I need to drop my rating on this Midas from 5 to 2 stars, and 2 is probably generous. Had my truck serviced twice here for oil/filter and tire rotate under their $19.99 package. The first time the desk guy assured me all work had been done, but I looked in the work bay area a couple times and never did see my tires removed for rotation. But, he assured me they were indeed rotated. 4,000 miles later I went back for the same service package and again I did not see the tires removed for rotation although the same counter guy said they were rotated. I did not pay attention at the time and believed what he said. However, when I got home my wife noticed that a previous noticeable scuff on my right rear tire was still on the right rear tire proving the work had not been done. Rather than going back and challenging the guy with this I decided that I would not use their business again. I have gone to Service Street on Hess and have been pleased with their service, even though you have to pay for the rotate separately. I see a lot of high reviews for their service, but I would caution customers looking for the $19.99 oil/filter/tire rotate "deal" to verify the work was indeed done. Maybe make hidden marks on the tires so you can verify the work was done. read more

Was told getting the vehicle in the shop, inspections, and oil change wouldn't take more than 20 minutes. 1 hour later and my vehicle was still outside. Unacceptable! First time at a Midas and it will be the last. read more

It's always hard to find a reliable shop to work on your car and even some of the big name guys aren't always reliable and honest. I had an unusual problem I wouldn't have expected them to help with, but they went above and beyond. These guys blew me away with the work they did, the price, their speed and reliability. March 2017: Midas in Parker is knowledgeable, HONEST, and awesome! I brought my son's car to Christian Brothers in Castle Rock for a $90 alignment, but Christian Brothers told me they couldn't get the outer tie-rods off so they suggested a $1600 power steering rack replacement (with only a 2 yr warranty). That sounded strange and so I brought my son's car to Midas in Parker and they got the tie-rods off fine with no difficulty. I asked them for an estimate for the whole power-steering rack work, and they came in $400 less, with a 5 yr warranty (instead of Christian Brother's 2 yrs) -- thank you Zack! Midas in Parker is awesome -- honest, and knowledgeable. I'm glad that they're my main place I use for my car now. I've been using them for years now, for 3 different cars, and they're great. read more

We were traveling from east to west coast and of course, the car was going to give us up in the middle... We took our car to Chris and his team after visiting four other auto shops on the way. Our biggest concern was that nobody was able to tell what was happening with the car - some said the cat was broken, others said the oil pump. Neither fix was cheap and the worst was to spend $1000 on the car and the problem would still be there, and we still had over a 1000 miles to go. Chris took pity on us and took on our work as soon as he could. He had his team perform a thorough diagnose for us (about 1h30), and pin pointed the problem. He was not able to get the part for us the same day, so he referred us to other shops. When asked how much we owe him for the diagnostic, he said, I won't charge you. You have other things to worry about. So the five star is given for his compassion, his responsiveness and his honesty. It was a great help. read more

These clowns tried to charge me $496 for a $100 exhaust job. I know this because I immediately went back to the custom exhaust shop that originally did my exhaust on my 1981 pickup truck, and they got me in and out in 30 minutes for exactly $100. I would have gone back to the exhaust shop (BDM) in Denver in the first place, but I recently moved to Parker and figured, hey it's right down the street and it couldn't possibly be more than $100. That was until they dropped that quote on me, claming they had to replace half of the entire, brand new custom exhaust system I just had installed 6 months ago. I actually chuckled out loud and told the guy at the desk that he had to be kidding me. I only paid $375 for the ENTIRE custom exhaust system to include all the pipe from the manifold out, mufflers, catalytic converter, chrome tips (X2- yes, dual exhaust), and the labor!!! Yet Midas wanted to charge me $496 to add 6" of pipe!?!?! Be warned, if they tried to rip me off, they have ripped off countless others and will continue to do so to anyone not knowing any better. I WILL NEVER, EVER return, nor will I ever recomment ANY Miday shop to anyone I know. It's just pretty sad that they have ripped off people like this in the past and continue to do so without any business ethics or morals. Poor business practices and basically highway robbery. Think of your mother or grandmother doing business with them and the amount they will overcharge her for something that can be done for a fraction of the price????? Pathetic. read more

