I hadn't seen a dentist in a while but then I chipped a tooth and was in a bind, so I called around a few offices, and Midtown picked up and squeezed me in that day. I saw Dr Doi, who was professional and thorough. I don't have dental insurance (yet) so we just fixed the tooth and got on with our days, no upsell attempts and no pressure to schedule another appointment, though of course they did suggest it. The only complaint I have is that I don't think I'll be able to go back there for regular checkups - they don't accept any of the affordable dental insurance plans, only Delta and BCBS (as of Nov '15). I have been going to Midtown Dental for 5 years now and had a great experience until now. My insurance changed and I was not told that the clinic is out of network so I was charged for a routine cleaning. When I called to ask what happened it took 4 different phone calls to figure this out. I was told that everyone's insurance is different so the front desk cannot check all plans ahead of time. This is ridiculous and leads to poor patient satisfaction. If I had any other work done I can't imagine how much I would have been charged. I was also told I filled out a form as a new patient that stated this. I'm sorry but I don't remember a form from 5 years ago. The front desk should be trained to inform patients that they should check with their insurance for coverage in case it changes. If that had been done, I would have realized this clinic is out of network now. And after all of that they refused to cover the bill for me. Very poor customer service. read more

Sadly, I agree with the comments of how the overall customer service and care has declined drastically in the many years I've gone to Midtown. Dr Doi rudely asked me If I chewed rocks because I wanted a filling done. He also stated that the hygienist got my teeth 'Sort of clean". I too, just like Elle W, have NEVER felt so disrespected in regards to service they are billing MY insurance for. I am not sure if they are experiencing financial difficulties that are causing them to treat patients this way but they deserve to be reported and shut down. i called yesterday to discuss a cleaning & make sure they understand that i will nit be getting xrays because my n. d. teaches, " one never gets xrays unless you have a broken bone." so i hardly sleep, only 5 hrs. my car is not working so i had to ask my friend to drive me. we got there at 11:40. appt was 12:30. they did not open door till 12:40. then she says, " we are going to have to have xrays." to which i reply. " i called, & they said yes i could get cleaning." so they lied, wasted not just my tim, but my friends time & gas, 2 hours worth. i will not ever come back. if i need to go to anither state, i will. stupid girl thinks she can control a former sheriff with the assumptive close. no we did not get xrays. we arent going to get xrays unkess i have broken bone. i make decisions regarding my body. not dr. guessers. i use computer diagnostic, which uses resonance & outperforms all medical. im not going inreverse to antiquated medical & guessing. do nit go here if yiu have removed drs. from the decision making position. if yiu are the decision maker, find people who respect. as long as i was pleasant, they thought they could trample my rights as sole decision maker of my health. lack of respect is ridiculous. read more

I found Dr. Tsumura and Midtown Dental from a Google search after moving to Denver and needing a new dentist- well over a year later he's completed 6 crowns for me, and an implant crown for my front teeth, plus two cleanings and a professional teeth whitening (I'm a 'regular' at their office!) He is the best dentist I've ever had and my crowns are better than I ever expected them to be- they look so real and amazing! Dr. Tsumura is so patient and friendly and answers all my questions. His assistant, Jasmine, is a doll and so sweet. I definitely recommend Midtown Dental and Dr. T for any dental work!! I'm so glad I found him. read more

I am new in town, and have been nervous about finding a new dentist that I would be comfortable with. I had an emergency and saw Dr. Tsumura. What a kind and gentle doctor! I felt more relaxed than I would have imagined. On top of that, Dr. T was able to fix and re-insert the crown I had lost from an implant! And he did it on that first visit. I was very relieved, especially as I thought I would have to have a new crown. After a great experience, I scheduled my cleaning and check up with them. Had a great experience. read more

I rushed across town to make my 11:30 appointment, only to wait 1/2 an hour to get in to see the hygienist. Worst part of that was the speakers were blaring distorted white noise the entire time. I mentioned it more than once to the receptionists who said sometimes the radio does that? It was a twilight zone experience. Everyone who worked there would come and go without noticing it, while us patients would look at each other in disbelief that they would not at least turn it down or better yet, off! Anyway, after getting in to see the hygienist, I was handed a form to fill out, which I really would have liked to have done while I was waiting 1/2 an hour. And the cleaning felt rushed and less thorough than normal. read more

