They have your typical self-service option on a lot of new machines, and also drop off if your in a hurry. The drop off is done in a timely manner and neatly folded and wrapped. TOTALLY DIGGIN THESE GUYS! I hate doing laundry, so... same-day drop-off at $1.00 per pound rocks! Eighteen pounds = $18. Happy; done! And the fluff & fold is extra good, 'cause I hate folding. Further math breakdown: 1 month's worth of laundry (for single dude) = $18/mo. Totally legit use of my cash. Comparatively, I fork out $60 per month for a daily cup of $2.00 coffee. When we first moved here this was where we went to do laundry because it was the closest place to us and the only place we knew of. After going a few times and encountering rude smelly people we decided that we needed to find another laundromat to go to. So we found Love Laundry s and we definitely love the switch. I moved from Citrus Heights to 21st and P about a week and a half ago- if you're anything like me, you start out moving house with the best of intentions, and at the end of the day, you're shoving every earthly possession you lay claim to into a garbage bag. This was me. My once-wadded clothes are now immaculate, they're soft, they smell wonderful and they're neatly and LOGICALLY folded and grouped together accordingly. Years ago I wrote a review about how awesome this place is when they returned $40 to me that I had left in a pocket. Well, I have to write another one now. This week I dropped off clothes to be laundered. They texted me to let me know everything was ready for pick up. I managed the pick up, but didn't put anything away until the next day...when I noticed two of my jeans were missing. I contacted them immediately upon discovery. Within about 30 minutes the owner contacted me directly. We went back and forth with each other throughout the day and, once he was able to speak with everyone who came in contact with my clothes, we decided on a resolution that we both were quite happy with. I have now used these guys for years and never had anything go missing. The speed with which it was handled was great and I will not hesitate to return soon. I was treated like a valued customer and, as a small business owner myself, truly appreciate how everything was handled. Hats off to you guys! read more

This place is great. I was worried about no longer having my own washer/dryer when I moved but this place is so convenient. For $1/lb I drop off my laundry and pick it up washed and folded when it's ready. And I know it is ready because they text me and let me know. Only two things prevent the 5th star. First, no credit/debit cards. I never carry cash so I have to make sure I hit an atm first but you can pay when you pick up so you know the exact amount to pull out. Second, I sometimes come home with other people's clothes. I always bring them back but it makes me worry that a shirt or two of mine is in someone else's closet now. I love this place... I wouldnt drop my drawers anywhere else in this town! Ive been to plenty of laundromats in my day and this place rates #1 and that includes the place in Colorado that offered a pool table for their customers. Midtown Laundry is always staffed by friendly, helpful staff that keep the place clean and orderly. The machines are in good shape and the dryers dry fast. Their machine prices are very reasonable. Even though I have washers at my apartment, if I have a lot to do or I just dont feel like waiting for a turn, I go up the street to Midtown. OR, if I dont feel like doing my own laundry, they'll do it for me for less than what I'd want to be paid if I was washing someone elses dirties.......Plus, I can stop in there and get change during the week of payday to last me the month without any hassles. I can usually pull right up and park in front of the place. Theres a great little Coffee/Sandwich/Gyro/Pho spot next door, a liquor store and a tattoo shop on the corner. read more

Prices for the machines are reasonable, it's clean, I've never had to wait for a machine, the attendants are invariably handsome, there's free wifi, sandwiches are right across the street, and they will wash your laundry for $1/pound so you can drop it and run like a fancy city man. read more

I've been taking my laundry to another midtown Laundromat for wash and fold service for about a year and a half, and I didn't know what I was missing at Midtown Laundry. Not only are the prices lower and the facilities much cleaner, but they can usually have my clothes back to me in just a few hours. I am so happy that I made the switch!!!! read more

Always very friendly service. I have only done drop off. Every month I take my bedding there for a wash since my washer at home is too small and I don't want to sit at a laundry mat and do it. So I drop it off, $10, and they text me when it's ready. My time is valuable so paying for this service is worth it. read more

I give this place 3 stars mainly for the nice employees and the low prices for ironing. I also like their hours, open until 9pm and their short turn-around time for ironing. There is some inconsistency many times in actually getting the ironing done however. I have returned many times to find my clothes unironed. But they do eventually get it done. Their washers and dryers generally work fine (except I wouldn't use dryer 19, as the screw keeping the door closed would work itself loose.) In my opinion, they could crack down a little bit on the way some of their "customers" misuse the facilities. Anyone coming into the laundry center should abide by certain standards, and certain people who use the facilities don't do so. read more

