Very disappointing service. Had to take my car back for 2 service issues that were supposedly repaired 10 days ago. After waiting 2 1/2 hours, the young lady called my cell, as she must have forgot she lead to me their waiting area. Anyway, she tried to say I now needed a window motor for a different window which they never repaired before. They were also suppose to reset the steering wheel to center after an alignment but that wasn't done very well either...... This place has serious issues and needs leadership to fix. read more

Auto body repair shop is a complete joke. My wife was rear ended and progressive recommended this shop. You would imagine that a young lady bringing in a car that was in an accident that they would do the best to assist her in making sure the car is in good shape not just physically but mechanically as well. We pick the car up and immediately notice a loud clunk from the front while driving that wasn't there before the accident. We brought the car back to be told "we didn't do that, wasn't us" before they even had the keys in their hand. We didn't blame them. I was just curious as to why they didn't look over the car as she was rear ended from a dead stop and that's never good for a vehicle. He said this is a body shop I'm no mechanic take it somewhere else. He was rude and unprofessional. I said do a autopsy on the vehicle and he said it's a car not a body we don't do autopsies and I'm like OK smart ass. That's why we pay you to work on the vehicle. Just do your job. I will never buy my wife, my family, my employees or anybody a vehicle from Ford especially from a Ford Mike Castrucci I'll probably avoid the other places to consider considering I bought my Chevy truck from their other dealership. If there was a less than 1 star rating, that is what I would choose. There is not one good thing that I can say about buying or servicing a car there. When you call and try to speak with someone, you are on hold for as long as 10 minutes and then odds are you will still have to leave a message. If you go in to ask questions, no one will wait on you. Then when you pay your bill for some ridiculous amount that includes a credit card fee and a $35.00 Misc. charge (for rags and paper floor mats), they send you an invoice for the bill you paid. Of course, when you call back about the bill you already paid, they transfer you to another voice mail. Do not go there to buy a new car or for any service or recalls! read more

I have only one car and this Dealership Ford Repair shop offers a shuttle ride home; which is nice. But then the problems begin with a serious lack of communication. Their phone number, as listed on their website, has never led to someone answering the call from their service department. I tried for hours to get an update 24 hours after silence. Finally, I figured out the best way is to call a different department and have them transfer me. But why? Why can't their service department answer direct calls? Also, why can't they call to update a customer before the end of the day? I'm carless. I have to make plans to go to work, get chores done, eat. And it isn't as simple as automatically getting a rental because of the astronomical cost to do so nowdays. All I ask for is better communication. I have the terrible feeling that my car is just sitting there in their lot for several days while I have to call into work and then fork money over for a rental. And it's the not knowing, the non-communication factor that makes it really tough to wait it out. I've seen reviews where people are left on the bubble for 10 plus days. Wife had a punctured sidewall on her escape and needed her tire replaced. They said all 4 tires need to be replaced for $1,200 and the extended coverage we purchased either doesn't exist or doesn't cover it.. They insisted they were all worn down to 6/32." Impossible, as this was her 3rd punctured tire in the 20,000 miles she's driven her lease and 2 tires had been replaced very recently. For some reason this time, they refused to honor our warranty. We took it to another dealer, and they replaced the tire free of charge with no problems. Said it was 100% covered under our warranty (which we already knew.) Very disappointing service at Milford. My daughter and I called this dealership about a brochure they sent through the mail. The brochure advertised early termination of your lease plus blue book value and 2500.00 on top of blue book value . They also promised to match your lease payment or beat it . We should've known to good to be true . The salesperson (Gary) stated oh yeah we will honor everything on that brochure . I bought a 2014 Ford Escape from them in September and the fly wheel/ring gear went bad. That's not typically a part that goes bad. Going to cost me at least $1500 to fix. I called the dealership for advice on the issue and they were of course no help. No recalls or warranty so I'm out a car for a few months until I can save enough to fix it. I should have known this place was bad news when right before we drove off the lot I noticed the seatbelts in the back seat were broken. Just a quick note, the one star review is in no way shape or form a review of our salesperson on 11/10. If I were rating the quality of our interaction with our salesman alone this would be a 5 star review. This was not our first experience with Mike Castrucci, but it is most likely our last. The first experience would have also earned a 1 star review. The salesman in the first encounter was very unhelpful and didn't even attempt to help us buy a car. We only returned because I was rear-ended and my vehicle was towed to their facility. My husband and I purchased a vehicle from Mike Castrucci on 11/10. The vehicle was listed online as new, and included pictures of the odometer at 3 miles. We arrived to discover the vehicle was actually a courtesy vehicle with 2,700 miles. Aside from the misleading advertising we decided this was not a problem and we decided to go ahead and purchase the vehicle. When we arrived home and set up Ford Pass we discovered that the vehicle had not had an oil change on it prior to it being sold to us, there was only 50% oil life remaining. This vehicle was sold as a new vehicle and as such should have had an oil change. Quite honestly I have never purchased a vehicle, even used, that hadn't had an oil change performed. I called the dealership to inquire as to why this hadn't been done and was informed I would need an "I Owe You" document from the time of sale, or that I could use my Ford points to pay for the oil change. Overall experience, other than our salesman on 11/10, has just not been great. The oil change should have been done prior to listing the vehicle for sale. read more

