My husband and I went in on a Sunday looking to purchase another vehicle. While the sales team was super kind and great to work with, the finance department is a huge scam. Being a Sunday, we were told that they could get us the interest rate/monthly payment we were asking for later in the week when more financial institutions were open. We asked if we would be able to use our CU for financing and was told yes. To ensure we drove off the lot that day with the vehicle, they had us sign paperwork (this was our mistake) with the agreement that we would get the rate/payment we were looking for. When I went in on Tuesday (they scheduled me to come in for the new paperwork), they had me wait as they tried to get a lower rate/payment than what I was offered at my CU. An hour goes by, the manager comes out & asks me what I am waiting for. So I explain it to him and he gets helping the finance person. Another hour goes by and they bring me back to an office. The director of the building comes by and asks what the situation was, so I explained it again. After waiting 3+ hours, I get told that my paperwork had been processed through Wells Fargo & that there was no lower rate available and I could not use my CU. To my fault, I should have never signed anything until I had the rate I wanted & my lesson has been learned. However, what their finance person promised us versus what actually happened, were two different things. Not to mention making me sit there for 3+ hours to tell me that it makes no sense why I was there & the original finance person didn't even speak to me about the "misunderstanding". Fast forward to waiting for my paperwork to come in through, we never received anything from the dealership or from the finance company. I try calling Wells Fargo and there's no record of me. So I call the finance department, get the voicemail and nobody calls me back. Ironically that same week I get a call from a different financial institution stating that I have a late payment. My car payment is now $200 more than we were expecting and not even through whom we were told. 12/10 do not recommend financing through their department. I've learned my lessons around the questions to ask and not signing anything, but I'd hate for others to get taken advantage of. Went to Midway Chevrolet... Made final deal for a car, signed paperwork, left with car. Agreement: $1,000 Down, Trade in, $400/Mo payment. Day later: We are going to need another $500 down. Two days later: We need you to come back down... sign the paperwork. But all the paperwork has already been signed. Salesman and/or Sales Manager: oh gee, I have to run out new paperwork because I made a mistake on the VIN number. Also, we are going to need another $1,000 down. Okay, fine... will find another $1,000 down although very disappointing (my need was more than my disappointment). Salesman brings in new paperwork... here ya go, just sign and I'll get you out of here. Look at paperwork... without informing me, buried under pages of the new paperwork, the payment has been changed to a little over $800. Now, I was about to sign the papers, thinking that everything was the same except the VIN number. Had I signed without studying the underlying papers, I would have lost my trade-in and then with the first payment or so, had a repossession... thusly leaving me without a car and with bad credit to boot. What if I had kids that depended upon me to take care of them? Well, I do have a job that I rely on to put a roof over my head and food in my belly.. and without a car I would lose my job. If I could give this zero stars or negative stars I definitely would! A few days ago, my car was taken over to the service center from Bell Road Toyota. I was not informed of this. I had to call and leave a message voicing my displeasure to Hugh before I got a call back. I've called him before and he never returned my call. I want my car back and This customer service department still has the car but refuses to give me any information or answer or return my calls. My next step will be going to the BBB and/or something like 3 on your side. It's ridiculous when all you get is the run around and zero customer service. If I ever get my car back, I will never bring it here again. My best advice...Run fast, don't walk away from here!! Whatever happened to reliable customer service?!? I purchased a 2019 Chevy Silverado from this dealership, and since then, I have watched their quality of service take a nosedive. They no longer offer free Lyft or Uber services when you drop your vehicle off to be serviced, and I had to find that out the hard way when I tried to drop my truck off today. They should have let me know this when I made the appointment a week ago, so I could have made proper arrangements. Instead, I had to re-schedule the appointment. On top of that, they refused to see if they could determine if they had the proper parts in stock ahead of time, so I wouldn't have to make multiple return visits. It was just a couple of burned-out bulbs inside the instrument panel, and I am sure they have tech/parts manuals available for reference. I mean after all; they are a CHEVY DEALER and I have a CHEVY VEHICLE. In short, it looks like I will now have to make 3 separate trips to this Chevy dealership in order to get some very basic service and repairs done, and if there was another one close to me, I would avoid this place altogether. Perhaps you should do the same, especially if you are in the market for a new vehicle. read more