Midas is Parker is a golden touch. When one find a store that has a goal of always helping you out and are willing to provide as much information as possible it is hard not to brag. My Wife had engine warning light that was originally though it was part replacement of $600, for part only. The advised that they after the inspection of the internal wiring that the alarm went away. Even though they were not sure why the alarm disappeared (honesty) , they suggest that we play a wait and see game. If the problem re-occurred we would order and replace the part. So far we have not had a problem. and I have a bit more in my wallet I am taking both of my family car to this place. As I know that if it does not need it they will not do it read more

My husband got his muffler installed at this location. The inexperienced young 'technician' used jb weld on his muffler! My husband took his truck to another Midas location to have it fixed right after. His muffler is still not performing properly. He took it back and the General Manager, Zach?, called him a liar and refused to fix it. He told my husband to make an appointment. Ha. Never take your vehicle here!!! Complete lip service for incomplete repair. Do NOT take your foreign car into Midas. They don't have the appropriate equipment or tools to repair your car. Owner has no concept of customer service or loyalty. Strongly advise you seek service and repair jelsewhere. read more

Not only were the gentlemen there terrific about not just verifying the issue, they even offered to let me see the problem identified by the dealer that I normally go to; they took time to try to track down the right part for me that fit my comfort level, gave me choices and educated me on each. When I went back to get my muffler work done they got it done tremendously faster than anything I have ever had done at the dealer or other shops. I will never go back to Midas. I think their staff is either inexperienced or just plain crooks. My Chevy mini-van was running rough. I thought it was from the leaking exhaust manifold. I had a check engine light on. They told me the last mechanic didn't install the catalytic converter properly so that needed replacement too. $1321 dollars later I picked my van up. It was still shaking and running rough but I had to get to work. Midas couldn't diagnose the actual problem with my car but they tried to sell me 4 new wheel bearings and wiper blades and filters. 2 of the wheel bearings were already replaced. I took my car back to my original back-woods mechanic that installed the original catalytic converter. He found the problem right away. It was a worn out intake gasket and a bad motor mount. Plus he had to fix whatever work Midas did on my van. It runs perfect without shaking like a new car. read more

Won't ever go back here. My wife used to get oil changed and tire rotation done here. First minor issue was them not wanting to rotate our tires, saying they thought they would be fine going another interval - problem is that voids the warranty on the tires, so we had to take somewhere else to actually get them rotated. Our last trip was much worse: they told us one of the front axel CV boots was leaking. The quote to replace the boot only was not much cheaper than replacing the entire axel and they said grime may have already found its way into critical parts so they recommended replacing the entire front axel. We agreed - but what they didn't tell us was that they intended to use a remanufactured axel. We got this done one week before a road trip upon their recommendation that we not travel for a long distance (into remote locations) with a potential issue. We were literally on our way out of town on 470 when there was a violent shudder while taking a slight turn. We got off the highway, and again when we turned to get off the highway there was a very intense shake. We were close to the Midas off of Broadway & 470 so stopped in there - a tech took it out for a test drive and said it shook so bad he was scared driving the car back to the shop. Needless to say, the remanufactured axel was $h1t and needed to be replaced. Thankfully the other Midas location was great to work with and got us a new part same day and got us on our way. FYI - they said that each Midas was independently operated so made their own decisions, but they never used remanufactured parts. With so many other options nearby I would avoid these guys at all costs. read more

Hands down, absolute worse service I have ever recieved. The owner is completely out of line. Took my truck in for an alignment today 10 JUNE 2015 one of the techs took my truck for a test drive before hand. So I went outside as he was getting in. The tech drove my truck like it was a race car and red lined the motor twice in the short distance he went. (It's a manual) he came back and did not want to do business with them because of the way they were already treating my truck. So the owner got all high and mighty and started giving me and attitude. I called him out on it and he started cussing me out as I was remaining calm. He even threatened to pull up my address and meet me at my house. I've never had this bad of customer Service. I will be contacting the Midas corporate office tomorrow. He also said to come back to settle it like men. Nothing but threats from this guy. I hope to watch this store go down because of the owner. read more
