The Paella Clasica (for two or more)
    Sean C.

Never a bad experience when dining here. Staff was attentive and very helpful. I ordered the paella and everything was delicious. So much flavor and definitely can feed 2-3 easily. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The establishment offers indoor and outdoor seating.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Very clean and chill environment.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Family and kid friendly and they also welcome Fur babys. Will definitely be coming back whenever I'm In town.

    Salmon ceviche was amazing!

Visited here twice in the past 6 months and loved it. They do get very crowded so be sure to make reservations. Service was friendly and food was super good. Our table had the ceviche, stuffed mushrooms and ahi tuna to start and they were all so good. My husband and I shared the seafood paella which was like jambalaya and it was amazing and enough food considering we had the apps. We all had the affogato for dessert and really enjoyed those too! [[HIGHLIGHT]]We'll likely come back in the area but I hope they do something about their bathrooms: they were so gross considering this is a pretty pricy place.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Table of 4 with drinks and apps came to $400.

We sat outside on a beautiful summer night in front of the fountain and expected a delicious meal. The food was warm, boring, portions were extremely small. We left disappointed and hungry. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I assume this is a popular spot in Princeton for visitors and no one expects an actual decent meal. It's more about the ambience and location.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We told the manager that the $46 steak was bland, unsalted and had no sear. He was apologetic.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Had a great time at Mediterranean for a conference dinner.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]We had the side room all to ourselves, which gave us the space and comfort we needed.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The servers were very friendly and attentive. The wine and mocktails were kept flowing and everything was served at a great pace. All of the appetizers were really tasty. We had hummus, salads, a burrata with tomatoes, and a medley of chick peas, mushrooms, and I think sweet potatoes (this was may favorite). For the meal, I had the salmon which was excellent. It was cooked perfectly and I loved the mushrooms and sauce that came with it. For dessert, we had the chocolate cake and the fruit tart. The fruit tart was the winner in my eyes. Overall a great dinner with great company!

The food was delicious! I ordered buratta and the no carbs pasta- so so good! Also a glass of champagne. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The ambiance is good.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The service did not match the level of excellence coming from the kitchen. Our waiter looked like she hated her job. Not personable- not smiling- not interested. That was disappointing. Giving a 3 just because of that.

Visited while spending time with family on the East Coast. The service was amazing, and the pita with hummus appetizers were especially tasty. I enjoyed my salad but I wasn't a huge fan of the chicken, which mainly had a grilled taste without much seasoning. My family really enjoyed their meals, especially the steak. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The restaurant is right in downtown Princeton such a charming town![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Project hosted a dinner here, they did a very good job. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The restaurant is beautiful. Stoneware place settings were unique, rich wood throughout, tables and dining room all created a comfortable atmosphere.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Our server was no nonsense, professional, and ushered our disparate group into a cohesive dining experience. Hummus and papas bravas were nice starters. Menu is a patchwork of Mediterranean influences, featuring Spanish and Italian dishes. Service was spot-on, and we had a memorable meal.

The food was amazing, even tastes fresh. Service was moderate. It[[HIGHLIGHT]] was lunch time so it got slightly busy. B[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]ut overall I enjoyed my time there. A suggestion would be free bread for the table to start.

    Paella

Visiting Princeton and stopped at Mediterra. Our group shared the paella and it was enough for three people with leftovers. We enjoyed the hummus, which a unique taste. I believe tahini was mixed in. Service was perfect & waitress was pleasant.

    Margarita and chocolate almond croissant

Went for their Sunday brunch and I was pleased. The menu is a bit limited but the food overall is very good. Our waitress was fantastic and the service was very good. [[HIGHLIGHT]]We ate outside so I can't speak for the indoor ambiance but the outside dinning area is great.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Overall we had a good time and enjoyed our meals. I got the smoked salmon bowl, a margarita and shared the chocolate almond croissant. All very tasty!

    Paella Clasica
    Rainey C.

We ordered the Salmon Tartare as an appetizer and the Paella for two. Both were delicious and the flavors were great! The Paella was lacking the crispy crunchy burnt rice bottom (soccarat) but the flavors were definitely there. We loved how generous they were with the portions, especially with the meats too. There's a few big mix of pork sausage, chicken, squid, scallop, and shrimp in the dish. The Salmon Tartare was great too, a nice light cold appetizer. Service was amazing, our waiter was the friendliest and sweetest. We came on a Friday night and every table was full, would definitely recommend getting a reservation before coming!

I would rate Mediterra a 4.3/5. It's a great dinner place and a decent lunch place and has been dependable the last 3 times I've gone. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The location is great and the indoor and outdoor seating options both have great ambiance.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The staff are very friendly and professional. Certain dishes(ex. Papas frites, salmon, chicken) are spectacular and well portioned, while others(ex. Burrata salad, meatball brunch bowl, calamari) are skipable. The pastas are a hit or miss but never too extreme of a miss. A little more on the expensive side but nothing out of line from the rest of Nassau street. The food is pretty salty which isn't to my liking but otherwise flavorful and well executed. I love a nice dinner out at Mediterra and this is a great pick with the perfect amount of options. I love that they have a specials menu too.

