    Sushi burrito.
    Candice F.

Arrived at 7 pm on a Saturday night and about half the tables were filled. I ordered: - The Spicy Tuna Tower $10.50: Beautiful presentation, however the rice on the bottom was stale. Spicy tuna was just ok. - Sushi Burrito: $7.99: fried california rolls with a teriyaki glaze? I guess I should have read the description better. I've never had a fried burrito, so what showed up threw me off. Very salty. - Beef teriyaki and shrimp/vegtable tempura, with potstickers $16.99: Served with 4 shrimp! Also served on a plastic to go tray, which is weird, but maybe this reduces waste if most people end up with leftovers? It is a lot of food! Beef was a small portion but good flavor. I definitely ordered too much food for one person, but I wanted to try a few different things. Overall, the tempura was my favorite, but you can get that at a lot of places. The Spicy Tuna Tower was prettier than it tasted. Unfortunately, my standards are higher, coming from the Bay Area. Everything was just really salty and I ended up drinking a lot of water. On the bright side, the ambiance is nice and the service was excellent.

Best kept secret near the Ritz Carlton Las Colinas. The Music Factory Roll is to die for! Seafood wrapped in soy paper with a mild spicy cream sauce drizzled on top. So good we forgot to take a picture until it was too late!

We love coming here. The service is great, the food is amazing, and a great value. Highly recommend for a date night or family outing.

    The Tuna tower is delicious.

Went in for a Bento box, got the teriyaki chicken. Took one bite and it was horrible! It tasted like it had been microwaved. Really gross. When I commented to the waitress, she said she could swap it out for the fried pork option, but it would be more expensive. Wow. Ok...so I got that...and it wasn't any better. See pic...quite a few of the piece's had this gross fat or something, and it is not meant to be consumed. Oh, and when I mentioned to server while paying that the chicken just wasn't good, she then informed me it was defrosted. But it was grilled. Yeah...microwaved. Service was nice, she was just doing what she was told as far as still charging me extra for the gross pork. But sadly I'm already paying for this meal gastro-wise.

One of the best hidden gems in DFW This place is a must try for their sushi ! The service is also very welcoming

    Spicy Tuna Tower

For the price the best sushi hands down. I definitely don't come here for the ambience. Also, expect horrible service, I've been coming here 10+ years and it has always been the same. Servers standing around, not doing anything talking to each other when drinks need to be refilled, or we need to-go containers and the check. I can't remember the last time I came here and I didn't have to get up to get my own to go container and ask for the check. If the food wasn't so amazing, I wouldn't continue to come here. I highly recommend the spicy, tuna tower, the Cajun roll, the lobster roll, and the burrito roll. I don't think anything on their menu is bad, but these are my favorites. They do have a large menu, so several items to pick from which is nice.

    Sushi buffet - all good!
    Melanie G.

Very, very good! I popped in today for the first time when I saw they had a resonably priced sushi buffet. Not gonna lie, I kind of expected the sushi to be a bit dried out and flavorless (like at most buffet places) but it was fresh, delicious, and there was a great variety! Obviously they aren't serving up premium sushi for the buffet, but they had classics like spicy tuna, salmon, california, tonkatsu, and seaweed salad. They also offered delicious teriyaki chicken, fried rice, tempura chicken and shrimp, sauteed veggies, and fresh salad with dressing. I enjoyed everything I ate, and the servers were prompt, friendly, and attentive without being intrusive. The interior of the restaurant is quaint, nothing fancy, but clean and uncluttered. I appreciated the quiet background music for the ambiance. I will definitely be back!

As a former fan of "all you can eat" buffets, I noticed as I've gotten older, I'm no longer a fan of "all ya can eat", but hangin' out with da fellas is fun. What can I say about Japan House? 1. The restaurant had an extensive sushi menu for all you can eat. 2. Exceptional service! Our waitress was very attentive, she kept checking up on us and placed our food orders quickly. After placing the food order, the food came out quickly. 3. This restaurant was one of the first restaurants that used an electronic robot. The robot machine brought out the simple items, and I even saw the robot sing "Happy Birthday" to a restaurant patron. 4. The restaurant is casual, and pretty dark inside. 5. The sushi quality is about "middle of the road", not the best, but far from bad. What do you expect for all you can eat? Check out my pics..... And if ya gotta ask, YES......all that food pics I took, I actually ate all that food. I swear when I got back to the hotel, I was in total kanak attack (Hawaiian Paralysis). Lol!

We stopped by on a Sunday on July 5. It was packed even at 2:30 pm but that is a good thing because food was moving. I was pleasantly surprised that it was a better looking on the inside than it was on the outside. It had a cafeteria feel and several customers have complained about the worn seats and tables. It was fine by us since we knew this was not fine dining, They had plenty of hot items and the temperatures were pretty hot for the hot item preventing germ spread. I did not dare to try the cold items such as the sushi, sashimi, and raw oysters. Other customers have fared fine. The food was tasty but it also a place of gluttony. The one off putting thing was that when I went to bathroom, someone had thrown up in the sink. I pushed on because this was not the restaurant's fault. Some folks complain that they charge for toddlers. I did not mind because their prices were so low, I was wondering how they were making a profit. I returned to the bathroom later, and this time, someone had thrown up on the floor. The staff was cleaning all of this mess rather quickly. This is place of gluttony as customers stuffed their faces. Chances are that they had been in the sun and drank a little too much alcohol before they came. It was interesting experience since most of the customers seemed to be Mexican and African Immigrants. I liked the vibe of the place even though I was a little cautious at first. Go check it out of you have an open mind and aren't grossed out easily. I am not sure if I will return, but I am glad I at least tried this place out.

The restaurant is very small and has only one toilet in the women's restroom and one in the men's, which is especially inconvenient when serving large parties. The fried bananas were flavorless, drinks do not come with refills, and they don't have cups with lids for children to help prevent accidental spills. The chicken lasagna from the salad bar was good, and the fresh limeade was definitely a highlight. At $40 per person, it is about $10-$15 cheaper than some competitors, but the lower price was reflected in the overall experience. I would rather spend a little more elsewhere for better accommodations and a more enjoyable group dining experience.

I landed on the top 3 using chat gbt, and then I used Yelp to research them individually. I added additional instructions on each item I ordered in hopes that I covered my bases. After placing my order with various selections (Mom's super picky) for alternate options, the restaurant called me and asked a couple of questions for additional clarity and even made recommendations. She was beyond kind and warm spirited. I ordered at least one option from all menu categories. My total was a little over $100 for just the 2 of us, and delivery tip, etc. Note: My mother's residence is very challenging with parking and delivery when it's the first time. The grub hub driver was confused, but we communicated well The packaging was better than most. I stopped using delivery due to the drivers ability to get into the fix and sample items. They packed it so well that I could tell nothing was tampered. The food was DELICIOUS!!! The freshest Chinese food I've had in at least 15 years. Especially with delivery. We were beyond pleased. Every single item from the two types of egg rolls, pot stickers, wonton soup, beef and broccoli, shrimp fried rice, and the kung pao chicken/beef/shrimp chef's combination was fantastic. We didn't taste too much sodium (Mom's fear), and the homemade mustard was good but didn't give us the extra kick we're used to. The homemade red pepper sauce was well made. We love spicy. We're not into fortune cookies, but I decided to try one. I could tell they were not old at all. They reminded me of a very thin vanilla wafer.
