I came in for an oil change, control arm replacement, wheel alignment, and fluid changes, and from start to finish, everything went absolutely smoothly. I originally thought I needed a rack and pinion and return hose replacement (quoted over $2.5K by a dealership), but Israr showed me it was actually dry and didn't need to be replaced. He and the team did find a crack in the control arm, which I got replaced here (I physically saw the crack lol). I've never had someone explain things so clearly and honestly! You should bring your gasoline car for exhaust, oil change, tire, and alike. Ask Israr, who is such a pleasant person to deal with. He never do upselling! I'm extremely happy here because we found a fatal tire conditions which Nissan missed a day ago. They did the maintenance service a few months ago, too. They should have noticed the uneven exhaustion on the tire since they rotated! Can't believe what the Nissan mechanics did for $700'ish service - worthless! I'm glad that we found that tire conditions and the root cause (rear shocks) in Midas before something like bursting happens. Super satisfied! I took on my Toyota Corolla that I hadn't driven in 3 years and I had a working car in less than 2 hours. I first went to the store to ask for consultation and I was expecting them to have me tow the car and tell me they'll do inspection but none of that happened. Israr the owner of the shop gave me his own Jump starter kit and told me to take home and see if it starts the car. And it did. I got the car in the garage and he personally looked into everything. He changed the car battery, oil, coolant, filter everything. The car was working like a charm. He could have totally charged me more for the wheel rotors but he suggested I first drive the car around and see if the rust comes off. If the issue persists than I can bring it back in. Absolutely loves the service and people. Highly recommended. And the biggest plus point, the charges were super reasonable. Big kudos to Israr! read more

Beware and don't trust anybody here with your car at this location. The value isn't worth the trouble to getting an oil changed at a supposedly reputable establishment. I've been coming here over the years and I love it! Israr is great and very customer-oriented. I come here for oil changes usually but a few times have also had my air filter replaced, flat tire patched, and AC system replaced. this man, if you can call him a man, came to them to do an inspection at 1:15, they ate and said that they could do it only in 45 minutes, I said okay and came 45 minutes later, waited, he came out to me and rudely told me to change parks, I parked near the office and asked him how much longer to wait, he said another 20 minutes, I was sitting in the car and 20 minutes later I went into his office and he told me that he would not see me today because it was already late, I told him why he told me to come in 45 minutes, then another 20 minutes, and he said that I was sitting in the car and that I should come to him and not him, he answered very rudely, I answered that he told me to wait 20 minutes and because of that I was sitting in the car, he began to deny that he did not say such a thing, he began to be rude, I told him that God saw how it was, why are you lying, he showed an imitation of a gun with his hands, that next time he will be with with a gun, and categorically refused to serve me, I wasted an hour and a half for nothing, and also received rudeness and boorishness in my direction, inhuman behavior, unprofessionalism, how can you communicate with a client like that, I ask the boss to deal with this bad person, if you do not deal with him, I will be forced to contact my lawyer and then we will deal with it according to the law!!! I would have rated this higher as they seem to be nice when you get your oil change however, we had our oil changed last fall. Our car wasn't used due to some out of town travel. When we had the car checked out at the dealership for some minor recall work we were told that the panel under the engine had been removed and never replaced. At that point we were told that a lot of the quick oil change places remove these and do not put them back on. Makes it easier if you are a regular customer. I called around and found out that indeed this is something that a lot of places do. At this point I contacted the Sunnyvale Midas that does our oil changes. The man that answered said they had a bunch of the part from automobiles there and ours was probably there as well. Drove all the way there only to find out it was not, but indeed he was right, they had a bunch of other cars. Contacted the location again to see about them replacing it and they never called back. At this point I contacted corporate customer service and was told to wait 3 business days and the owner would be in touch. Nope he sure wasn't. Called corporate again and was told the district manager would call in 5-7 business days. Nope, makes me think that none of these people care how they treat their customers or their cars. Had to pay $300 to have the part put back on the car. STAY AWAY FROM MIDAS. They don't care, and leaving this cover off the bottom of the engine is standard practice. While the part isn't extremely important, it does protect debris and dust from the engine and transmission. How this company is still in business is shocking. For $10 more a dealership will change your oil and they won't leave the parts off. Lesson learned. *****updated. Surprisingly received a call from the district manager what wasn't surprising, was that after I said hello all I could hear was him dropping "f-bombs" while speaking to somebody at the Sunnyvale location. Customer service 101 dude.....Maybe lay off the swearing when you call somebody at their home. A child could have answered the phone instead of the person you were trying to reach. To be honest I'm not even convinced he was the district manager, why would somebody in charge talk like that when they're waiting for a customer to pick up. read more

