We were told that they accept used books of any kind and will get a lifetime credit that never expires. Once you get a credit and buys a used book, the price will be less 50% from the written price. As the name suggests, you can bring your gently used books in and they will keep a record of them, and you will receive a discount of roughly half off of whatever you decide to buy in exchange for bringing in your old books. This turns out to be a great value considering the good condition and broad variety of the books that they carry. We can always find something good to read, and the price is definitely always easy on the pocketbook. The lovely people who work here are very well informed. I was looking for a classic by Pearl S Buck, and she knew exactly where it was located in the store. I have confidence in these guys, and I know that I can check with them before I go look elsewhere. A must see for any avid reader or bibliophile.

You'll notice how eager they are to help you obtain the book that you're looking for, whether they have it in stock or not, they will hunt it down and get it for you. Shop is ran and owned by Taz a 6-year-old dingo, and his human Mr. Otto, a retired high school teacher who suffers from bibliomania. Having a conversation with Mr. Otto is like flipping through an encyclopedia - though not always the right one, at first. But guaranteed, you'll learn something new!!! Awesome character! They talk, read, study, meet up, and exist together for a while. There's a different energy here that makes you want to slow down and be part of it. I love this place!!!!! There's more than just coffee and books here; there's a little community. There's a bulletin board filled with flyers for local happenings, book clubs, celebrations, etc. I came here one weekend to study and it, thankfully, wasn't too busy. The cashier was friendly and welcoming, there's WiFi, and a fair amount of seating. I can see this place getting packed during peak hours. One thing I noticed right away was a small book club meeting happening near where I was working. It helped me relax while I was focusing on my work! Liam and Kate were so helpful and went above and beyond at my visit yesterday. They gave me a time frame of when I would be called via the intercom. The selection of books, CDs, DVDs, video games, and other exciting things were all presented with visual aesthetics. The rest of the staff assisted me with where the restroom was at and another person helped me out with where to go by directing me to the way to get there. Liam again helped me out with my books I placed on to the push carts. Kate was there to help me out at the cash register after I found a few books I have been looking for at other book stores and online. I would like to highly suggest any book readers or book worms, any other physical media, or nostalgic items to come to this store and support a great collection of not only books, but a very professional team and staff at this particular store location. There's a center display right inside the front door with staff selections and new books. What they don't have in volume, they make up with a curated selection, and nice little tags with book descriptions. Bob was an older gentleman who worked here until he recently passed. He also sometimes worked in the Livermore store. Like many men, I got a lot of books here based on his recommendations for history. After chatting with me just a couple times, he recognized me when I came in the store, and steered me towards something I could not resist. I'll miss him very much.
