One of the best tire shop locations. Came here middle of the day between work appointments because I got a flat. The staff was real nice and understood that I needed the car done quickly. They checked too see what They could do. They said it'll take about hour to hour and half, but about 20 mins in, they had already pulled my car in the bay. Found that I had hit a nail causing a small hole, which they patched up. Checked for more leaks and I was all set. The guy working was real cool he didn't even charge me, saw that I had bought the tires in December. Was out within about 40-45 mins and back on the road. read more

Phil is a liar. Called and said the oil pan was flexing and couldn't change the oil. Picked up vehicle and I determined they completely stripped the oil plug and never told us. Called to complain directly. They admitted they stripped the bolt, but said they couldnt replace it because the pan was flexing due to being rusted. Summary: they screwed it up, never mentioned the damage, and now claim they can't fix their mistake. Take your car to a reputable shop. These guys are a bunch of CLOWNS! read more

This is the worst Belle Tire location I have ever visited. The person at the front desk responded as if he didn't want to help at all. I went in for a wheel alignment check, and without providing any estimate or explaining the process, he asked for my car keys and told me to wait for my turn. It seemed like they were going to perform the service without clearly confirming it with me. He also never told me how long the wait would be. After waiting for an hour, I asked how much longer it would take, and he simply said he didn't know, which felt very rude and unprofessional. In total, I waited nearly two hours before my car was finally brought back. If I had known the wait time in advance, I could have planned accordingly. Very disappointing customer service experience. I purchased some tires last year in Nov. 2024, Michelin which cost over 1,000 dollars, since I had the tires, each month I am putting air in the tires. I contacted the business and schedule an appointment and told them I need them to check the stems, because I putting air in the tires too often. I went to my appointment in the afternoon, they had 2 people in the office and all stalls were full. I wanted 2 hours and looked outside and notice my car was turned around. I ask the person behind the counter was my car ready and told him that someone got into because it was turned around facing forward. He looked over at another counter and found contact. He gave me my keys and know paperwork. I left with no update on the issue with my car. It happen again and I came and no one was in the front, so I left. I called an schedule another appointment this week and went on Oct. 25 and got more poor service. No feedback and tire pressure was not check and tires were unbalance. This was my first experience with Belle Tire, I usually get my tires from Discount ties and have had no problems. I will be contacting the head quarters regarding the poor customer service I received from the manager. I spent too much time and money to keep running back and forth. My wife went into the belle tire in lapeer they told her that the tires were bad so she purchased tires then they couldn't do the alignment because the shocks struts a arms and tie rods were bad. I said no and proceeded to take it elsewhere where there was nothing wrong with the vehicle and was aligned on the spot. The mechanics need to be evaluated and fired for trying to rob people of their money. This has happened several times at this location according to the reviews but nothing done just someone saying sorry about your experience. They prey on women at this location. read more

Last week Bell Tire on Telegraph refused to rotate tires and told me I needed new ones. I bought these from them 17 months ago and they have less than 24,000 miles on them. Back in 2014, my parents handed me down an absolute gem of an automobile: a silver '98 Honda Accord with a beige leather interior. As a 16-year-old driving around Birmingham with a vehicle built during the Clinton-Gore administration- lemme tell y'all, it builds character. That damn car would not break down; my dad was so impressed with the endurance of this hooptie that we bought three new Honda's. My frequent BelleTire trips started in college when I drove a Chevrolet Equinox. Though much better looking, that hunk of shit broke down seven times. The tow truck driver, Belletire manager, and I had a group chat called "Marlee's Jalopy." This location replaced my Chevrolet's four bald tires twice, unclogged my exhaust pipe when a criminal lodged a large Russet potato in it, and provided emotional support when an oak tree as old as colonialism cracked in half and landed on its hood during Easter dinner of '17. That vehicle eventually exploded in my driveway after I ignored the (apparently important) oil change sticker for 13 months. I take responsibility for that event and the fiery destruction of that van, but I was trying to avoid getting harassed and up-charged for an oil change by the men at Jiffy Lube. Anywho, this morning I woke up, and the passenger rear tire on my '19 Honda Civic Sport was flatter than my ass - 3.2 psi. It's no shocker that this here Belletire provided speedy service and tossed a new tire on my vehicle before I could even finish praying the rosary, which usually takes me twenty minutes. I traveled from out of state and needed a tire fix. They replaced all four tires without consent, claiming it was covered because it was a company vehicle and fleet service would pay for it. I immediately noticed issues with the car pulling to the right. I returned for balance correction, but I still felt vibration. Another shop found tire wear due to poor balancing costing another set of tires. Challenge their techs and question everything at this shop to avoid unnecessary replacements and expenses. read more