I initially went to Dr. Sigor for a crown and asked her opinion on a tooth that has been bothering me. I told her that another dentist I saw said that the tooth could not be fixed and would have to be replaced. After she insisted she could fix it and offered me a great price, I allowed her to. BIG MISTAKE! 10 minutes into the root canal, she broke the tooth off (tooth #10: directly next to my front tooth).She knew I had no insurance and was paying for everything out of pocket. Not only did I have to pay $400 for them to extract the root of the tooth and another $400 for a partial (temporary cover up), but she NEVER offered my any help in paying for anything. In total I paid $3,000 out of pocket HER mistake (including the implant). All and all, I've gone over a year (waiting for the healing processes) without a front tooth and never ever got a simple appology! I will never go to this dentist again! read more

Don't bother, went here had teeth cleaned, saw Dr for exam then was told to come back for the cleaning and never saw the dentist again. I think the dentist should check the work after any apt is completed!! I was to need expensive dental work and they never called me back, after my insurance co had the approval response. I called the insurance people myself. I then called the dentist office several times, they said they didn't have it. I suggested they call delta for conformation. Really?? I suggest it??? Still have not heard from them, 9 days later ! Also, they made sure they made an apt for my dental work next week but still no response, after many messages left. The girls upfront could care less! One office employee stated a co pay minimal to what my insurance co told me .... maybe they wanted to set me up in order to get me to do it!! How can they be a top dental facility !!! Don't bother they are unreliable and definitely unpredictable!! I am lucky I found out now before they touch my mouth! Now they will see this and reply it's a mistake !! Sure!! Went in for a routine filling and the tech gave me a chemical burn on my mouth (verified by a periodontist the next day) & the newbie dentist tells me there's no way it's their fault and to have a biopsy performed! Stay away from these incompetent jerks! The manger Ruth Ann hung up on me when I tried to explain what happened. Awful business that shouldn't be supported by anyone! read more

They are going to find a way to get all the money they can from you. For example, after an exam, they recommended that I get my wisdom teeth extracted, but they ensured me it wasn't urgent. A year later, I scheduled the extraction. They gave me an estimate, made sure I had a driver, and everything. I took the day off. I go in and they tell me I can't have it done, recommending me to an oral surgeon. With a new x-ray and literally a 3 minute exam, that was another $110. If they had accurately examined my teeth the first time, they would have recommended me to the oral surgeon the first time. I don't think it was a mistake and they would admit no error. Just a sly way to rake in more money. These types of dentists are just another reason why health care is inexplicably expensive. They're just after the money. read more

I've been seeing one or another of the terrific dentists and their always friendly and helpful staff at Midtown Dental for 25 years and have never been dissatisfied. I moved from near downtown to Littleton 20 years ago, and after one brief disastrous attempt to change to a closer dentist, I decided it was well worth my time to make the longer trip downtown for myself and my daughter. read more

TL;WR Great customer service, great professional staff, hardworking dentists, extremely knowledgeable, and availability is amazing! I moved to Denver within the past year and did not find a dentist right away. Unfortunately, I had an extremely painful situation occur last Wednesday and decided to find someone ASAP, I looked on Yelp and the referrals lead me to Midtown. Midtown and Dr. Glassick's team were able to get me in this past Friday. When I arrived, I had my paperwork ready to go (located on their website for quicker intake when you arrive), and they got me in. Another unfortunately, I had to have a root canal, it was severely infected, and it was in a very tricky place. Midtown was able to refer me out to a specialist and I was able to be seen that afternoon. At this point, I am extremely grateful to Midtown and Dr. Glassick for being quick to get me in to be seen and for working their butts off to get me in to a specialist right away so I did not have to try to make it through the weekend in pain. I am going back in a few weeks for my crown prep, etc... And I plan on staying with Midtown for my dental care from here on out. read more
