I look forward to this, daily, especially because it improved my health both physically and mentally !! Staff is amazing, each instructor creates an open regardless of the level you're in. I have been finding a community here at J8 and everyone is super encouraging & friendly. Whether it's to start my day out or end my day, I look forward to coming to J8. The classes are tough as hell, in the best way, but even as a beginner who's pretty out of shape, I've always felt comfortable. She offers great modifications and creates an environment that feels supportive, not intimidating. I'm guaranteed to sweat every single class, and I always leave feeling so much better than when I walked in. The studio itself is just as great, always clean, organized, and fully stocked with everything you need, from mats and weights to bands and cleaning supplies. There is zero musty smell, which honestly says a lot for a workout space. It's clear they really care about the experience from start to finish. Honestly, I don't see myself going anywhere else.

It was a breeze checking in and ahhh the liability waiver at the front. It was a sweet space with see through window from the lobby. I brought my baby boy and he had an absolute blast crawling around and meeting little ones like himself. The yoga session was perfectly tailored for moms and Meredith was so accommodating with different yoga poses, making sure we breathed in and out, holding my baby at one point since he started fussing, and giving position adjustments. The practice was very calming and I loved the flow. The other moms were so sweet and welcoming. I highly recommend this class to any new moms, it was so energizing and comforting!

I took it on a Thursday night, before doing my 3 shifts in a row (they were extra challenging so I'm glad I did this beforehand). I loved having to hold the positions longer to really stretch. I'm not used to slowing down in life so I thought I might be getting bored but it's something I need to work on. The class was so relaxing I almost fell asleep three times. The studio was calming and there was ample space for us yogis. I did have to ask the instructor Valeryia what equipment I needed and couldn't hear her that well during the practice, but I'm sure it was inspirational.

Everything went well until they charge me again 4 months later. I texted the owner about it, no replied. I called them back to back. It took them awhile to answer my call. I was told they will refund my money back to my credit card. I've been waiting for couple days to see the return. Still no refund or pending refund. I had to call my credit card to dispute the charge. There was a comment from a past customer saying if you get on the owner bad side she will terminated your account. She was right. All my remaining 35 + passes that I haven't use yet are no longer on my account. I have to take a loss. I feel like it a waste of time reaching out about it. I joined back in 2022 when I lived in San Bruno, and there was even a time when I was unemployed that I would come twice a day. This studio offers a huge variety of classes, and the instructors are truly the best - so passionate, knowledgeable, and motivating. I've also gotten to know the owner, Leila, and I have the utmost respect for her for creating such a welcoming, community-centered space. She's always open to feedback and is constantly looking for ways to elevate the experience and make sure members are really getting their money's worth. Overall, I recommend this place to anyone who wants to be challenged, build strength, and find a supportive community. With so many different class styles, there's truly something for everyone!

Parking was not too difficult to find considering it was mid day on a weekday. All meter parking outside costed $1.50 per hour. Studio was clean and had a relaxing vibe. I'm already self conscious going to class and she made me not want to return. It's my first time at this studio so I'm not entirely familiar with the flow, it was 6:30 (end of class) and people were cleaning up and stretching and i'm thinking "okay i'm guessing we're skipping shavasna due to the time" so i started to head out and as soon as i stand up with my mat , she turns the lights off. and then proceeds to call me out for leaving during shavasna. What a weird feeling, to feel embarrassment after such a good workout. But class was great and her flow was good other than the passive aggression at the end.

I had a very disappointing experience this afternoon in Kristi B's power vinyasa yoga class and…read morewill not be returning. About an hour into class, I took my phone out of my bag for a moment to check a text because I had mistakenly thought the class was 60 minutes instead of 75, and I needed to let my husband know the correct pickup time. Before I had a chance to explain, the instructor immediately said, "Nope, no recording allowed," grabbed the phone out of my hand, and scratched my left palm with her nails in the process. I found this completely inappropriate and unnecessary. I took my phone and bag outside to call my husband, then returned to finish class. When I came back in, the instructor told me that bags were not allowed in the room and instructed me to leave mine outside, even though other students had their bags with them. The inconsistent treatment made the situation even more upsetting. I understand and respect policies about phone use and recording during class, but they should be communicated professionally and respectfully. There was no need for the instructor to physically take my phone from my hand. The entire interaction left me feeling disrespected and deeply upset. After class, I approached Kristi to express my concern and told her there was no need to physically grab my phone. She responded that I should have read the studio rules and said she was sorry she scratched me, but that "these things happen." I do not believe the scratch would have happened if she had simply communicated her request verbally instead of taking my phone. I strongly feel the studio owner and others should be aware of this incident. The way that the instructor handled this situation was unprofessional, dismissive, and unnecessary. Because of this experience, I won't be taking this instructor's class again.
