My college-aged son took his car in for brake repairs here recently. He told the man helping him…read more(Sam) that it was his first time bringing a car in for repair by himself so he wasn't sure what he was doing and that his Dad would be the one paying for the work and needed to ok it. Unfortunately, I'm sure you see where this is going. Sam proceeded to write up an estimate that included a lot more than the requested brake repair. Then he got my son to sign an agreement without checking with his Dad (saying he would get in touch with him to discuss it) and without fully explaining that by signing, my son was agreeing to have all the work done. What Sam did may not be "technically" wrong (my son is a legal adult, as Sam so helpfully reminded me), but it was definitely ethically wrong. We would not have approved all the work that was included. My son trusted Sam (wouldn't it be nice to be able to trust people?), and Sam took advantage of his inexperience. It was not a "miscommunication", it was shady. We will not go there again.

After picking up the repaired vehicle 5 days later, the transfer case failed catastrophically within 20 miles of highway driving (left me stranded on highway with drive shaft decoupled from the transfer case). Had the vehicle towed back to Fast Lane. They took 2 weeks to replace the transfer case (they said it was under warranty), but they refused to cover my towing expenses (less than $300). I called them multiple times and was told multiple times that their manager would call me back, but they never called me back. Grungy lobby, disorganized & cluttered shop space, poor customer service. I will not return to this shop and I cannot recommend.

Firstly, I was an a hole and showed up 10 minutes before close. The team said they could take me in anyway and they stayed 40 minutes after close to make sure I could get what I needed. The service was quick, efficient, cost friendly, and what I really appreciated was I wasn't being pressured to make purchases I knew nothing about (like I typically experience). Instead, they educated me about the options, how they worked, how often I should do them, but added no pressure to rush into purchasing. At the end of the day, I was genuinely beaming because of how taken aback I was by how nice and accommodating everyone at this location is.