So when you make an appointment for a recall, why would you not check to make sure you have the replacement part? I specifically told them the recall number and what it was for 2 weeks ago. I have always taken my 2014 fiesta here for services and rarely leave happy. After today, I will finally not be returning. First off - Went in for an oil change and tire rotation. I ended up being told every single lug nut cap on all tires needed to be replaced because every single one was swollen, which is very hard to believe that all 16 would need to be replaced at the same time because they were ALL swollen. I'm sure the reality was that maybe a couple needed to be replaced and they thought "might as well change them all." Which made what should have been a free visit turn into a $120+ visit. Secondly - I had bought new tires from them a year or 2 ago which comes with free rotations. However, I was still charged several times AFTER the tire purchase. When questioned, Ben had told us that they do not see on their computer that the rotation should be free, that I have to bring it to their attention when I check out. Therefore, when I checked out today, I told the lady, and she said that they knew and already took the rotation charge off. So why was I told that I have to be the one to point it out to them, but today they were able to see? Doesn't make sense. Every single time I come in for an oil change, I'm told I need something else. It's extremely frustrating. I'm not sure if I actually need what ever they tell me or if they're ripping me off because I'm a young girl there by myself. read more

I got a great deal on a used 2017 Ford Fusion a year and a half ago from this dealership. They ended up including a warranty and they were very professional. I took it in for a check up, it only had 60,000 miles on it and I find out it needed a new engine. Fully expected the warranty to cover it. Premiere refused to fix it because they said the "engine wasn't a lubricated part". Castrucci tried to go through Ford and they refused to cover it. I was devastated. Taylor, the young woman taking care of my case called me and said they would just foot the bill and fix it. They even covered my rental car. Unfortunately it took 3 months to fix, but they had to completely rebuild it and were most likely short staffed and backed up. Plus supply chain issues. Needless to say, Mike Castrucci Ford in Milford proved their reputation and I 100% recommend them. read more

