I have had to use them twice now for two carts, brothers, about a year and a half apart. They are…read moregreat, I love that they are 24 hour. They are kind and compassionate. No complaints. Here's something to consider. When Oreo was euthanized I took him here and requested a private cremation, paw clay print and fur, all included in the price. Jeter passed away at home so it was a private cremation only. I ordered the paw clay print too. The new thing was I had to call Final Gift (https://www.finalgift.com/) the following morning and tell them that I wanted his fur. When I called Final Gift told me it would cost $25 to get me some fur. Seriously? The amount you give for $25? Had I know this prior I would have cut all the hair I wanted for free. They get you through their grief. I gave this feedback to both Final Gift and the hospital, it's only right that people know this before hand so they can make the decision. So cut your pet's hair before you bring him in to the animal hospital if you don't want to pay this.

What an incredible group of people!…read more My dog is susceptible to pneumonia and when he had a wet cough on a Sunday, I knew it couldn't wait for his primary vet on Monday. In the past we went ton other emergency vets and unfortunately it was always a long wait, you were away from your dog the entire time, and they wouldn't release your dog to you until after you paid. VEG is different than all those places. We were seen immediately and while they do have an open concept ER, they gave us a private room just in case. The nurse (Diana) and the vet (Dr. Schwartz) were all incredible. They took such good care of our dog and us! They allow you to be with your pet during X-rays which I found amazing. No paying first then waiting for your pet to be discharged. You're as hands on as you're comfortable being. Amazing place.

What is there to say besides don't trust this place with your pet, your time or your money…read more To say we had a negative experience would at this point be an understatement. The behavior this practice has exhibited has been avoidant, evasive and disappointing. I called distressed after my dog was having complications healing from surgery after a lipoma removal. We arrived on a busy Sunday and were taken at the end of a triage. During our time there I voiced to MULTIPLE techs that my dog was bleeding through his gauze. 2/3 responses were a deadpan stare and the words "ok". It took 3 times of me asking/ pleading for someone to listen to me. Even then I was armed with loose gauze and a wee wee pad. When we were finally seen I was so relieved i let this all fall away. I was so happy my pet was taken care of I went home following their orders and protocol. The next day I realized all the sutures at the site had fallen out and we were back at square one after spending hundreds of dollars. Naturally I was upset and placed a call to the location. I was placed on an infinite hold 3 times with no answer until i called from my friend's phone to which they picked up immediately. I have been calling every day since Monday with not a single person giving me a call back or without any financial compensation for the negligent job they did. I have given them since Monday to give me a call back and fix this. I've called every day without a call back. So if you don't care about your pets or spending unnecessary money this is the place for you!

To the incredible team at VEG ER,…read more I'm still at a loss for words and overwhelmed with gratitude for the incredible care you all provided Wally last weekend. Watching him fight for his life was one of the hardest things I've ever been through, but your team never gave up on him. I'm a firm believer in the power of positive energy and love, and I truly felt that at VEG. Beyond the teams incredible intelligence and skill, you provided a sense of peace even while I was completely distraught. You are all so personable that I actually found myself enjoying little moments with you, which made such a nightmare situation feel a little less dark. Wally is my absolute world, my best friend and my biggest source of happiness, seeing the compassion you poured into him means everything to me. Thank you for not giving up on him and for giving us more years of life together. You are all truly angels on earth and will have a permanent place in my heart. I wish you all the biggest blessings. With so much love, Wally's mom :)

A rehabber from NY got back to us and recommended VEG. They immediately took the baby in and began working on it and promised to call rehabbers to take it once it was cleared to leave. They were very gentle and you could tell they really cared. I am happy to know they are there and highly recommend them

Dr. Carmichael is an exceptional veterinarian. From the moment we met, he was patient,…read morecompassionate, and truly took the time to listen to all of my concerns. He explained everything clearly, never rushed the appointment, and offered several treatment options, making sure I felt informed and comfortable every step of the way. What impressed me most was his gentle approach with my dog, Kuba. I'm still in awe that Kuba allowed Dr. Carmichael to examine him so thoroughly. That level of trust says everything about the kindness and calmness Dr. Carmichael brings to his patients. His insight also helped us realize that Kuba's poor appetite might not be related solely to his dental issues. I'm grateful that Dr. Carmichael looked beyond the obvious and encouraged us to consider other possible causes. Dr. Carmichael is not only an outstanding veterinarian but also a genuinely compassionate human being. His expertise, patience, and empathy are truly exceptional. We are so grateful for his care and highly recommend him to anyone looking for a veterinarian who treats both pets and their families with kindness and respect.

Waited here for 2 hours and they have absolutely no idea what they are doing. Zero experience with rabbits and the on call vet will not talk to me directly, I am just getting info through a vet that literally knows nothing about rabbits and is asking me to start just diagnostics for $1500. The emergency consultation cost us $331 and they literally did absolutely nothing.
