One of the worst dining experiences I have had in a long time. Our order was completely wrong (ordered the pork chop and they sent chopped up pork) We then asked for chicken breast instead, they sent out chopped up chicken that was dry instead of a chicken breast. What truly ruined the experience was the owner's behavior. Rather than apologizing or fixing the situation he came to our table telling us to calm down when we said we didn't want the order and declared the restaurant was "his kingdom" and called us entitled for expecting the correct food. We were looking for a place to eat and Hubs said that this place has a new owner and changed names since we last came here 3 years ago when it was called Pi, Pita and Pizza. When we got here, we were immediately seated after arriving. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The eatery is small and comfortable, with half of the space being taken up by a counter.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Tables seating up to 2 people line the counter while tables seating up to 4 people line the wall, which is half white and half pale blue. The tables are covered by dark blue tablecloths and a white sheet that depicts the map of Greece.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Because we went during the holidays, the place was decorated for Christmas. Little Christmas trees of different colors sat on all of the tables except for the last one in the back, which had small red flowers on it. A regular Christmas tree with garlands and ornaments stood near the front with a small Santa statue next to it as well[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]. I wasn't too hungry and ended up ordering Greek spreads (choice of 3). I chose taramasalata, tzatziki, eggplant salad. This was pretty good. We had enough pita to eat with the spread. I also ordered the Frappe, which I didn't like this at all. Frappe usually comes foamy. The top was foamy, but the bottom wasn't at all. I ended up giving the drink to Hubs. Daughter ordered Moussaka which has layers of roasted eggplant, ground beef, sautéed zucchini and potatoes topped with béchamel sauce and accompanied with Greek salad. This was surprisingly the best entree of the night. Daughter said it was very soft and delicious and that it was flavorful. Lastly, Hubs ordered Opa Greek pan pizza plain comes with 3 toppings. He chose mushroom, peppers and onion. This was pretty carby and starchy. We didn't care for it. Got to remember not to order Greek pan pizza in the future. We didn't realize until we got home that we got charged $5.95 for a custom item charge and had no idea what the charge was for. We went through the entire menu and food that we ordered and couldn't figure out what the extra charge was for. At first, we thought it was sharing plate charge but I ordered a drink and an app for myself. Note to self: always look at the bill before paying. That's why I'm dropping a star. Originally, it would've been 3 stars. Even though service was friendly and quick, I didn't care for the sneakiness of dropping that extra charge in the middle of the bill. When I noticed this new Greek spot on Yelp I thought it was pretty close to another Greek favorite, Pi. It is in that same location and is renamed with a new owner. It seems I went during the soft opening so the menu was a little paired down, but with plenty of choices nonetheless. I took out a combo platter, some humus and a chunk of baklava. I asked that the salad be packed separately and was happy I did, nice Greek salad. The combo came with fries but I would have preferred rice. The chicken skewer was good, charred pieces of white meat. But the copious and delicious lamb stole the platter. These were long strips cut from a roasting spit. A nice char on some of the edges, and the meat was tender and well seasoned. The tzatziki sauce was thick and went perfectly with everything. Later I had the mild a creamy humus, the platter and app both came with very good pita too. The baklava was in a syrup so I wondered if I would like as much a dry versions, no worries, it was good too. The new owner told me that he has been a chef for decades, and my first visit would support that. I plan on returning soon to try other items. While I'm sad that an old fav place is no more, at least there is continuity in cuisine. I hope to see other locals turn up for the owner. Opa! read more

Menu had so many options and the staff were so welcoming when we arrived to pick up our food. Next time will likely dine there to try that out. The food was next level. Delicious! I always enjoy stopping by this place when I am in the Hamilton area. Their Greek food is (in my opinion) the best around. Definitely "GENUINE" Greek cuisine. On my last trip, I had a Greek Gyro sandwich made with Lamb and some of the tastiest I have had in a long time. Also their home brewed/bottled soft drinks are simply amazing . George (the owner). I tried this place today for the first time and was met from the second I walked in with attitude from the man cooking. After I paid he gave me a lukewarm warm piece of pizza and asked if I wanted it warmer. I responded yes and added if he could add some tomato sauce. He then lost it and began accusing me of being rude?!? How was this rude?
