    I've used Midas since I purchased my car new in 2016. Previously, I have only ever used the location in Kennesaw near the mall. I have only ever received trustworthy and exceptional service from them. After a recent move to Roswell/Alpharetta area, I visited the Holcomb Bridge location as it's right down the road. I came in for a routine oil change and was presented with a quote for $1644.32 for 'additional items they found'. Upon reviewing the quote, the first thing I noticed was that they suggest I need new breaks on all 4 tires. I let them know I was shocked and they offered to walk me out to the shop and show me. First off, I'm 5'3" and they had the car easily 6 ft off the ground on the lift so I could see nothing. So I asked them why I need breaks "all the way around" as they stated, considering I had just replaced my rear breaks within the last 30 days. They lowered the vehicle a bit and started with the 'oh, um, uh' because you could clearly see full pads. Instead of answering my question, they asked me who replaced them and why did I only do rears. I let them know my husband (who is part owner of an auto brokerage and has spent 15+ years working on cars) and myself replaced them and we only did rears as they were near metal on metal and we were heading out of town. I admitted to knowing the fronts still needed to be replaced as we intended to do so when we had some free time. As for the other items, they recommended I replace my battery (despite no issues and a passing independent test) and the usual interior and exterior air filters, etc. I opted to stick with just the oil change as I didn't feel I could trust their judgment at this point anyway. Now, a month later, I'm looking at my sticker they put in the car and noticing they have screwed that up as well. My 'last serviced' milage is roughly 4500 higher than my current milage. It has become more apparent that they lack attention to detail and they are not above trying to upsell unnecessary items or lie about current vehicle status. So I end this saying, I still love Midas and hope I can find a different decent location, but I would not trust this location with anything.

On December 16, 2025 Carl, the manager and owner, or so I thought, called me and said my car was involved in an accident on his property while under his care. He said the brakes had failed after being repaired and the tech backed the car into another. He kept apologizing and assured me the car would be repaired to the same mint condition as I brought it in. He even gave me his personal cell number so I could be kept updated on the repair progress. The car was brought to Sun Valley Collision , where Carl said he gets all his personal work done. Six weeks later the car was declared a total loss. At that point Carl basically ghosted me. When it first declared a total loss, I went to the shop and he told to me deal with the insurance company. After two months of fighting with the insurance company I was forced to accept a lower offer than my car was worth ( the insurance company informed that they would stop paying for my rental and storage fees on February 1,2026). I purchased a used vehicle for more than I received from the insurance company. All I want is for Roswell Auto to make up the difference and make me whole. To this point, crickets. Carl doesn't answer his phone and ignores my text. My wife even went to talk to him and he basically said it's up to the owner. The owner happens to be his Dad. I could never and would never recommend this place for any kind of repair because of their terrible customer service and obviously poor mechanical skills. I just read Phil Hughes response to my first review. Phil, shame on you. You know that is not what happened. I was the one who called the Roswell Police to make sure a report was filled out on the destruction of my car that happened at your facility. I never threatened anyone or any employee. I admit I was very angry but I never threatened anyone. I said I could severely damage your business with an honest review of what happened. I happen to have the Police report and there is no mention of me threatening anyone. I did in fact provide your insurance company with a comparable car, same year, same make,same model with the same low mileage. They only raised the settlement amount a few hundred dollars. I wanted to hold out for more but was told by your insurance company that as of February 1, they would no longer pay for the care rental and that the storage fees at Sun Valley Collision would be my responsibility. So I settled for less than I should have. As a business owner you should know better than anyone one that nothing is more important than your reputation. I owned a business for thirty years and I never allowed anyone to walk out unhappy. There is an old saying. It takes 10 customers talking good about you to undo one customer talking bad. You can still do the right thing and pay the $ 2860 price difference. You know it's the right thing to do.

Ford offered to let me drop off the car in a few days and they'll eventually get around to it. CBA offered me same day service if I could drop my car off early enough. My electrical issue was a bit complicated to diagnose, but the technicians at CBA eventually duplicated the issue that I had. They quoted a price that made enough sense to me. My car was returned to me slightly over 24 hours later. This is very good timing without an appointment and with a complicated diagnostic issue. I have very little faith in mechanics at the moment, and I maintain a certain amount of skepticism. For now, without any evidence to the contrary, CBA did good work on my car for a reasonable enough price.

Just walking into the waiting room says a lot about the environment you're entrusting your investment at ~ the room is homey with its furnishings & the staff even bakes chocolate chip cookies fresh to add a personal touch while you wait on your vehicle. My oil change took a little longer than expected, but Brandon ended up giving me a small discount for it out of courtesy. I know my car will be well taken care of here by that genuine gesture I wouldn't have gotten from anywhere else. I'll be back..!
