We arrived 10 minutes early, only to be told to wait in the car because the exam room was being cleaned. It was the middle of summer, and despite running the AC, I became increasingly concerned about keeping my senior dog comfortable and safe. We weren't brought inside until about 20 minutes after our scheduled appointment time. Unfortunately, the wait didn't end there. Once inside, we sat in the exam room for another 20 minutes while my dog became increasingly anxious, restless, and fearful. Staff came in and out asking questions, but the veterinarian didn't enter until my dog was already overwhelmed. Before the exam, I clearly explained that my dog is very protective of his face and can react quickly. I even brought my own muzzle to help keep everyone safe. By that point, however, after spending roughly 40 minutes waiting and building anxiety, he was too distressed to cooperate. When he managed to remove the muzzle, the assistant became increasingly forceful and visibly frustrated. The veterinarian then suggested using a towel over his head so they could listen to his heart and lungs. Instead of calming him, it sent him into a panic. Hearing my senior dog struggling under the towel, desperately trying to clear his nose and escape, was heartbreaking. I asked if there was anything I could do to comfort him, but I was immediately told no because of insurance reasons. In the end, they couldn't complete the exam and recommended gabapentin before attempting another visit. I left with a senior dog who was frightened, hypervigilant, and completely shaken by the experience. I understand that fearful pets can be challenging, but I also believe the long delays and handling methods greatly contributed to his distress. His fear escalated long before the exam ever began. We will not be returning.

I…read moream a dog groomer myself and this guy is so crazy that I can't even touch him with the clippers, so what a relief to find another professional and friendly groomer who offers this service. If you do need your animal to be sedated for grooming, they will obviously require the assistance of the veterinary professionals here too, which means your pet will have to become their client first- so expect a prerequisite check up appointment. The extra sedation procedure will also add a corresponding list of charges to your grooming bill so don't be surprised by that. But generally, the whole thing was quite reasonably priced. Overall the veterinary staff are also quite professional and pleasant, even though I called them like 50 times and accidentally walked through their treatment area to get to the grooming office they were very friendly and patient with me lol

We had weekly appts - (illness is stressful) - then one morning he could no longer move - not even his tail and was barely breathing. They told us to come right in, despite clients waiting. We were ushered in a room immediately for euthanasia (we cried) - clearly not easy for anyone involved including the staff who had to continue on with the rest of the day. I'm sure our emergency impacted scheduled appts. All the staff give quality care to their patients, from exams to record keeping. In 2020, we adopted again and still go there in 2023.

As long-time members who have trusted them with our precious animals over the years, we always knew they were wonderful, but nothing could have prepared us for the grace they showed us today. We had to make the most agonizing decision of our lives: to let our sweet, beautiful little Chihuahua, Sabrina, cross the rainbow bridge at 13 years and six months old, after a heartbreaking battle with declining health, failing muscles, and neurological pain. From the very moment we walked through their doors carrying our fragile girl, the doctor and the veterinary nurse treated us with a gentleness and deep empathy that felt like a warm embrace in our darkest hour. They were endlessly patient with our tears, treating Sabrina not just as a patient, but as the deeply cherished family member she was, making sure she was completely comfortable, respected, and cradled in love until her very last breath. Even in her final moments and during checkout, their profound compassion--focusing purely on sparing her from suffering rather than anything else--meant more to us than words could ever capture. To lose a soulmate after nearly fourteen years leaves a silence that is deafening, but this remarkable team ensured our sweet girl knew nothing but peace, dignity, and unconditional love at the end of her journey. Thank you, from the very bottom of our broken hearts, for guiding us through this unbearable goodbye and for every single year of kindness you showed our family. Rest softly in paradise, our sweet little Sabrina girl; we will miss you every single day for the rest of our lives.

He is a solo practitioner and it is a small clinic with basics. If you suspect something that needs further diagnostics beyond basic x-ray, basic bloodwork, or vaccines and general medicine, I would go to one of the other larger area pet hospitals- in Westford, Waltham, Wachusett, Woburn, etc. Dr. Norelli is very cost conscious and will be very reasonable in terms of conservative treatment. If you are looking for medical care that goes above and beyond (and perhaps needs an ultrasound or an MRI or physical therapy), I would seek a second vet or another veterinary hospital system. He does basic surgery such as dentals, neutering, and lump removals. Maintenance care and palliative care. His hours are limited to the work week Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays 9-5pm, so you have to take time off of work to bring your pets here, but if you like being in the exam room, having a one-on-one conversation with your vet and your pet isn't too sick, this is a great and unique clinic! The entire veterinary profession is changing with commercial hospitals and a practice like this is unique and a gem. I recommend Dr. Norelli's practice if you're in the area and needing an empathetic vet.