We went for the Valentine's Day prix-fixe menu. The appetizers were all delicious and my husband liked his food. I did not like my entree choice, but everything else was very good.

They have plenty of GF options. I had the Pastaless Lasagna, for example, made with Aubergines and it was delicious!

That kind of thing can happen in a restaurant next to the Princeton campus. This is one of the dangers of eating in a college town. So most of my observational powers and intellectual energy were turned towards general issues of demographic processes and global welfare and the way that these could be re-positioned in the social sciences. There was elaborate stuff going into my mouth. I was paying more attention to the elaborate stuff going into my ears. What was going into my mouth seemed overly fussy for what it was. Not only was the color / presentation top notch, but the taste nicely complimented the meat. In addition to our wraps, we opted for the falafel bites. There are 4 generous pieces with a nice portion of hummus in the middle. The spicy sauce has quite the kick! We enjoyed an authentic Turkish lime iced tea drink. Loved selecting from the imported drinks- gives it a foreign and fun feel. My favorite was the ambiance and Turkish music. The booths are set in chic cages and it feels like you have more privacy. The servers also bring the meal to your table- added plus for a mall food establishment. My only critique is the price. It is reasonable, but I expected a larger portion for the price charged. If it was a buck or two cheaper, I think the size of the wrap would match the cost. Because of this, I'd rank it a 4.5 / 5 stars. Overall, wonderful spot. Highly recommend!

It was quick, efficient, and mercifully free of small talk. A machine that doesn't pretend to care about your day is, in many ways, the most honest companion while still lacking the dismissiveness of the Gen Z stare. My sandwich arrived at the table shortly after, delivered by a human who didn't linger. We understood each other. I had the Pink Sultan. Chicken, mixed greens, red cabbage, pickles, and a sauce the color of a polite sunset. I read that the sauce involves beets, which explains both the color palette and the faint suggestion that I was eating something that once grew in dirt and had ambitions. The sandwich was good. Not life changing, not tragic. The chicken was tender enough, the vegetables crisp, the flavors balanced in a way that suggested someone had made decisions and stuck with them. I drank a bottle of Turkish Uludag soda, which tasted like citrus with a hint of optimism. It whispered, "I'm like Fanta, but regional AND foreign, which of course makes me better." The place itself is clean and modern, with that fast casual confidence that says we take our ingredients seriously but not ourselves. They make a point of using fresh components and well seasoned meats that rotate slowly on a spit, absorbing flavor as time passes, much like the rest of us. Everything I ate was pretty good. That is not faint praise. In a world where many meals are often either regrettable or unforgettable, pretty good is a kind of victory. Four stars. The kiosk asked nothing of me, and the food delivered something in return.

Greek Salad with cubechicken - 4/5…read more The Greek salad with grilled chicken was absolutely delicious. The lettuce was fresh and crisp, and the tomatoes, cucumbers, olives, and feta cheese were all fresh and flavorful. The grilled chicken cubes were juicy, tender, and seasoned perfectly. The salad was beautifully presented, and the olive oil and lemon dressing brought everything together. My only complaint is that the grilled chicken portion was extremely small, especially considering the price. I would also have liked a slightly larger overall salad. Despite that, the quality and flavor were excellent, and I would definitely order it again. Hummus - 5/5 The hummus was smooth, creamy, and full of fresh flavor. It paired perfectly with the bread and was one of our favorite appetizers. Beautiful presentation, excellent taste, and very fresh. I just wish the serving size had been a bit larger. Calamari - 3/5 The calamari was served as tiny strips instead of rings, but it was crispy and cooked well. The homemade dipping sauce was absolutely amazing--the best calamari sauce I've ever had! The only disappointment was the portion size, which was very small for the price. Even so, the incredible sauce made this appetizer memorable, and I'd order it again just for that. Chicken Chops - 5/5 The grilled chicken was juicy, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. The rice and vegetables were fresh and complemented the meal well. Everything looked beautiful on the plate. The only drawback was that the portion was smaller than expected for the price. Baklava - 4/5 The baklava was fresh, flaky, and perfectly sweet without being overwhelming. The pistachios tasted fresh, and it was a wonderful way to end the meal. Delicious dessert! But super small Overall Restaurant Review - 4/5 We had a wonderful dining experience at Namli Mediterranean & Turkish Cuisine. The restaurant was spotless, the staff was friendly and attentive, and every dish arrived beautifully presented. Everything we ordered was fresh and absolutely delicious. The only reason I didn't give it a perfect experience is that the portions are quite small for the price. If they offered slightly larger portions, it would be outstanding. Despite that, we would definitely return and highly recommend it for the quality of the food, excellent service, and clean, welcoming atmosphere.
