They open at 7 a.m. every day which means you can pick up dry cleaning before work, in a pinch! That was my main reason for choosing, but was pleasantly surprised by other positives. 2. Free off-street parking lot 3. Located next to a convenience store 4. Only charged 10 bucks to dry clean a two-piece suit 5. Was notified by text that it was done a day early (I love the text notification convenience) The first gentlemen that I met was very knowledgeable and professional. The girl that I met when picking up my suit was very considerate and helpful. She even asked how I wanted my change! My suit came back fresh-smelling and appeared to have been pressed. I've tried other services in midtown and this place was exceptional by comparison. I can't vouch for how it is during the day, but in the evening hours it was quiet and very clean. I would consider myself a regular, doing laundry every Sunday. Once the place was sold to new ownership it's been a disaster. They let go the most bubbly person who was one of the reasons why I kept coming back. Then they started to remodel and take out benches for people to sit and wait. I decided to switch my laundry day to a Saturday, I arrived at 8:20 and no lights, no sign out, nothing was open. I go up and take a picture and it's stating Saturday they open at 7am. That's a lie. Very frustrating to pack a car full of dirty clothes and come knowing you won't be doing laundry. Losing business as we speak. New owners need to get it together. Very upset. read more

Never again. Machines are very dirty, they only wash for 25 minutes, dryers only give 4 minutes per quarter, no restrooms, no place to wash your hands, the guy who's the owner (or maybe just an employee) is somewhat passive aggressive. It's a little hard to define all that was wrong with this experience. When I went to pick up my "freshly laundered" clothes. After they had called and said they were finished...they had line dried them (p.s. I was there because my dryer was broken and I was leaving on a trip so I needed to pack my stuff into a suitcase) so I picked up sopping wet clothes. I had also washed a load of jeans. When I came back, the cycle had stopped and so they were still wet and I was now going to be late for an appointment. I asked the man if the dryers came open and he offered to show me the "good" dryers to use. Umm. No. That is not the solution here. Now, my clothes that are STILL WET upon my return to Sacramento, two days later, are musty and I will have to wash all of them again. I usually use LOVE laundry but I hadn't gone in weeks and I had a lot to do so I thought I'd try midtown as they were cheaper. On my very first visit I walked in empty handed to ask some questions, mostly just to see if they had capacity to accept my items, if they offered low-heat or no-heat drying options, and whether the laundry should be sorted or if they would handle items based on material. The guy with the British-sounding accent was pretty short with me, acted like he thought I should know how things worked and generally made me feel like I was inconveniencing him. I apologized for not having my things sorted and asked for a basket to do so. Then he weighed my things and gave me a ticket for pick-up in a week. I sent my dad to pick-up bc I was busy and when he got there, the had hung my items to dry instead of drying them on low/no heat, and they had no idea which hung items were mine. The lady held up items and had my dad take photos to send to me to confirm if they were mine!!! A couple of weeks later when I wanted to wear a pair of white jeans to thanksgiving dinner, I noticed that I didn't get any of my whites back! I had no white socks, no white tees, and was missing two pair of white jeans. Ugh. I called the store and a lady apologize profusely and said someone would call me back. The new owner called me and apologized. He said he thought they'd found my stuff and I could come in to pick it up. When I got there, there stuff they thought was mine was someone else's, and they had no idea whose it was. They would have just given it to me if I'd said it was mine, just like with my hang-dry clothes, and now my missing whites. Haven't gotten clothes back yet (from drop off and delivery service) but absolutely DELIGHTFUL interactions so far. They responded to my inquiry for into lightning fast and with a friendly and professional tone. When I arrived the place was clean and orderly and I could see packages of packed clean, folded stuff looking top shelf. The couple running the place were friendly and super helpful. Entire feeling so far was that one you get when you find your new next best spot - a family owned/run shop. Clean. Tons of washers and dryers. Washers come in various sizes at various prices. They have top-loading and High Efficiency washers. I did a huge load in a triple-load washer for $4.50 and I only spent $1.25 on the dyer to get them all dry. There's a cafe, liquor store, bar, and Subway all next door or on the block. Street parking is available as well as a fairly large parking lot adjacent. If you want to drop off your laundry and have them clean and fold it for pickup later on, it costs $1 per lb. of laundry. They have free wifi for while you wait if not interested in going to nearby places. I was hesitant to use a public laundromat because I've only had my own W/D or used the apartment complex kind, but this was no big deal. In fact, I liked it better than the Apartment complex laundry centers I've used in years past! Apparently good prices too! This is my favorite Laundromat for a few reasons: - Always ample parking in the off-street lot. - Drop off service (I don't use it, but I could if I wanted to). - Decent prices. I use the top load washers because they will take a bigger load for less money, those two conditions are always important. One wash in a top loader is $1.75 if you use cold water. - Mellow environment. - There's a café that serves coffee, breakfast, sandwiches and gyros next door as well as a chain deli, a mini mart and a bar all neighboring this place, so you can easily pass the time. - Free WiFi - Cheap, powerful dryers. The only downside I have experienced so far is that run times on their machines are inconsistent; the same cycle on one washer will be 28 minutes on one and 31 minutes on the same model right next to it. Same thing with the dryers, which are all the same. It would also be nice if they turned on the AC more often, they've done it before so I know it's there. Yep, good place. read more

