This is in my parents home and apparently carpeting bathrooms was a thing in the 70's. Sam came by to have a look a day or two after we first connected thru Yelp and scheduled the job a few days after that. Sam is very knowledgeable about all types of flooring and shares his experiences and recommendations in a positive and easy-to-understand manner. He does not sell flooring but he knows how and where to get the right stuff. He was sending me links for baseboard at 9:30pm! Sam showed up ON TIME even after stopping by Lowes to pick up some materials I purchased online. Once he got here, he immediately started working and when finished he thoroughly cleaned up. I don't usually post reviews online. But, if I can save one person from the nightmare I went…read morethrough then it is time well spent. FLOOR CONNECTIONS, LLC located at 507 E MAIN STREET, BATTLE GROUND, WA is by far the worst company that I have ever had the misfortune to work with. The only reason I have given them one star is because I'm required to, so I can post a review. Due to Floor Connections subpar/shoddy work, price gouging and shady business practices I was forced to file a claim against them with the Oregon Contractors Board. In addition, I filed a Small Claims suit in Clackamas County (the County where the work was performed) that eventually went before a Circuit Court Judge. The Judge ruled in my favor and I was awarded a judgement in the amount of $10,585.52. The owners of Floor Connections (Jason Aw and Poh Aun Aw) never acknowledged the judgement, so I therefore had to file a claim against their surety bond in order to get paid. Their insurance company paid the claim. My suggestion to anyone reading this is run as fast as you can from Floor Connections and find a reliable and legitimate company for your flooring needs.
