The food and service were great! Bobby was our waiter he was very polite and funny. They have a rewards program so be sure to ask about it. This is a family friendly bar and bowling alley. No Minors allowed after 9pm. They have a video gambling area with 10 machines, lots of pool tables and dart game machine, and bowling lanes. The entire establishment is full of flat screen TV's so you won't miss any sports action. There are tall tables, low tables, and plenty of bar seating. My husband and I split 10 lemon pepper chicken wings with blue cheese and we also split a tossed salad with no tomato and balsamic vinaigrette dressing. Been here twice. Both times the it was very hot. And by hot -- I mean it was cooler outside. Service at pool tables was nonexistent. We finally asked someone and they sent a waitress. She came for one round and never returned. It wasn't very busy and I tipped 20% so I don't know why she didn't come back to check on us. Pool tables are ok. They need new felt, but they play good enough for my game. Could be a decent place if they fix the air conditioning and improve the service. read more

Midway is a big place with bowling, darts, bags and a big bar area. It is very clean, open and comfortable seating. I like to go on Sunday's because they show all of the NFL games. I have always had friendly service. Overall I think the prices are reasonable. The pizza is good but pricy when you add ingredients. $6 for Italian beef is costly and we did not get much on the pizza. The nachos are huge and loaded! The mozzarella sticks are good. Had a family bowling outing at Midway Landing bowling Alley and had a great experience! I was extremely surprised to see the amount of food options they offered and was even more shocked when everyone that ordered food loved it. Heads up Coors Lite tall boys are a whopping $4!!! Our waitress Kim was super attentive and helpful with getting our ordered drinks and food in a timely manner. They also have a party room inside for events. The one downside i would have to note is that the actual bowling lanes were extremely dry. Making it difficult for our professional bowlers to bowl like they're used too. read more

Went on a late Friday afternoon with the grand kids. Very accommodating staff . The bowling alley is attached to O'Hares Pub which is one of our favorite hangouts. There were 6 in our party so we bowled on 1 lane. Shoes and 1 game cost 56.00 which is not bad. Bumper rails available for the kids. Super clean bowling alley with various arcade games and pool tables . You can order food from O'Hares Pub and they have a great Happy Hour midweek from 3-6pm. Draft beers only 2.00! Midway Landing, on paper, is a really promising. Their execution, however, leaves something(s) to be desired. We planned to go bowling on a Tuesday afternoon and called a few days ahead to confirm the time they'd open. (We were coming with ten people so we thought it'd be nice to give them a heads up) After being assured it was noon, then being told that time was confirmed with another person, we were excited. Well, we showed up at 2:15p and were told they don't open until 4:00p... Upon returning at 4:00p we walked in and paid for lanes and shoes. We had two lanes and they had to do it as two separate transactions... ok. (Slightly odd but I know every POS system is a little different/quirky) We then went to our assigned lanes, #2 & #3. Why not #1, you ask? Because there was a guy bowling there. Not sure why, when there are 20+(?) lanes, they put our large group, with four kids, right next to a guy who is just trying to hone is game but... ok. No issue for us. After getting setup and bowling a few frames the pins got stuck. We kindly asked for help and the guy working the counter said he'd "reset" them. He did and we were back in... well, we then noticed the scoring/pin resets were half-a-frame off. Again, I asked the guy to reset it and he said he would. A few minutes later nothing had happened. A few more minutes, still nothing. We went back up to ask again and were told "yea... there's nothing I can really do because the bowling maintenance guy went home at 4:00p..." Confused, I stated: "But... bowling opened at 4:00p..." He uncomfortably shifted his eyes away saying "Yea..." While I won't say that these snafus "ruined" our afternoon, as by the end it was actually kind of comical, it did cement one thing for all of us: we won't be returning again in the future. read more