The owner never greets or acknowledges me when I come in. And to boot never has change when trying to pay for service. How do you run a business and not have $40 for change when people customers are trying to give you money!? One of the worst laundry mats I've ever been to. Most of the machines were occupied (I think it was attendant doing laundry) when there was no one there. And the ones not occupied were out of service. The machines are incredibly small for the price you're paying. The machines at Love Laundry are way bigger. The PayRange app and the machines were not all in sync. There were 2 machines that wasn't available on the app PayRange which should have been. The machine and PayRange app at the dryers are confusing as heck. The whole vibe is dead. I'm guessing this is a good place to drop off clothes but not to do your own laundry. recently moved to midtown so this was my first wknd without my own W/D. my bf and i decided to go to midtown laundry since it was fairly close and had good reviews. we weren't sure how much it'd cost, so we brought $20 in quarters. all together we had 2 medium sized loads, 1 small load, and a load of blankets. it was a busy Sunday morning but we were still able to find enough machines to use. we were in and out in about an hour and had used up the full $20. not sure if that's good or bad since this was my go around w a midtown laundromat. may try out other laundromats in the area just to compare prices but wouldn't mind coming back to this one in the future. read more

Jason, the attendant, is a pleasant, amiable, British fellow who always greets me when I arrive and wishes me well when I depart. The owner also often stops by and is equally friendly. With the multiple machines at reasonable prices as well as minimal foot traffic at seven in the morning, I am able to complete my week's worth of laundry in a little over an hour. I recently visited Midtown Laundry for my first laundromat experience. I typically do my laundry at my apartment's communal laundry room, but I needed a larger machine to clean a king-size comforter. The gentleman working at Midtown Laundry was very helpful. He showed me how to work the machines and explained the pricing. He even loaned me three large softballs that I used to prevent the comforter from balling up while in the dryer. While I was doing laundry, a friendly customer mentioned that if you do your washing before 9:00 am, Midtown Laundry will pay for the dryer. I did not confirm this with the attendant, but the woman seemed like a knowledgeable, frequent customer. $1 dollar per pound. Washed, smelling good, and folded. Then wrapped in cellophane and ready for pickup. If you don't have time to do your laundry, drop it off to them and they'll have it done pronto...and depending on how busy they are, you might be able to get it the same day. I have been very satisfied with the friendly and speedy service the couple of times I've been here. I wish they had a TV so I could watch the Giants while I do a load. I'm a local acupuncturist, and I've _finally_ decided to let go of washing 30-50 pounds of sheets every week by myself. A massage therapist friend recommended Midtown Laundry, and I'm so glad he did. Pros: A buck a pound is a glorious price for fluff and fold. Super friendly staff. The magic voodoo they perform that makes my sheets about 100x softer than they have ever, ever been. Cons: Only con is that their fitted sheet folding doesn't come close to matching my hypercompulsive, Martha Stewart-educated skills. But that is a very, very small price to pay. Best place in midtown for laundry. They have a really nice laundry bag for only 8 bucks! I recommend getting one, they are large, and can fit a whole bed set, comforter included! Quarter machine onsite and the dryers are 0.25 per 8 minutes and have about a 3-4 load capacity. read more

I love this place. I am not a fan of laundry mats but this is the best!! I think they usually are not as clean as I like but not Midtown. This laundry is clean and staffed with very friendly people. Super Clean, never busy, affordable. Those are the best ways to describe Midtown Laundry. I recently started using Midtown Laundry, and I am very happy with the business. I have never had an issue here. The location is always clean, there is always a machine available, there are not shady folks hanging around, which is nice, and allows me to get other errands done rather than hanging out at the laundromat. They have both top and front load washers, with the top loads costing a little less. Am an a big fan of the large load washers. I don't sort laundry, so I like that I can get all my clothes, towels, and sheets in one load. Their drop off service is cheaper per pound than what it cost to do a load of laundry at our apartment complex. I appreciate the proper care of my delicates, and quick turn around.