I went to Midway few days ago for a blower motor for my Chevy truck and the man working the counter was rude from the start. When I asked about how to get a business account, he rattled off some form numbers as if I am supposed to know their internal process. When I asked if I could fill the forms out in person, he did not answer, only snapped rudely the forms were available online. He then asked me with what seemed like disbelief, if I had an EIN for my business and when I affirmed, he repeated that I could access the forms online. Seems like it would have served this customer better to get it done while I was standing in front of him, but apparently that was not convenient for him. I own two mobile mechanic service trucks and 2 Chevy trucks for personal use and will not be returning to Midway Chevrolet for any reason. Worst parts buying experience I have had. I usually do all mechanical work on my cars myself (I was previously a mechanic), but in the past, when there are things I can't do myself, I have had relatively good luck getting them taken care of by these guys. However, after this experience I will definitely NOT be taking my Yukon there for any more work. My dash cams verified what I feared. They did nothing to the Yukon beyond shuttle back and forth between the back lot and the customer driveway. I provided very specific instructions to Hugo Sanchez on how to reproduce a transmission fluid leak (when parked on a "steep" incline for more than two hours it would leak). They kept my vehicle for TWO days and did nothing more than park it on the customer driveway (there is hardly an incline at all) the first day and then left it on the back lot the entire rest of the time. They didn't raise it "in the air" for a visual inspection. They didn't park it on a steeper incline as I advised after the first day (when no leaks appeared on the flat driveway), even when Hugo promised they would. It didn't move for an entire day until I went to pick it up the next night. Also, when trying to call the service department both days (and when trying to make an appointment) the phone would just ring and ring. Nobody picked up! After three different attempts (about ten minutes apart) each day, I finally was able to speak with someone about my vehicle. Finally, when at the service department picking up my vehicle it took over 45 minutes for them to retrieve it after I spoke with someone about picking it up! There were other people standing around like me waiting for their vehicles as well. I don't know what has happened to this facility, but it is in desperate need of help. I will not return. If you are considering using this place for your vehicle service needs, I would not recommend this place at all. You have been warned. In response to the "response" from the dealer in the form of the number for me to call: I provided enough information in this review for you to identify and contact me if you wanted to. Your "boilerplate"/"copy/paste" response shows that you care about public perception but not enough to care about the customer. Too bad for you in this case. read more

I spent over 2 hours with Fernando negotiating over a vehicle when all the sudden I was told the vehicle was sold already. He apologized for it and they did not have any other Trax I was interested in. But they should have known this detail from minute one, not minute 120. Does anyone know what it's like to go thru that process of painstaking good faith negotiations thinking you were going to leave with a new vehicle then knowing you'd have to go somewhere else and do it all over again. So.... I dropped my car off at 11:00. Told of a 3hour wait for JUST for an oil change when yesterday I had made an appointment. 3 hours is long for a scheduled oil change. Regardless, I drop my car off and take the curtesy shuttle home. At 1:30 I call them (because I haven't heard anything) and they tell me "your car is done Shuttle on its way" 40 minutes goes by and nothing so I call again. I was Hung up on after 2 transfers (didn't talk to anyone on the phone) another 10 minutes later I get a call from the shuttle driver saying he was just leaving. It's 2:05 . And after everything is done it's 2:50 and just getting my car. Been her 4 times and every time an oil change is an hour and 30 minutes or more. Done doing business here and definitely wouldn't recommend. So much for getting things done on Saturday and what's the point of making an appointment? read more

I went online a few months ago and found a Spark I was interested in. Called and talked to them about it and decided I did not want to go through with it. Over the next few days i got multiple calls and texts from this company trying to get me in to buy ANY car it seemed. I told them no multiple times. Finally stopped hearing from them. Fast forward to yesterday. They called and said they got another Spark in. I told them I would think about going into look at it, I would have to talk to my significant other about it and if we decided to go in, I would let them know. The guy said he would put time aside for me anyways and if I chose to come and it was up to me. Great right? No because in less than 24 hours they have called me 6 times, left a voicemail AND text me. Being this pushy makes me not want to work with anyone at this dealership, and go somewhere else. Strictly for the Service Department (I can not Speak for Sales as I have never bought a truck from them before) The absolute worst customer service experience I've ever had. Contacted corporate about it, and they had absolutely no effect on outcome. Overpriced as well. Service advisors there are wearing untucked Dirty T-Shirts to work which is completely unprofessional. Don't take my word for it. Ask any of your friends if they've been here before taking your vehicle in. I was a mechanic for several years and you could tell they do not have an experienced staff whatsoever. The purchase process was very easy and Tennessee took the time to