Got a flat tire driving home from work. There were two Belle Tire shops in the area still open, but this one on Telegraph was the only one that would squeeze me in before they closed at 8pm. I called ahead of time to let them know I was coming in. I got to the shop and was told it would cost me $20 to patch the tire up so I hand over the keys, grab a seat, and play the waiting game. 10 minutes later, the guy came back and told me that my tire would be $50 to patch up my tire... not $20 like he had told me. He told me it was because I had "low profile tires". Honestly, if they didn't change the price on me, I would have given this place a better rating. If they told me $50 up front, I would have still thought it was overpriced, but I wouldn't have been as upset. The guy was nice and all, but I don't think it's good business practice to charge a customer whatever you want, especially if you already tell him $20. The guy insisted it was the "standard fee", but I didn't see these fees posted anywhere. In my head I'm thinking this guy just came up with $50. It wasn't even a little increase either! It was 250% of the original quoted price! It didn't seem like it was a very difficult job to patch up my tire. After they pulled my car in, it was done in about 15 minutes. Anyway, I can't say that I would recommend this place unless you're really in a pinch (and have "normal tires"). read more

I needed a "smoke test" to determine why I my check engine light was on. The dealer wanted $300 for the test. I checked Belle Tire. There is only one. Belle Tire location with the required test equipment. They only charge $70 for the test. So I drove 35 miles round trip to verify that with the manager. I made an appointment for the test. The next day I drove another 35 mile round trip. I arrived. My appointment was totally. Ignored. It took 2.5 hours just to get my car inside. The place is clean. They have nice customer waiting area. Free coffee and WIFI. A table with plug s to use while you wait. The work was done well. He gave me a printed invoice with the results of the test with a printed price list as to what repairs are needed. read more

Taking a drive down the Interstate on a very blustery day, as Winnie the Pooh would say, is a great time to learn you need a wheel alignment. It's a fabulous opportunity when you find your loved one clutching the J.C. bar with their non-broken arm, muttering about Michigan roads and asking when the last time I drove in a straight line was. I discovered the lovely Discount Tire does not do wheel alignments after I got my new tires put on. The poor state of main roads and side roads all around the southeast Michigan area has done a number on my car. Potholes and many bumps do not do a car good. I knew the situation was bad when my chariot of awesome pulled to the left like a horse taking a fancy to a unicorn in a field. Deeming it still fairly safe to drive, I scheduled an appointment with Belle Tire nearest work. As a note, sign up for their newsletter and get an immediate $20 off coupon good for products and service. The quote at Belle for the realignment was already $30 cheaper than any mechanic in the area. The manager, Frank, got me in over my lunch for a job slated to take about an hour. Apparently everyone else in Southfield wanted new tires or an alignment too. I was forced to park in the far back of the lot and race up to make good on my appointment. Note the entrance to Belle Tire is *very* tight off of 12 Mile and anyone parked right by the door can block easy access, especially for larger vehicles. Take that corner slow if you don't fancy an insurance claim and a new bumper. After a 10 minute wait, my car was on the hoist. An associate came by after 30 minutes to show me the results of their measurements and where a correction would fall. I authorized the work and settled back into ignoring the endless Frankenstorm/election attack ads in favour of reading my Kindle until the work was done. The alignment took about 70 minutes and they had me finished in a jiffy, with a warning that the heavy winds that day might make it seem like the car wasn't straight. Frank told me to bring the car back in if I noticed any pull or lean otherwise. I almost forgot my $20 off coupon, but Frank graciously added it after my first transaction and I recouped the money. $30 for a realignment rocks. He returned the coupon, told me to use it for new wiper blades or the like, and sent me on my way with a smile. So far the car seems happy, it's running much straighter, and my pocketbook isn't bleeding dimes, so I'm quite satisfied. read more

Very horrible customer service by Fred, the guy who checked me in. I tried to explain to him why I needed to go and check on my vehicle after he told me that the technician did not follow his instructions. It was imperative that I went to go look at my vehicle and he had a complete attitude and told me that he didn't care and it wasn't his business. He became frustrated, threw his paper on the desk, folded his arms and was just real hostile. He proceeded to tell me that the issue is that I'm a millennial and that's why we are having this discussion right now. Really?!?! I'm an adult just like you and I know how to speak to people with respect!! It was horrible! I couldn't believe he was talking to me like this. As I was walking to my car, one of the technicians, Katie came out to tell me that she heard everything and she said she was sorry I had to deal with that and she apologized on behalf of him. The manager Kevin ultimately made things better by giving me a free oil change to be used next month because I called back up there to let him know what just happened. read more
