If you do need your animal to be sedated for grooming, they will obviously require the assistance of the veterinary professionals here too, which means your pet will have to become their client first- so expect a prerequisite check up appointment. The extra sedation procedure will also add a corresponding list of charges to your grooming bill so don't be surprised by that. But generally, the whole thing was quite reasonably priced. Overall the veterinary staff are also quite professional and pleasant, even though I called them like 50 times and accidentally walked through their treatment area to get to the grooming office they were very friendly and patient with me lol

They asked if she was a current patient and I answered "no" and told them I had just moved here. They refused to see her and told me to go see an emergency vet up in Westminster. I then called Leominster Animal Hospital on Lancaster Street and they immediately said "yes, bring her right in". I put her in the carrier and raced right down there and they treated her wonderfully and got her well. I was so impressed that the following week I called and made a wellness visit appointment for my other cat. Both of those cats have since passed on, each at age 18. I adopted two rescue cats in 2024 and take both of them to Leominster Animal Hospital. Dr. Feccia and his staff have been wonderful. I would not go to the Central Street Animal Hospital even if they offered to treat my cats for free.

He is a solo practitioner and it is a small clinic with basics. If you suspect something that needs further diagnostics beyond basic x-ray, basic bloodwork, or vaccines and general medicine, I would go to one of the other larger area pet hospitals- in Westford, Waltham, Wachusett, Woburn, etc. Dr. Norelli is very cost conscious and will be very reasonable in terms of conservative treatment. If you are looking for medical care that goes above and beyond (and perhaps needs an ultrasound or an MRI or physical therapy), I would seek a second vet or another veterinary hospital system. He does basic surgery such as dentals, neutering, and lump removals. Maintenance care and palliative care. His hours are limited to the work week Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays 9-5pm, so you have to take time off of work to bring your pets here, but if you like being in the exam room, having a one-on-one conversation with your vet and your pet isn't too sick, this is a great and unique clinic! The entire veterinary profession is changing with commercial hospitals and a practice like this is unique and a gem. I recommend Dr. Norelli's practice if you're in the area and needing an empathetic vet.
