another state. We made contact with Mid America and paid full price to have the vehicle transported to our home state of Idaho. The online listing stated Veteran friendly, multi point inspection and had pictures of the vehicle with its top down and in great shape. Received car and guess what! The convertible top won't open. Immediately contacted Jeremy Sparks MGR and he sent us an email that he would have a resolution to our issue. Well a week went by and he never reached back out. So I called him and actually spoke to him on the phone where he said they would try to get to the bottom of this issue. Unique situation since we are in another state. That was a month ago. I've called weekly and he is not responding to any of my messages. Needless to say, I should've never done business out of state. If it sounds too good to be true it probably isn't . This dealerships took our money and sold us a faulty vehicle knowing full well the car's convertible top didn't work. Would hate to see how they treat the average customer since they don't care about their Vets. Been dealing with this is May. The car has been parked since May!!! What a memory for our new graduate. She gets to look at her convertible but cannot drive it. Mid American has failed Veteran families and out of state Customers. They should be ashamed of themselves. read more

Dealership scams anyone they can. Not willing to work with you to make things right and will just run circles around you trying to get you to go away. Fake reviews on Google, look at the negative reviews. It's shocking how many people have been screwed by this place. read more

BEWARE! This is by far the worse experience that I've had in purchasing a car. Test drove the car and there was no issues. Heat, engine, performance... no issues at all. I purchased the car, received the car with an eighth of gas in the tank, and after driving it off the lot for 20 mins to my destination not doing anything abnormal the heat never kicked in and not making any contact or collision, I noticed a trail of red fluid coming from underneath the car. Devastated, I contacted the salesman named Lonny and notified him of the issue and he downplayed the situation as if it was nothing major and told me to check this and check that and told me they would look at it when I come in for the detail that was scheduled that next Monday or Tuesday. He also said to me " As you know I text you almost immediately when it arrived so we never had time to send it out for inspection as we normally do." Me knowing nothing about cars, other than how to put gas in and any other simple fluid I couldn't identify what the issue or why the fluid was leaking and it was obviously coolant. So when I told him I didn't know much about cars he treated me like I was dumb as ask me if I even knew if it was coming from my car. Well yea Lonny, of course I can determine that. I told him I was positive and his response was " With that red tint it's probably coolant, power steering fluid or transmission fluid. Quite possible there is a crack in a line or hose." That was his last response and I never wrote him back because at this point he wasn't giving me a solution. So in the morning I contacted a gentleman by the name of PD. Seem like a nice guy so that is who I continued to discuss everything with moving forward. Took the car back, met up with PD. We discussed what was going on. I proceeded to tell him the gas was low, he responded it was on a quarter and that he seen it and it was on a quarter (I took a picture of the dashboard because I wanted him to be made aware of the lights on the dashboard and the level of gas and it was an eighth). I told him that the FCW/ACC light was on, as well as the heating and fluid issue. His exact words were "I am not sure if you've had a dodge but when one light comes on with an issue it may trigger another and not even be an issue." With his reassurance I gave him the vehicle. Pick it up and it is detailed, no lights, performance good, engine good no issue at all. A few days later the same light comes on and the message about the FCC/ACC come on the message board but it comes and goes so I'm thinking it's a minor issue still as he mentioned and it'll go away. Comes and goes comes, and goes then the car wouldn't allow me to put it in cruise control so I call him and let him know the light that we discussed is back on. So he tells me on a Thursday to bring it in on Monday or Tuesday so he can have a tech look at it. A week goes by and I asked for the status. He tells me he will get back with me tomorrow after the tech wraps up his diagnosis. He forgets to let me know in the morning so I asked the status again and he calls me. He tells me that it could be two things either the camera has been bumped or it may need to be replaced. I say ok. He says what would you like for me to do? I said well I want to get it fixed. He responds letting me know they won't cover the cost. I say ok very unsatisfied. He then tells me he can do me a favor and get me a discount on the labor and that it would be. 15-30% off the labor. I say ok agree to it. He told me the guy named Dan was out at the moment and I asked him to ask him about a loaner. He tells me he will ask. That night I sent him a text message after thinking about my experience as a customer. Telling him I know he doesn't care because he isn't going to pay for the repair but explained how I brought a car for $37,500 and I shouldn't have to pay for repairs this soon especially if we discussed the issue when the car was still on his lot. I told him to just let me know what he says in the morning. So he calls in the morning and tells me that Dan is unavailable at the moment and is still going to get back to him about the rental but he read my message. He told me that he did care and he told me how many years the car lot existed (irrelevant). He told me they drove it 200 miles from Louisville and they had no issues (Louisville isn't 200 miles from Milford, OH). So I began to feel blamed. He then proceeded to tell me a story about some guy that purchased a BMW for $137,000 and after he drove off the lot he had to return it to the dealership. He told me he was explaining that to me to let me know it doesn't matter the value of the car. Never understood the moral of the story so I cut him short, what do I need to do because you aren't trying to help. That's not helping. Do not trust this dealership. You can't trust them to not cover-up major repairs that might be wrong with your new purchase. The truck I bought had 12,000 dollars of unreported repairs needed within weeks of my purchase. Not a dam bit of help from this dealership. Run don't walk away from this dealership. read more

I don't even want to give them ONE star! My husband bought a truck here and Put a large down payment on. We had it for a week - 2 and it ran. (Wow great!) Then it totally went to crap. Broke down on the highway TWICE in one week. Had to get it towed that was 3 weeks ago... It is still sitting in our driveway not running. My husband has worked on this truck from the time he wakes up til the time he goes to bed on the weekends just to get this thing running again! He's had friends come over and look at it with him during the week after work... He's spent almost $2K of brand new parts to get it running. Just when you think you fixed the problem, something else goes wrong. I think the owner of the company could do more for the customers instead of selling garbage off the lot to people who enjoy their vehicle for a whole few weeks. I spoke to multiple customers and they had the same exact issue. Really sad!!! This puts a lot of stress on families. But it's all about the money right? You got our money so who cares now!? Went there to buy my first car (a 2012 Mustang, up front cash, so not sure how they handle other things like credit). They didn't try to upsell, or offer me a bunch of stuff I didn't need. They let us test drive the car, and we settled on a price we both found fair. I understand that the car has its faults and I'm prepared to deal with it if that comes to be, since I want to own this car forever. However, I heard only great things about this place on other sites regarding cars, so it'll probably last for a good long while (brakes just need changing as with many used cars). Also, the inside of the place is nice. They had this Chevy book that I really enjoyed looking through while waiting. read more