explain vehicle features. The finance process was quick and easy. But here is the best part.....I have had a couple of issues with my new vehicle and Tennessee took the lead and got my issues resolved very quickly (even taking my call on her day off!). He tried telling her she didn't submit any paperwork like we weren't in his office 3+ times ensuring this paperwork was filled out and submitted absolutely infuriated me. These guys will add unnecessary fees, run your credit and see what's possible before giving you a number on a vehicle and all sorts of dealer malpractice which is exactly what happened to her. I bought my vehicle at Midway a few years ago, I got a pretty good deal. I also get my maintenance performed at Midway, sometimes I feel I get scammed on the maintenance. I tell them specifically I don't want something performed and I'll see later they charged me for the service anyways (always over $100), their excuse? "It's included in the package". I doubt I will be returning to Midway for future maintenance. The overcharging doesn't occur all the time, the older guys are usually straight with me, it's the younger guys over charging me. My major complaint is they won't stop calling me. I received the first call 1-2 weeks after I bought my car from them. They keep calling always trying to sell me a new car. They always say they'll get me in on a better deal than what I have. I entertained them twice and went in, both times they were trying to double my current car payments for a less desirable vehicle. They've called me 4-5 times in the last 2 weeks. I've told them to put me on their do not call list atleast 10 times and I've also reported their actions to the FCC, but they still keep calling. read more

So had a dead battery in my 2020 Chevy Spark. I'm in the medical field and for reasons out of my control needed to bring it in under warranty. GM sent me a tow truck and dropped the vehicle off. Appointment at 1215 but the car was dropped off at 0715. Told the guys there sorry I'm way early, it's the only time I could deliver. They put my car and the service needed in line with ppl there and worked me in. Said it could be 4.5 hours because of the work in. It took 3! We test drove one, but it was out of gas so our first experience at this dealership was going to the gas station and filling it up with gas. Had an oil change on my Traverse. Picked up my car... water pouring through the sun roof. They didn't completely close the roof. 2 days later the brakes are grinding. They never did an inspection, just changed the oil now a simple brake service turns into extra $250 for rotors. They offered a check for the rotors. Never received it. Called in 2 weeks later and They say it is a credit for repairs. They can keep it. Never would consider bringing my vehicle there for anything. Keep your money and stick it. Numbers all made sense, so I went into the dealership yesterday to purchase the vehicle. The price of the vehicle went up about $1,500. Nothing at all changed on my end. I mentioned that to the rep (Will), he said he was going to fix it, so he heads into the tower to talk to his manager. Meanwhile, another sales rep comes over and grabs the keys to the vehicle I was trying to buy and his customer goes on a test drive. Will, is just waiting in the tower with his managers to clearly by time for the other customer to finish his test drive. 15 minutes goes by, no updated numbers to just simply show what I already agreed on. Clearly they are trying to play the game to create a bidding even though Will keept saying, your first Brandon, we will sell it to you... So I walk out to my car, Will comes out and says he will get the paper showing the original price...comes back and the price is back to what we agreed on, great!...however, they just moved the $1,500 from the price over to the fees section! After the second time I watched him walk into the glass office where a Manager supposedly is to discuss pricing, anyways he walked in one door threw out our docs for the vehicle and walked to us and had the audacity to say "sorry guys he's not taking them off". Came to have my 2017 Equinox serviced so while waiting figured I would just look around at the newer Equinox's. Once again the sales department disappoints and reaffirmed for me why I stopped buying from this place and bought my 2017 from AutoNation. Younger salesman showed us one that would have been decent for our new needs. But when we got back inside they had to call for an ASM named Alex who comes over and tells me that to be able to do the rebates needed I needed to get a truck. What? I don't want a truck first of all! I wasn't looking at trucks. Apparently they don't have enough rebates to hide the negative equity that my 2017 would have, but I had to ask for Alex's manager to get that info. The good thing is I don't lose, I still have a great 2017 Equinox and Midway doesn't make a sale! The service department is fantastic though! Had a recall issue that needed to get done. Made an appointment online. I dropped my truck off at the appointed time after being told in a phone call the same morning that the estimated time for the repair was two hours. Called later the same day only to find out my vehicle hadn't even been worked on yet. I needed my vehicle for work, so I ended up picking it up before it was started. Fortunately, things didn't end there. My service advisor was Oscar. He apologized for the miscommunication on the two hours, and went out of his way to work with me on an appointment day and time that would allow me to drop off my truck and pick it up before going to work. He got my vehicle scheduled and then called to let me know when to drop it off. He made sure I was satisfied on all fronts. read more