I Love this place! Heading there now, so I thought I'd write a quick review. A lot of money has gone into this new place!! It's a small gem that's been completely revamped, from what I hear. I've been here a couple dozen times. It doesn't get too loud or overcrowded. For those who knew the older version of this place, get that out of your head, because this place is one of the best places around. I play on the APA pool league in St Charles, but I come here to practice. Their Pool their tables are the best out there: Diamonds with Simonis cloth, and the best table lighting called Perimeter. I am getting many friends and family to come here, as it's a growing place with more to come!! Their Chicken Quesadillas are the best I've had at Any restaurant. They are freshly made with the exact ingredients I desire. I'll try other food items soon. PORNHUB SPONSORS LINE DANCING THURSDAYS. What should have been a nice night out to celebrate the matriarch of the family's birthday quickly turned into a very unfortunate evening for us and our children. There was a line dancing event, which the kids enjoyed watching, that is until the "PORNHUB" logo was spotted on a camera as well as the shirt of the cameraman filming the event. And if that wasn't enough, the DJ then LOUDLY announced multiple times that the event was, in fact, being sponsored by pornhub. For a bowling alley, where children are not only in attendance, but also WORKING (the kid behind the counter definitely did not seem even close to over 18), this seemed WILDLY inappropriate, ESPECIALLY at 8 pm, when children are still allowed to be in the building. This made us, as well as the older children and our mother, VERY uncomfortable. As such, we ended up rushing the rest of our night to get out of there as soon as possible. This was the first time I went to this place, and it was huge. The place was happening and had a great party vibe because of the variety of stuff they provided such as 14 bowling lanes, billiards/pool, an arcade, air hockey, a full sports bar and a lounge area. The atmosphere was vibrant with people and lights and the Sports Bar was isolated from the other things. For the party we were given a small space which had a picnic table for people to sit and eat, a table to place all our food and three (left most corner) bowling lanes. There was plenty of seating available both at the bar and lounge area. The customer service was good as well. As a part of the event my friend's aunt ordered the food in bulk. Following are the food items for the birthday event: Birthday Cake Vegetable Tray French Fries - Full Tray for 25 Green Bean Fries - Full Tray Sandwich Platter for 25 (Beef Sliders) 12-inch Cheese Pizza 12-inch Veggie Pizza Lemonade Any Draft Beer (Refer to the picture for the list of all beers) NOTE: We also ordered few bottles of wine separately First, I had some food and then I was drinking, eating, and playing simultaneously. There is no specific order I ate the food as I grabbed everything on two different plates, but I am going to explain each dish which was vegetarian. First, I had French Fries and it was regular fries like from other places, but I ate them with the ketchup and mayonnaise mix. Also, we ordered green bean fries, it was my first time having Green Bean Fries which were good. Both fries were served hot, thin, crispy, and tasty. There was not too much oil in either. The Vegetable Tray had celery, carrots, cucumbers, tomatoes, jalapenos which were chopped into equal cuts and were fresh. The pizzas were particularly good too. The veggie pizza had mushrooms, onions, and green bell peppers. The pizza was well made and had the right amount of cheese in both. My friend told me the Beef Sliders were also good. The birthday cake was creamy and spongy. For drinks, I got Bell-2 Hearted which was served in a nice Chicago Bears cup. The best out of all for me were the green beans fries and the pizza. After eating, we got the bowling shoes and then started bowling. There were high-end tables and chairs along with the couches closer to our lanes for us to sit and wait for our turns. There was plenty of fancy lighting near the lanes which made the bowling more colorful. But the score display screens were a little unattractive. I really had a fun time bowling as it had been a long time since I had played in a bigger group. Overall, it was just a lot of decent food and drinks where each one of us enjoyed well past midnight. The staff was generous and there were plenty of parking spaces available. Before heading to Summer Fest nearby, we made a pit-stop here to kill some time. The place is the perfect size for bowling, I think they have 14 lanes. Great condition, spread out arcade area, very friendly staff. Weird that they don't allow people into the adjoining bar area with bowling shoes, not sure what the reasoning is there. We bowled for an hour (automatic bumpers for the kids), ordered the fried green beans and the spinach dip (both awesome!) and a few beers. Great pricing for food and drinks, I think my Summer Shandy drafts were $6...not bad at all for a bowling alley pour. read more

Tried to book a birthday party at Midway. The "party planner" did not get back to us on e-mail. At all. Never got a reply to multiple phone calls and left several messages which all went un-answered. Went to Pin Stripes. Got immediate response and the kids had a great time. We'll book there next time instead of wasting our efforts on Midway. read more

We had a get together on the Tuesday before Thanksgiving (9 people, 4 of which were kids) and decided to go to Midway Landing to bowl in the afternoon. I had checked hours the week before and called to verify. I was told they would be open at noon. I also called again they day before we went to double check since there were conflicting times listed on their site. I was told it was noon. We went over at 2:30 only to find them closed with a sign that said they open at 4:00. We loaded up and went back to our house (luckily not far away) and entertained ourselves until returning at 4:00. There was only one lane occupied at the far end. They placed us on two lanes right next to this single man. I felt bad for him as our group was quite animated with the kids. We had problems with both lanes where balls were not being returned or pins were not reset. We had to go up to the desk several times (manned by two teenagers) who informed us that they did not know how to repair what was going on. We asked if they could get someone to help and they informed us that the maintenance engineer had gone home (the place just opened!) We asked that they extend our time as we were paying for an hour and had lost a lot of our time with the problems. They did comply. I find this to be a big problem when running a business. First, make sure your hours are the same in every location and have someone who can handle any issues and have your employees knowledgeable about your hours. It made for a frustrating experience. read more

You get a lot more down the road at competitors for parties. I've been coming to this place with my family and friends for years!! Had a problem with the lane not returning the balls back kindly let someone at the register know and he couldn't figure it out so he said he would send the manager. As we waited for the manager all of a sudden all the bowling balls that were stuck starting coming back we got excited to finally continue our game with our kids. Out of no where a lady shows up yelling at us that we have too many balls and we are supposed to have the extra balls on the bottom and I was like who are you? I thought she was a customer from another lane that probably needed bowling balls I was happy to share if that was the case because we didn't need all those balls they were all the ones in the back of the pins that were stuck. No it turns out she was the manager and we got into a heated argument from the whole situation told her we wanted to leave and just wanted our money back!! I've never been so disappointed at customer service from anywhere especially in front of my children especially from a manager from any establishment!!! I just don't recommend and feel bad for the kids at the register since they were kind and friendly it's the Manger whom disappointed today!! We will not becoming back!!!
