    I am totally satisfied with Mid City's Electric. Last year, we called Mid City's Electric to help us find a fault in our 71-year-old home wiring. One of our circuits was intermittent and I couldn't find the cause. The most pressing problem was our garage door opener was on that circuit and my wife couldn't open the garage when the power was out. Mid City's came out right away and found a loose connection that we thought was the problem. Two days later, the problem reappeared, and we called them again. They came back out and after additional checking, they found the actual problem and fixed it. We have not had a problem again. They didn't charge us for the second visit. They could have. Because our house is so old and we have had two additions to the original structure, we wanted to replace the original electrical panel with one that is up to date and can accommodate an electric vehicle. We again used Mid City's. Their bid was similar to others for the same work and we already trusted them. Mid City's removed the old panel (there were two actually) and replaced everything with a new panel that had room for expansion. They cleaned up all the old wiring, brought everything up to code and repaired the wall. Everything was done on time and with good communication. They were friendly and professional. They also cleaned up each day and did not leave a mess. I recommend Mid City's Electric without reservation.

    Mid Cities did all the electrical for my remodel and it turned out great. I highly suggest using them.

From the first phone call, I could tell they genuinely cared about doing quality work and taking care of their customers. They were always responsive, showed up when they said they would, and kept me informed throughout the entire project. They upgraded my electrical panel, rewired parts of the house, installed outdoor electrical, upgraded all of my switches, and installed a Tesla Wall Connector. Everything was fully permitted and done the right way. No shortcuts, no surprises, and no pressure. What I appreciated most was how they treated me. They took the time to answer my questions, explain things in a way I could understand, and make sure I was comfortable with every decision. As a homeowner, that meant a lot. I always felt heard, respected, and taken care of. It's not often you find a contractor who combines great communication, quality workmanship, and honesty. Angel is a hardworking guy building a business the right way, and it shows. You can tell he takes pride in his work and genuinely wants his customers to be happy. At the end of the project, I felt confident that everything was safe, done correctly, and built to last. If I ever need electrical work again, Pro Power Electric will be my first call. Thank you, Angel, Thomas, and Lana. You guys were awesome.

    Double-check EVERYTHING works BEFORE they leave. We found a different outlet (not part of the…read moreoriginal problem) that didn't work, and when we contacted them a few hours after they had left, they told me that we would have to pay another full service fee for them to double-check their own work. Turns out a wire in the outlet they repaired wasn't reconnected so we lost current to the new separate outlet that was chained to the repaired one (luckily was able to find it and fix it myself). Pros: Quick response, good communication, pleasant interaction, repaired original problem. Cons: No warranty/guarantee of service, they didn't double check everything in the area they worked on before leaving (I should have too). When I found a problem after they left (even if it's the same day in the area that they were working on), I would have had to pay a full service fee again.

    When we first met Chad back in May 2021, we were looking to get some low lighting in the front &…read moreback yard. Chad was very knowledgeable as my wife and I did not know much about low lighting. Chad gave us a lot different choices and he recommended Phillips Hue system that gave more variety with colored effects than just white lighting. He came back a few times with ideas until we made a decision. We installed the system in January 2022 and for the first few months the system was great! However a few months later we started getting issues with the cabling and Chad came back out to diagnose the issue and resolved it. Every few months we were having issues with the system which was very disheartening as it was an expensive system and the issue was the cabling and Chad no longer promoted Phillips Hue after our experience. We are still having issues with the system it was usually in the back yard but the past 2 times it has been in the front yard. When I have contacted Chad he has been responsive and I usually have to wait around 2-3 weeks until he was able to come out and fix the problem. In October 2024 we had another issue with some of the lights flickering and sometimes it doesn't switch on. I contacted Chad and it took a couple of texts to get a response saying he would be unavailable for 2 weeks but he would be in touch to come and look at the issue. It's been more than 6 weeks and he hasn't still responded to any of mine or my wife's text or messages, as we were concerned of his well being after silence. He has completely gone silent and it is unlike him not to reply but we have been left stranded and ignored. We would have preferred for him to respond and say no I can't keep coming to fix the issue rather than just to be ignored. We regret putting the Phillips Hue system and wish we just put in white lights and my wife + we feel very disappointed and let down with Chad also considering we gave him some work at our HOA. We are all about helping folks and promoting good work. Chad is a great guy, we are sorry our system is problematic but he charges to come and fix issues, we are disappointed to be left stranded with silence to texts, emails and messages. This is not the way you treat a good customer and we felt he was not happy coming to fix the issues as it was every few months, which is unheard of. We are very disappointed in Phillips Hue. We were not about to change the system again to just simple white lights after spending thousands. We now find someone else to help resolve the issue. We wish Chad would at least support the failures and help us rather than having us restart the process with a new professional. It saddens me to write this review as if you look at my reviews they are always generally positive but this experience is one we needed tor share for awareness.