Came in for an oil change and check engine light. Person at the front checked the OBD codes and they were related to the oil sensor, so turned out we didn't need to do anything after changing the oil, which apparently had completely ran out. They were nice enough to also check for oil leaks for me when requested. He also noticed my front brake rotors were worn down thanks to not having noticed my brake pads were run down, and they were able to replace them both same day. Generally very responsive to my concerns and even followed up with a text message later. Tips: come early in the morning to avoid a long wait, and (if you know what you're doing and what needs to be replaced) bring the replacement parts with you (very expensive and takes a while longer for them to source the parts for you. only reason this isn't a 5 stars) as they seemed more than happy to accommodate people who came in with their own parts. read more

My car needed the steering wheel removed so I could remove the instrument cluster and fix a broken odometer. The man from the Czech republic, brought out a tool and removed my steering wheel. In less than a minute. he didn't have to do that. I never paid him. he just did it. I am going to take my Mercedes to these people. I met with him again today. He's a very nice man and I trust he will be able to work on my Mercedes and get it working well. read more

I initially had high hopes for my experience here. I needed to have my catalytic converter replaced and welded to fit properly in my 2010 Nissan Versa. When I first came in Israr was very friendly and made a point to explain exactly what needed to be done to my car which was very helpful. Himself and the mechanic were even careful to make sure i had brought them the correct catalytic converter, which i hadn't, so they showed me the correct one to purchase and I came back another day for the job. I brought my car in with no issues and left after signing paperwork to pay $110 dollars for the installment and welding of my catalytic converter as well as $40 for a brake inspection adding to a total of $150. I received a call not long after dropping off my car asking if I could leave my car overnight, I asked if that would be of any additional cost and Asrir assured me it would not. He also told me he would call later that same day with an update, which he did not. THIS IS WHERE MY EXPERIENCE WENT DOWNHILL. The next day, Israr called me in the afternoon. First he apologized for not giving an update sooner as promised and then he told me that the work on my car had taken 3-4 hrs when it shouldn't have, so he asked if I could pay $250 dollars total instead of the initial $150. I was taken aback since the work on my car had already been completed and Israr hadn't called to tell me about the extra work till my car needed to be picked up! I wasn't sure how to answer so I told him I would call him back. When I called back, Israr sounded understanding of my argument that I had signed off on a certain price and without any notice this seemed unfair. He said that he "just wanted to check" if I was willing to pay more and seemed ok that I was not comfortable doing so. When I arrived at Midas to pick up my car I was SHOCKED to be handed a paper that listed my total as $175 WITHOUT MY CONSENT. While this is only $25 dollars over my initial quote, I felt manipulated and cornered into paying more!!! Understanding the legal issues of this now, I know I should not have signed the paper or payed the amount. However I was frustrated with the entire situation so much at this point that I let Israr know that was not the price we agreed on in person or on phone, but I paid the higher amount and left anyways. To top it off the mechanic was very cold to me when returning my car and as I drove away I noticed he had left my check engine light on which the mechanic should have turned off after completing the work. This left me with a new issue that I had to figure out without returning to this Midas. I WILL CERTAINLY NOT BE RETURNING HERE AND ADVISE ANYONE TO NOT SUPPORT A BUSINESS THAT MANIPULATES ITS CUSTOMERS. I HOPE THAT IF ANYTHING ISRAR WILL LEARN FROM THIS EXPERIENCE AND NOT ATTEMPT THIS ON OTHER CUSTOMERS AGAIN BUT I'M NOT HOPEFUL. read more