I almost don't want to write this so no one finds out about this place but I have to give them props. This place is Uber clean (they use eco friendly cleaners!!!). The machines are brand new. Unlike all the other downtown laundromats my clothes don't get ruined here. Also I love that they have a 6 load washer I can fit all my clothes in one washer - love it. Cons - Their seating is not comfortable and they don't have much reading material you'd be lucky if someone left behind an old SNR. read more

I'm always up in this place at least once a week, if I don't make week one I've I gotta go by week two cause I start to get stank! If you know how to sort your loads and use the appropriate size washer you'll save some change for the drying process...sometimes you get hit up for some change which is funny cause you gotta pocket full but if you're a quarter short you have to break bills...I usually tell em if they are around when I'm done and I got a quarter to spare I'll hook it up...employees are mellow, it's cool they are there because it thwarts people from jackin yo gear!...if you don't got a washer and dryer go here and check it out...it's no five star resort but it gets the laundry done...also has a couple places around it to get a some food, a liquor store to get a drank, and a tattoo shop to get some ink...and to think, you were just tryin to wash your socks! read more

This facility is clean, very chill and the change machine is always working. Add to that-that the dryers work well and they have decent folding space. Did I mention that they have wash and fold service as well? Yes-they have that....my biggest gripe and get under my skin issue is that they now charge you an extra quarter when you choose hot water on the washing machines. This wouldn't be such an issue if it was 'marked' somewhere but it isn't and once you have detergent and your clothes already in the machine-it's fairly certain that your not going to undo all of that over a quarter however I still consider things like this shady business which is why you get no stars for that! read more

Decently clean with an attendant on duty but they do not have very many washing machines and one machine is dedicated to staff only. Its not too bad if its not busy but once there are people inside there is a lack of washers as well as nowhere to sit or fold your clothes. The prices are a little high also for do it yourself laundry. I have not tried their drop off service. read more

Went here because it had good reviews. This place screwed up 3 times in one order. FIRST, I never got a phone call when my dry cleaning was ready. SECOND, they only gave me half my clothes when I picked it up, I had to turn around and pick up the rest that they forgot to include. THIRD, the dress shirts and dress skirt I dropped off had the same spots and stains they originally had when I dropped them off. Won't be going here again. read more

I got the wash and fold service. It was a lot more expensive than I thought it would be. They told me they would call me when it was ready. They never called. So I just showed up to pick up my things a couple days later. When I got home I began to notice there were several items missing. I had to go back and lo and behold they forgot to give me all my items that were on hangers. I seriously doubt I will ever go back here. read more

Very underwhelmed. I don't think I expect much from a laundromat, but I would like to be able to sit comfortably while I wait for my laundry and have a table for folding my clothes. The seats are like bus benches attached to the wall and there is only one narrow shelf for folding. Also, the prices are the same as every other place and the cleanliness is just acceptable. Midtown Laundry recently reopened under new management, with new washers and dryers, fresh paint, laundry service, and on-site supervision. The top-load washers cost a little more than City Suds, but they're much bigger - and all of the front-load washers cost way less. The place is clean, there's enough parking (though no afternoon shade), and it's small but not crowded - yet. Word is starting to get out. read more

One visit... and I've found my new wash-n-fold service! I dropped 65 pounds of laundry off at 7:00 am. Stopped back buy that afternoon on the OFF chance that the laundry might be done... and it was. Laundry looked clean, smelled clean, was nicely folded, packaged and ready to go - and a man who I'm assuming was the owner / manager helped me carry the whole lot out to my car in 100+ degree heat. While some of that might make you say "well yeah, that's the point of a wash-n-fold service," if you've had some experience with other options in town - you understand why I'm so pleased with the results here. This place is as good as it gets. Never thought I'd be writing a review of a laundromat, but Midtown Laundry has been a fixture for me for a couple of years now and never fails to amaze. I usually use the drop-off service which is super reasonable at $1 a pound and includes everything from detergent, dryer sheets, professional folding, and wrapping. Service takes one day or less - usually drop off in the morning and pick up in the evening. The staff is courteous and professional. If I do the laundry myself, the machines are new and clean and always do a great job. They even offer dry cleaning at super reasonable prices.
