Chicken Kebob Plate with rice and salad and mango drink
    Katie D.

Mamoun's is perfect for a quick bite! I get their chicken plate and find it to be so filling and flavorful. The pita that comes with it is also always delicious. Every time I have come here, I have always eyed their mango drink, and yesterday, I tried it for the first time. WOW! It really does taste as good as it looks. Although there are countless options on Nassau Street and the surrounding vicinity, give Mamoun's a try next time you're in the area!

Came here to try the highly rated falafel - it did not disappoint. Staff at the front were super friendly and accommodating. I tried the falafel sandwich (4/5), falafel plate (4/5), and seasoned fries with garlic sauce (5/5). The interior seating is spacious and comfortable.

The food at Mamoun was tasty and flavorful. I got a classic east side pita and mint lemonade. Both hit the spot. It is great for a quick meal. They had self serve kiosks to order and someone to call your order out, so not much to say for service. Inside was clean and had plenty of seats. High and low top. Would be a great lunch spot if you were working or shopping in the area.

Previously enjoyed visits to the original NYC location multiple times. This location is great in the lively downtown Princeton area. Lovely well-maintained space with nice decor. Lots of seating. Order via user-friendly kiosks at the counter. Food was ready in about 5-10 minutes. Food was great...I had a platter with falafel, lamb, rice, grape leaves and hummus. Also had some baklava for dessert...also great. Very satisfying meal. Prices were reasonable given the amount of food you get. Staff were very friendly and efficient. Metered street parking in the nearby surrounding streets.

Great food, great service! They accidently sent me the wrong order and within a few minutes they made it right by sending a new order + extra to make it right. Great customer service! I'll be back again. Thank you to the manager for making it right :)

I'm torn between rating this a 3 or 4. It depends on what you're looking for. It's a 4 for those looking for a no frills, budget friendly eatery directly across from Princeton University. The food is fresh and speedy. They have plenty of tables to sit at. All were clean and the atmosphere is fun. Middle Eastern music played in the background and fun photos splashed the walls. What has me torn on the rating is I couldn't easily customize my meal. I wanted the tahini sauce on the side but there wasn't an option to request that. Everything was done via Kiosk in the front. I wasn't fond of the tahini sauce either; it was a bit bitter. As a aside, I ordered extra chicken on my sandwich and would recommend that because for me, it was just enough.

It was unique and delicious - Tuna Marine (a tuna ceviche)- bright and zesty citrus marinade, liked the green apple Mains: - Brown Butter Brown Shrimp Casserole- had shrimp, mushrooms, and thyme in a brown butter sauce. It was quick, efficient, and mercifully free of small talk. A machine that doesn't pretend to care about your day is, in many ways, the most honest companion while still lacking the dismissiveness of the Gen Z stare. My sandwich arrived at the table shortly after, delivered by a human who didn't linger. We understood each other. I had the Pink Sultan. Chicken, mixed greens, red cabbage, pickles, and a sauce the color of a polite sunset. I read that the sauce involves beets, which explains both the color palette and the faint suggestion that I was eating something that once grew in dirt and had ambitions. The sandwich was good. Not life changing, not tragic. The chicken was tender enough, the vegetables crisp, the flavors balanced in a way that suggested someone had made decisions and stuck with them. I drank a bottle of Turkish Uludag soda, which tasted like citrus with a hint of optimism. It whispered, "I'm like Fanta, but regional AND foreign, which of course makes me better." The place itself is clean and modern, with that fast casual confidence that says we take our ingredients seriously but not ourselves. They make a point of using fresh components and well seasoned meats that rotate slowly on a spit, absorbing flavor as time passes, much like the rest of us. Everything I ate was pretty good. That is not faint praise. In a world where many meals are often either regrettable or unforgettable, pretty good is a kind of victory. Four stars. The kiosk asked nothing of me, and the food delivered something in return.
