This is a great place to do laundry. The facilities are clean. The staff is friendly and the cost to do. Laundry is price point for the area. The staff is constantly cleaning, wiping down machines, wiping off counters, looking inside the machines to make sure no one left any trash or pocket change they even have regulars to come here. We're not doing laundry just to socialize with the staffbest place to do laundry. They also do wash and dry and fold service one dollar a pound. read more

It was time to wash all the king size bedding so I had to find a laundromat nearby. After reading some yelp reviews I decided to come to Laundry Garage because of how clean everyone said it was. And oh my goodness they were all right. I have never been to such a clean laundromat. And the attendant on duty was very helpful and friendly. I came on a Monday afternoon so it was not busy at all. There are a lot of machines and they only take quarters. But not to fear there is a change machine that takes up to $20 bills. They offer four different washer sizes. The prices for each machine are $4, $6, $6.75 and $10. And the dryers are 4 minutes for every 25¢, so it was about $1.50 per regular load to dry and about $3 for my bedding. The giant TV had movies playing to keep you entertained while you wait. And the bathroom was spotless! When I need to do some laundry that I can't do at home I'll definitely come here to the Laundry Garage! read more

This is an immaculately clean laundromat. The largest washer was $10 which I used for my king sized comforter. All the machines take only quarters which meant putting 40 quarters in the washer. It would be nice to be able to use a credit card or bills. The attendant was very friendly and helpful. Was on the hunt for a new laundromat and stumbled across this place and wow am I blown away!! It's not only walking distance from my house but just wow, so clean and all of the machines actually work. Typically when washing at a laundromat my clothes never seem to have that clean laundry smell but here they smell amazing and the dryers don't make your clothes smell burnt. I've written honest reviews of this laundromat and Frank, the owner, got upset about it. He even called me a scammer. So I'm the scammer and not the one who changed their prices without notice? When I first started going to Laundry Garage it was like a quarter for 34 minutes drying time. I was shocked when it changed to 7 minutes. Then I was shocked again when it changed to 4 minutes without notice. Everyone knows inflation has been crushing companies and businesses. People expect price increases. My beef has been why don't you notify your customers that you're doing it? That's all. There are other laundromats that still offer free drying so maybe Frank needs to come up with a new excuse. I had been coming here for years and today is my last day! This is probably one of the best and cleanest laundromats I've been to. The owner is a little weird and has said some inappropriate comments over the years but I've dealt with it considering what the surrounding laundromats are. Since covid I've only been here three times. Mainly, because the owners does not wear a mask and doesn't require his guests to either. I really needed to wash and decided to go here early in hopes to avoid mask less crowds. There were no patrons except the owner and I. And of course he wasn't wearing a mask. But he kept his distance so I was ok with that. I put my laundry in and ran a errand, came back and when I did there were customers wearing no mask and he wasn't either. I propped the door open so at least there was fresh air. But I hesitated because he and the guest that had no mask were talking at the washer I was using. As I approached I asked did he not require people to wear a mask. And he blew up at me! Started yelling and coming toward me screaming he's a small business and not Walmart! And that I would have to call the cops, and something about Marshal law! All while aggressively coming at me. So, I left my clothes and ran out to my car. I called 911 because he was so irate! And the operator could hear him yelling and she told me to get in my car. I waited for the cops but I called my husband on speakerphone and I went in to get my wet clothes to go somewhere else. The guy was still acting weird and irate. But then proceeded to put on a mask and hand me $20 and apologized for the inconvenience! I accepted it but did not say anything else to him. I was a patron for over 6 years. And while I understand everyone has different opinions about the mask policy. That gives no one the right to act like a crazy person in a threatening manner! If I were a male or my husband was there it would have been a different story! You just lost a loyal customer. Today I went in and the gentleman working Sunday morning greeted me, he then apologized for my last visit (Religious Solicitors came in while I was doing laundry and wouldn't leave me alone so he stepped in and escorted them out) I couldn't believe he remembered! that was months ago! Every customer that came in he greeted and had a small conversation with, this laundromat takes the time to get to know their customers and make it feel like a home away from home atmosphere. They are very helpful, if you can't pick a size to wash they will gladly help. They are very accommodating and just awesome. Never had a problem with the quarter machine and they have a great selection of drinks and snacks. They always have the best movies or shows playing on TV AND SOOO CLEAN!! This is my main issues usually with laundry mats, they aren't clean. This one is, so when your done cleaning your clothes, you don't feel like you need to wash them all over again. Not impressed. I got there at 9am and the door was locked with nobody inside. I tried the door twice more then opened Yelp to double-check their hours. By this time the attendant walked up from outside the back door of the shop and unlocked the doors. Based on the smell, apparently he'd gone out back for a smoke. Of what, I'm not certain. In addition, while he had on gloves, he wasn't wearing a mask. I now see it doesn't say anything about masks in the COVID precautions on Yelp, but c'mon: what's the point of wearing gloves alone when we're dealing with a respiratory disease? Sure the place is clean and the decor nice - and yes $4/load is steep - but I care more about my health and that of others than those things. read more

This laundromat is a little further from closer neighborhood ones, but I found that the good reviews on Yelp were accurate. Though not one of the new fancy modern wash houses around town, the Laundry Garage has plenty of powerful washers and dryers, reasonable prices, pleasant and helpful staff, and a clean environment. The coin-op washers take 12, 17, or 25 quarters to run, depending on the size of the load. The massive dryers (fit 2-4 loads at once) run for 30 minutes for a quarter, which is usually all it takes to dry completely. There are long tables to fold your clothes, and a few benches and chairs to sit while you wait. There is also a charging counter (outlets, no usb) and chairs in the back near the bathroom and a few nice TVs, one constantly playing the family-friendly movie of the day. Important things to know before you go: No cards accepted, but there is a change machine and the staff will gladly break bills too. You can grab a rolling cart out to your car to bring in and carry out your laundry. The guy who works there oftentimes will take one out to you or help you with your stuff to your car! The "ghetto factor" is low (at least the times I've been), but if you just can't stay and wait, the Serpentine Fox restaurant and bar is just across the parking lot! read more

This facility is always kept impeccably clean. They provide movies for the clients to enjoy and their prices are very affordable. For me, it's the cleanliness that matters most. The manager, as well as the evening employee , work constantly tidying up after each customer. Animals aren't allowed inside and I always have my dog with me. I walked in the door and was immediately greeted and when I shared that it was my first time, a nice gentleman led me to the right size washer, and showed me how it worked. It was a $10 wash because it was so big but he immediately handed me a $5 bill to give me half off because it was my first visit! This place really isn't that great. I guess the main perk is there's someone working there to tidy up and answer questions. Laundromats are generally really awful, so I guess that's why so many people rated this place highly. But beyond being in a not that great area and the short (30 minute) wash cycles, there were a couple of real problems: 1. All of the normal (i.e., smallest/cheapest) size washers were out of commission. 2. YOU HAVE TO FEED THE DRYERS QUARTERS EVERY 34 MINUTES. I've never heard if this sort of thing before. I'm not going to hang out at a laundromat for hours while my stuff dries, there's nothing good nearby, and half an hour is barely enough to drive home, drink a glass of water and drive back. I ended up taking my items to another laundromat (in an even worse location) to dry them (and missing out on the free dry with wash deal at that other place) just to save time. read more
