The invoice included the house call fee and the cost of the job. I also asked if there was a senior discount and Peter said no, they don't offer that. The next day I checked B & Z advertisement on line and they had a question and answer section where they said that if the job was done by them they would not charge for the house call and also that there was a 10% discount for seniors. I called Bob, the owner the next day and he said he would look into it and has never called back. I called several times. Very disappointed. I thought this was an honest company.

Bob Zaborniak, the company's owner, is a wonderful person who has always been reliable, honest, efficient, and knowledgeable. He charges very fair prices and always goes the extra mile to help his customers. When Bob's team arrived to install the new AC/furnace, they brought a large floor covering to protect our tile and carpet to ensure everthing was clean. Once the installation was complete, the crew cleaned all the surrounding areas to ensure everything was tidy. Bob also upgraded my thermostat to be wi-fi capable, which is a huge plus. We never hesitate to contact Bob whenever we need his services because he always responds promptly. After inspecting both the AC and the furnace. Steve said that the AC was fine, but that he "found cracks in chambers 1,2,3 & 4 of the heat exchange. The furnace must be replaced. Steve said it would cost $3800 installed. I called a friend who recommended another company who 1) installed the furnace for $2,900 and then when I mentioned that the heat exchanged was cracked he assured me that ZERO heat exchanges were cracked. I am disgusted. Absolutely disgusted. I would NEVER call them if you want honest and reasonable.

After a brief fix which didn't last long Mark said the system wasn't worth fixing further and should be replaced. It was 25 years old. He gave me a very fair price so I approved the work and his crew was out the very next day. They did a great job installing the new system and cleaned up the work area very nice. I'm very satisfied with their timeliness of response, and quality of equipment and services. I've had Mark out in the past and it's always been a courteous response with great service and price. I recommend Ceper be seriously considered for your HVAC needs

Mark was very pleasant, knowledgeable, professional, intuitive and spot on when he came out to diagnose the problem. He ordered the parts, came back out to remove the old, put in the new and got me and the kiddies warm and toasty by 2 p.m. today (Wednesday). The estimate was thousands of dollars less than others I had gotten. There was a slight issue with the heat/furnace being connected to the new thermostat, but they came out right away and fixed it. I will definitely use them again! Edited to add I have no idea why it says I'm in California. All services were done in Chicago where I live.
