I brought my vehicle to Bell Tire multiple times for a very loud squealing noise that happens when I accelerate. The first time I went in on a Saturday, I explained the issue to Phil and was basically told there was not much they could do because they only had one technician working. And he made it a point to say they need to give techs at least one day off as if I had said otherwise. The interaction came across as dismissive and impatient, as if I should already know exactly what the issue was myself. He mentioned it was raining as a reason they wouldn't be able to duplicate the sound. A couple of weeks later, which was Thursday May 13,2026 I brought the vehicle back on a weekday and showed Phil a video recording of the noise from outside the vehicle. I dropped my car off around 6 PM and they kept it overnight, only to call me 8:30 the next morning and tell me they could not hear the squealing. Then they told me the noise was supposedly coming from the lift gate. That explanation made absolutely no sense. My lift gate does make a very small noise occasionally, but it is not the loud squealing sound I was describing. The squealing happens specifically when I accelerate, and it is so loud that people walking or driving near me turn and look. My vehicle literally sounds like a squealing city bus when it happens, and it is still doing it to this day. I even explained that the video was recorded from outside the vehicle, so suggesting that a small lift gate noise was somehow being picked up that loudly from outside was frustrating and unrealistic. If Bell Tire only handles certain types of issues, I would have appreciated honesty from the beginning instead of having my vehicle kept overnight just to be told it was a lift gate. Unfortunately, this was not my first frustrating experience there. During a previous visit, I was told I needed brakes even though I had already gotten brakes so I asked when was the last time I had my brakes done by Belle Tire When I questioned it, they acted as if I must have gone somewhere else because they could not find the service in the system. It turned out the VIN number had been entered incorrectly by Phil so my brake service was attached to a different vin number not my actual number The same thing also happened with a tire repair. Again, I was treated like I was mistaken until I kept insisting otherwise. The one person who actually took the time to listen and help was Damani. He was professional, patient, and able to figure out what had happened with the VIN issue. I genuinely appreciated his help. Overall, the biggest problem I experienced here was not feeling listened to. I came in clearly explaining an ongoing issue with my vehicle, and instead of being taken seriously, I felt dismissed multiple times. read more

Something has changed here recently, and definitely for the worse. Rather than focus on providing great service, they are just trying to scam people into wasting money on unnecessary services. I've been here several times over the last few years for new tires and the occasional nail in the tire. I appreciated the quality of service and how quickly they could get me back on the road. That is no more. My most recent experience has left a really sour taste in my mouth, and I will not go back here, nor recommend to anyone I know and like. I came in for a nail in one of my tires. They said sure, no problem. I went home. An hour or so later, they called me to tell me that my car was ready, but the alignment on my car was so bad that they absolutely felt that it was imperative for me to get it done today, but no they couldn't give me the values to tell me how bad the alignment really was. I got suckered into doing the alignment, and maybe 30 minutes later they called me to tell me my car was ready. When I went to pick up my car, the guy who rang me up was berating one of his fellow employees and trying to joke about him with me. That was gross and just terrible customer service. I saw the piece of paper with the mechanic notes about my car, and it said that they didn't find the nail so they didn't do any work. The guy ringing me up didn't say anything about that. I told him I saw the note and he said, "oh yeah, they didn't find anything". So if I hadn't seen that note y'all just weren't going to tell me??????? I had to request the alignment values twice before they would provide the sheet to me. I absolutely did not need an alignment. I'm disgusted by what they are doing here. $100 wasted for literally nothing. After all of this I ended up having to waste more of my time taking my car elsewhere to have the nail removed from my tire due to the lack of service done here. 0/10. I strongly DO NOT recommend wasting your time or money here. read more

My 84 year old mother went there for an oil change. They charged her $114 for the premium Mobil 1 full synthetic without giving her any options or quoting her a price. She then sat there for 3 hours because they didn't tell her that the oil they needed was out of stock and had to be brought from a different store. Then got very defensive when I called and asked them why it was so high. read more

