My horror started August 8th 2024 when i went to this location for AC REPAIR . The quote 286.00 was not bad however i had to bring my vehicle back several times and they still couldn't diagnose my problem . TONY was by far the worst service provider i have ever encountered . My last communication with him was him telling me WELL I DONT KNOW what else to do but bring it back and we will see. I THAN reached out to corporate office and i than received a call from TYLER who said NO WORRIES we will get this right even if i have to eat the cost in labor HOWEVER when he found out the labor cost for the whole job , he said LOOK i can do it for the compressor but not the rest of the job . MY ADVICE is to stay away from them and just deal with the dealer OR Buy your parts from the DEALER and find your own Mechanic . AT LEAST PEPBOYS gave me a refund when they couldn't fix it . I recently went in for an oil change. During that service call it was determined that my brakes were bad (front and rear). Needless to say it was an unexpected expense that I was not ready for. I left but was called the next day by Tony who went over the diagnostics with me and offered his suggestion. So I decided to go in and have them repaired. Not only was the work done but I had all rotors replaced and at the cost to replace only two. Thanks Tony. Thank you for your care and concern and your exceptional customer service. For you to follow up with your recommendation and your concern shows that you value your customers. While waiting I had a conversation with another customer who told me she's been going there for years and I see why. Hello. My mother who is elderly took her 2014 Honda CRV into this establishment and was told she needed front and rear brakes. Over 1K estimate was provided. My mother had a warranty for the brakes. Tony told her she would need to pay for labor even though the brakes were under warranty. My mother declined the service. They had already taken her brakes off the car! She never authorized any work. Luckily we consulted a family friend and mechanic who learned my mother's brakes were like new and did not need to be replaced. I called Tony and he claimed he never told my mother she needed this work. My mother produced an estimate for over 1K stating she need front and rear brakes. BE AWARE!! SCAMMER!!!!! They tried to take advantage of my mother. I will be reporting this behavior to the attorney general. Tony admitted my mother's brakes did not need to be replaced and said he told my mother that, but then why does she have and estimate for the work?? This manager is a lie and a cheat. read more

Knowledgable, honest, and fair! This is my second time going to Midas in Clinton, MD to have my car serviced. I have a 2010 Honda Accord. The first time was for rear brakes, and this time I had front brakes put on. They didn't overcharge me and were very helpful. The team is great and efficient with wifi available for me to work while waiting. For my most recent visit, I worked with Edie and Philip. I also worked with other team members before, but failed to get their names. I highly recommend this location and continue as a patron for future car services! read more

This Midas use to be my go for oil changes and other small car maintenance, but because of really bad service I stopped... And begab taking my car to the dealership. Recently, in desperate need of an oil change and on a tight budget, I returned and to my surprise things have really changed! When I came into the lobby area I was warmly greeted by 2 men that seemed to enjoy their job and not like it was a gun to their head to be there. They asked how could they help me and even showed me the various coupons I could use. A full inspection of my fluids and tires were done and because i needed a new tire, recommendations were made and I was informed about a buy 3 get 1 free tire promotional. When I left this establishment I felt relieved and like I had some place I trusted to bring my car back to! I applaud the turn around and change of the staff's attitude! Its a good look guys! I dropped my car off at this location just for a standard oil change. I asked if my car would be done around noon and the gentleman at the front assured me it would. I got a call just 2 hours later and it was all done! He was very nice, had a great attitude, and automatically applied a coupon for me! This is not a place you send your wife alone. My quote was $990.00. When I looked at my quote in the parts section they tried to sell me 1 Rotor for $260.00. They called it a Premium Rotor. Thank God I was paying attention because I saved my self $200.00. Expect all parts to be marked up 300% and watch your back. You might want to bring a mechanic with you that you can trust to this place because management has tactics to take advantage of customers that are unfamiliar to their dirty strategies. read more

Another Midas. And this one has the prices on the board too...although the prices are sky-high. I called in the morning and was able to schedule an appointment for that afternoon. They had me in...changed my oil, topped off the fluids, and rotated my tires. Simple. I'm just irritated that the prices are high...but to be honest it's comparable to the others in the area. Maybe I'm just mad that my car can only take synthetic oil. Oh well...what can you do? The people there were pretty helpful...and asked if they could help me (I'm super impatient so I constantly walk). The only complaint that I really have about this place...it needs to be remodeled. There are a few leaks in the roof I suppose...I saw that the ceiling is wet in a few areas...which means they are probably allowing mold to grow in there. Yuck. I have all my work done on all of my cars at this location. The staff is very knowledgeable which is a gamble if you go anywhere else in the area. I have had everything replaced here such as, brakes & rotors, fog lights, water pump, belts, tires and oil changes. Oil changes there is ALWAYS coupon somewhere for them. I have not had one job that has been turned away or taking longer than a "normal/reasonable" amount of time. Prices range depending on the work you want done, but most prices are reasonable and will always beat the dealerships. Midas had a decent waiting area that is larger than most with a large vending machine coffee and water. To top it all off they have a clean sizable restroom! read more

Small shop with limited capabilities. Basically a slower Jiffy Lube. I recommend that you always youtube a video of the work you're going to have done on your vehicle prior to speaking to the mechanic. You will find that you know more than the mechanic. Good Luck My Friends. read more

I brought my truck here because it wouldn't start and they figured it out right away. The estimates they gave were cheaper than the other places nearby and were able to fix it right away. They stuck to their time estimates and are very efficient as well as thorough. Not only that but they're honest about what should and shouldn't get done right away. Most importantly, they don't try and rip you off and even charge less than the places nearby. They definitely earned my trust and I will gladly take my vehicle there for any issue. Took my 2010 Hyundai Santa Fe in for an oil change. The good news was that they found two punctures in the driver's side rear tire. Because the punctures were close together in the tread (not the sidewall) they told me the tire could not be repaired. I took it to another reputable repair shop about a mile away and they patched it for $19.99. read more

I took my car to the clinton midas in December 2015 to change a broken headlight. Besides the fact that it took 2.5 hours to change my lightbulb I really didnt have any issues. It is now March 2016 (3 months later) and the same headlight went out. I took my car back to Clinton midas for them to change my headlight which is covered under warranty. They explained to me that they were short staff and the wait would be long, they called to the camp springs location and sent me over there having me believe that there would be no wait and I would be taken care of. When i get to the othe location im told there still will be a wait. I was told if i come to the clinton one monday (meaning go the entire weekend with my headlight out) I would be taken care of. I called customer service who transferred my call to who they thought was the manager at the Clinton location. They guy I spoke was rude, and actually laughed at the situation and kept telling me to call the owner "Tony" at the camp springs location. Said he couldnt transfer or call to speak to the owner himself. This is SECOND time having to return to get my headlight fixed after going out within a couple of months of getting it installed. HUGE inconveniance. I'm not asking anyone to move a mountain but if you cant offer a solution, (Squeeze me in between appointments, bump somone down, etc) then honestly how are you a manager? The attitude of the manager at the clinton midas is terrible. I recommend NOBODY to ever take their car there unless you want to leave with a headache. Sad part is im forced to go back there because they are the only ones that can fix my headlight for free. That establishment will never get a dime from me. If these are the type of employees Midas hires they may need to re-evaluate some things. read more
