Luv this place and its food! Everything is so fresh and authentically Mediterranean. I've had many different platters here, but even having a giant scoop of chicken salad over a bed of lettuce the other day was delicious (and afterwards, some pistachio baklava so it wasn't a true diet meal after all). I always enjoy chatting with the owner (who is from Turkey). I also enjoy sitting and eating while overlooking the planes that land at the Princeton Airport which is right across the street - how cool is that! read more

Just had a catering order from this place and it was a bad experience. I'll never order from here again, neither will my office (we were regulars). We arrived home 2-3 mins late for a scheduled delivery. By that time, the delivery man (who is the owner), had made my 19 year old cousin cry. He was rude, abrupt and demanding. He was also rude to my pregnant wife when she asked him to prop open our screen door to bring the food inside. We confronted him about his behavior but he denied wrongdoing. Their food is okay. We ordered hummus, falafel, chicken & lamb kabobs. It lacked flavor. In the past, we have ordered from another local Turkish restaurant, Efes. Their food is better and so is their catering delivery. Efes has never given us issues despite. read more

Absolutely delicious. I got a rice bowl with sheesh kebabs. They gave me a ton of food and everything taste it super fresh. Rice was cooked perfectly and meet was tender. My mother and I walked into an empty restaurant at about 2:30 yesterday. The owner (I presume) was scowling despite my mother's attempts at making conversation. As my 2 month old has reflux, I am avoiding common food allergens (including soybean oil) which I guess was too much for her. I asked if she uses oil in the rice and she said yes, canola. Then I asked what oil she fries with - it would have been great if I could eat fries again as everyone uses soybean oil! She then said she will not answer any more questions. I know the food allergy thing is a pain but I've never had someone refuse to answer a question! So we went to neighboring Alfonzo's and had salads. He puts soybean oil in everything but at least he told me that. read more

I SO wanted to just love this little place. I have to agree with the only other "less than favorable" review on here and wonder if this is being reviewed by family and friends. Although I will say that we went for breakfast, and many of the reviews are for lunch and dinner items. It is a cute little place, and it's clean. But I would never go back because of the food. We had an apple "cookie" that really seemed like a lot of piecrust dough with a little bit of apple in it, not a cookie at all. We got breakfast sandwiches... Egg, pork roll and cheese on kaiser rolls. The pork roll was low quality and SUPER greasy. You expect grease with pork roll, but this seemed over the top. The eggs were fine, but the cheese was very processed, like Kraft singles. The sandwiches came with hashbrowns, which seemed pretty much like just potatoes... no onion, salt, pepper or spice of any kind. Very bland. Also, they only had black coffee which was very strong...no flavors, or even flavored creamers, which now-a-days seems unheard of. Again, we were really looking for a new little "joint" to frequent for breakfast, and thought this held great promise, but, without even *one* good thing to say about the food, we wouldn't waste our time and money giving them a second shot. Came here for the first time today with two others and was blown away. I had a chicken gyro pita with hummus, spicy ezme and homemade hot sauce as well as the chicken kabab plate with rice, hummus and side salad, both of which were outstanding. My girlfriend had a traditional western eggs breakfast with sausage, which was very good as well. I have been searching for good Mediterranean food in the Princeton area for ages and am so pleased to finally find an outstanding spot. Midpoint is located in the old Carvers location across from Princeton airport. The place has been well renovated, and we dined al fresco and enjoyed watching the planes throughout the course of our meal, which was surprisingly pleasant. Very reasonably priced, clean and delicious, I highly recommend Midpoint. Solid work guys! read more

An excellent find. Came in for breakfast the first time and had a terrific omelettes. While here we saw they also served Mediterranean food so we came back a second time and it's excellent. This place just opened up where the old Carver's restaurant was located. The food is mediterranean style. The restaurant space has been updated nicely. Clean and modern. The food is good and reasonably priced for the Princeton/Montgomery area. I had a stuffed chicken pita today, which was just delicious. I think the food is homemade. It's good food for a decent price in an area that sorely lacks good take out lunch places. read more

The price you see on the menu is not the price you will pay. The pricing online says 8.49 for a small chicken gyro platter. The in-store menu has this price scribbled over sloppily with marker so it's hard to tell if it's an 8 or a 9. Upon finishing the meal, which wasn't that bad. I was greeted with a bill of 10.15 which is a much more than 8.49. The employee told me this was "because of taxes". Taxes are nowhere near 1.66 at that price. I called the restaurant to ask why the taxes were so high. The same employee took my call, then decided to adequately clarify that the price was in fact 9.49, not 8.49. His horrible misinformation and service is why this review is being written. The food was alright. However, the pricing needs to be clear and the service can't be half hearted when the prices aren't written clearly. You will pay more than expected and the employees don't seem to care. read more

I've been going to Midpoint Grill for over two years and have had only excellent experiences with the owners and the food. Everyone I sent agrees with me - the food is fresh and prepared exactly as ordered. The owners are onsite and dedicated to great customer service. I've had most of the items on the menu and have never been disappointed. If forced to pick a favorite, I'd have to say the falafel, but be sure to also try the weekday specials like spinach pie and stuffed cabbage/peppers. read more

Oh my gosh the owner of this restaurant is a disgusting man. I placed a catering order and asked if it was possible to deliver since we live close to the restaurant, the man agreed. He came to my home 1 minute before I arrived home to take the food. My nanny opened the door, and he proceeded to speak very rudely to her making her cry. He also spoke rudely to me. He demanded my nanny pay him in the 1 minute it took me to pull into my driveway with payment. When I asked him why he was not courteous to his customers he argued with me in my driveway and sped off in his car. The food is mediocre at best, and he is a very rude man I will never return to his establishment ever again. read more

Beautiful renovation. Food is fresh and delicious. For lunch and dinner one can choose from pita, wrap, salad, or bowl with choice of protein, sauces, and vegetables. Gyro was nicely seasoned and tender. Coffee was very good and the homemade lemon cookie was great to finish off the meal. While there a number of people came in to pick up phoned-in orders. This seemed more like a take-out place, but some seating is available, even some outdoor seating! We went there not really knowing what to expect, and loved the food! It was a nice day and we got to sit outside. It is right next to the Princeton Airport and ww saw about 7 planes and 2 helicopters land and take-off in the two hours that we were there. We had our baby with us, so this was a treat to hear and see all the planes. They only have 1 high-chair, luckily there weren't any other children in need of it at the time we were there, but may be a problem if needed/in-use. This place was amazing! We stopped here for lunch with my family (who is not a big fan of Mediterranean but was humoring me) and the place was classy, the food was great and the people were friendly. It did take a bit to get our food (about 15 minutes max) but that was because it's all homemade and made when you order. There were enough options that my little brother was happy eating pancakes, I was happy eating falafel and my dad was happy eating an omelet. I recently visited this little gem in that small plaza. I was shocked to find it pretty empty. Food was exquisite!!! Service was a little slow as I had to announce myself. Awaiting for someone to place my order. I gave 4 stars because food portion was so small, not really fulfilling. I think for almost $10 the portion should have been bigger. read more