Please do not take your car there, they had me paying someone else bill and did not want to give me my money back until I called the corporate office. It took them 4 an half hours to put 2 tires on. Another great experience. Needed tires and some service and they took care of me quickly which I appreciated. The associates have always been professional, friendly, and very helpful. I feel their prices are in line with other places so really the quality of service is what makes the difference for me. Highway robbery at its finest. I went in for a wheel alignment. An hour later I left with no alignment and a $1,400 estimate. Before I went to this establishment I called. I asked how long the wait would be for an alignment. The gentleman said it depends on how many people are here ahead of you. I get there at 6:50pm and they close at 8pm. 2-3 customers came in AFTER me and their cars were serviced before mine and they left before I did. Literally an hour later they call me to the counter only to tell me they didn't and couldn't do the alignment because I need rear control arms replaced. Parts, labor, alignment, and some sort of 1 year alignment protection program came out to be $1,400. They never even asked if I was interested in the program, just put it on there to get more money I guess! They did offer me a gracious 10% off should I choose to have them do the work. Here's the problem. The parts are only $200, $210.04 with taxes and shipping to be exact. Why are they charging me more than $700 for just parts? That's an egregious markup. My advice stay away from price gouging establishments like this, get multiple quotes, and do your own research. I'm a woman but I'm not helpless or stupid and I know a thing or 2 about cars. My 2008 Lincoln started having issues, and even though it was not tire related, the techs there were able to identify and repair the issue quickly. My car is now running better than ever. Assist manager Brie Logan told me to park and someone will be with me in about 20 minutes. I parked and came back in, she asked for my keys. As I started to take my extra keys off. She stated you don't have to take the other keys off. No one is going to your home. I responded, "I know. How rude and silly as a manager to make a comment of such. when I went to bell tire my car was perfectly fine. I had it inspected and a wheel alignment the day before. I went back to get axle seal repaired 24 hours later. the only issue I had with my car. I got into an exchange with one of the reps about price gouging. 'they are charging way more then the dealership for aftermarket parts' next thing I know my entire front strut is loose And my alternator goes completely out 5am the next mornin. after they have fully inspected my car not once but twice. could have killed someone or myself. they will not here the last of me. They Integrity use to have is a thing of the past. What I like about this Belle Tire location is that they'll really work with you! I've had a lot of tire trouble over the years living in the land of the potholes, aka Michigan. Instead of trying to get me to buy all new tires or rims, when possible, they'll repair your existing wheels- for a reasonable price. The staff is friendly and they stay open late on Thursdays, which is nice if you work late. I will say that you have to be a proactive patron. I had a tire repaired and then the steering wheel was shaking. I had go back to get that resolved. I hope you don't get a flat tire anytime soon, but if you do, just stop by this Belle Tire and they'll have you back on the road in no time. read more

Excellent service at this location. Another location told me that I would have to leave my car two days for a slow leak. And they didn't make any appointments. I understand that people are busy and sometimes short staffed but the location on Southfield offered to make me an appointment for today. I brought my car in on time and was repaired in 20 minutes. I had a flat tire on my less than one year old Tesla. Tesla wanted $121 + tax to fix it. I was able to drive to Belle Tire and after about a 45 minutes wait, a screw was pulled out and my tire fixed. It was done at no charge! I left them a tip for the team for lunch, which was a real bargain for me! I will be doing all my future business here whenever I can. read more

If they would have told me that it would be 4 hours I would have uber home and back. Told 1 hour 30 min wait. Great service and professionalism is what I experienced today at Bell Tire in Southfield. When you have a tire problem it is usually an unexpected expense and a costly one. In the past I've always gone to Bell Tire of Southfield to buy my tires so when a problem occured today I immediately headed over to Bell Tire Southfield. They told me they didn't have the tire I needed in stock but they would order it and get the car back to me today. Gash! Serves me right. I swore these scammers off, and yet back I went. We visited Belle Tire this morning after getting a flat tire last night. As long time customers, this was supposed to be an easy tire fix. I received a call mid-repair, telling me my car was in urgent need of an alignment. Having driven my car with no pulling, and having my car serviced by my mechanic earlier this week, who had checked my alignment and said the car looked great, I politely declined. Picked up my car, only to suddenly have my steering wheel completed cocked sideways and pulling. Something wasn't right. Hubby called and spoke with Ronald (the manager) who was quick to announce that "my guys didn't throw your alignment off!" even though they hadn't been accused of anything, and proceeded to call him a liar. I called to speak with Ronald, to ask if they would take a look at why my wheel was now crooked when it was fine on my drive there, only to be told that they only "look at the facts", and when asking if I was being accused of lying, replied "if the shoe fits"... Long story short, the Belle Tire in Dearborn did right by me and corrected my alignment, which was caused by apparently an incorrect tire rotation job after my new tires were purchased at Southfield. This wasn't the first issue I've had at the Southfield location, but it will certainly be my last. Avoid these scammers at all costs. read more

Had tires replaced. Immediately after, brake fluid, traction control service warnings appear. Manager insisted it's just a coincidence. Wanted an additional fee to check it. All of these sensors are in the wheel hub. You'd think the least they would do is check it. Will never go back Customer service provided the diagnostic at no charge. Appreciate the service. read more