Recently had a repair done and was quoted a price of "about $190.00." But when we arrived, we received a bill for $225.91. ($35 or 15.5% above the quote.) They broke it down for me: Labor: $153 Parts: $35.67 Tax: $14.29 Okay that's only 12.96 above the quote. I can live with that. Tax, you know. But then I noticed this "shop fee" of $22.95. (12% of the quoted price.) I asked what it was for and was told, "It covers all the things they use. You know, rags and stuff." I asked "what stuff?" They had no answer. Their only response was that I should have been told and they always tell their customers about "taxes and fees." Wrong. They do not. So, be prepared. Your bill is probably going to come to something like 10-12% more than they tell you. I've heard of this basically dishonest practice but never experienced it until now. Test drove a van that was reasonably priced. Was not really sure about it so I took it to my mechanic. He told me it would need at least $1000 worth of work. We took it back and told the salesman that we didn't want it and why. We showed him the paper that the mechanic printed out of everything that needed done and he kind of scoffed at me and told me it was a good deal anyway. He told me that he can assure us that their mechanics looked over it and it was fine. Somehow they missed the coat hanger holding something up underneath! The next day I noticed that they had raised the price $2000! Very unhappy about that. I will not be going back. I don't care how good of a "deal" it is. Brought a brand new Ford Transit conversation van from this dealer. They advertised it having 2 batteries and alternators, which would support the TV, blue ray player, but also the auto start/stop feature to save gas sitting in traffic. Just less than a year into ownership, I questioned my local ford dealer why the auto start/stop never worked. They checked the battery and said it needed to be replaced (only 8k miles), but also we're concerned that there was only 1 battery installed on the vehicle. Apparently during conversation, the company removed one of the batteries. After contacting the salesman to received a hefty commission from my $70k purchase, they redirected me to the conversion company. I didn't buy this vehicle from them! Now another year later, 2 additional batteries replaced, and the auto start/stop still does not work. I would not buy anything from this dealer unless it was 100% directly from Ford! This is what you can expect when buying a car from castrucci. This was the state of the battery in my new mustang 10 days after getting it when it left me stranded. I didn't mind needing the replace the battery but the terminal is $600 parts and lebMy wife bought a car there last summer and the hood release cable was broken meaning they don't even pop the hoods of the cars they resell and refuse to help with problems the second you drive off the lot. I don't expect them to fix a mechanical issue that arose after leaving but when it's obvious the issue existed before the purchase it's just bad business. read more

I have had good service here since purchasing my new vehicle last year. I make an online appt for tire rotation and oil change. I use coupons that are sent to me via e-mail, and my oil change is super fast (like 20 minutes!). They have a nice little lounge with phone charging station, snacks and coffee. I live closer to Beechmont Ford but frequent this dealership because I prefer to deal with them. read more

Also went on with them saying they tried multiple times to reach me Saturday to tell me they couldn't do it which was a lie. I will never ever go to this place for anything. Absolutely terrible experience. I was assisting a friend who is in the early stages of car shopping, and we decided to go to Mike Castrucci Ford. To start off, we walked into the showroom to speak with someone about interest in a car we drove 30 minutes to see. The salesman couldn't be bothered to stand up and introduce himself or get off his cell phone to help us. When we told him about the car we wanted to test drive he brushed us off to the used car team. We walked up to the building and were approached by someone on the used car sales team. We asked to drive the car we had interest in, to which he replied he "wasn't sure if we would be allowed to" and he needed to "ask the boss". How exactly do you expect to sell a car without a test drive? Once we got approval from the almighty "boss" we walked outside towards the car. As we walked out, the first words that came from the salesman were "Can I sell you this car today?" to which my friend told him he was interested but needed to do his homework and test drive some cars. This clearly didn't sit well with the salesman who I could tell immediately wrote us off after asking if he could sell the car today if the price was right 2 more times. The test drive was underwhelming as we had about a half mile loop that took 8 minutes to complete; not nearly enough time to get familiar with the car. As we returned to the lot, the salesman asked what my friend thought the car was worth. His response was somewhat low and the salesman was clearly insulted and made a snide remark. We proceeded to inspect the car to which the salesman had no input other than "Come see me when you guys are serious". The place is clearly clueless as the features written on the windshield stated the car had a 5 speed when in reality it was a 6 speed. The salesmen were less than helpful and had my friend not driven a car yet I would have insisted we leave way before we did. I would not recommend this dealership to anyone unless you're looking for the stereotypical sleazy car sales process. This was a worthless experience and a waste of gas. 0/5 stars if possible. read more

Purchased a 2020 Explorer in April 2020. In and out of the service shop until being declared a lemon. Got my second 2020 Explorer in November 2020. Not so bad until the roof rack came loose. Took it in on February 3 and it's still not fixed. Apparently they keep ordering the wrong parts. Calls to the service manager Joe Spa go unanswered.
