The old office where I had been a patient for around 13 years was horrible with patient care and treating people in a kind manner. I just don't think that flies anymore in this day and age. Dr. Weigel is very knowledgeable about contact lenses, the price points, the advantages and disadvantages of many different brands. It seems he keeps up with what is current in the market. I have astigmatism and my prescription is not minor, and he was willing to work with me on what contact lenses suit my needs. He is comprehensive and kind. The optical shop in my opinion has several frames to choose from that are fashionable and current. I am very happy with the care received, selection of eyewear, office staff communication, and level of customer care. :)

He was very helpful in understanding what I was unhappy with in my last set of contacts and is currently working with me to find the right contact lenses for me. We first selected Dr. Byergo from our insurance list, and the fact they have two offices in our area. However, we have a friend that worked for some very top notch eye doctors in St. Louis that remembered Dr. B from when he interned with this particular group. That was the primary and final factor in our decision. He came highly recommended and we quickly learned why. Since becoming patients we have received excellent treatment not only from Dr. B but his staff as well. If you at looking for quality then this practice is an excellent choice. They have a very good selection of frames and contacts and they always make sure you have exactly what you need. I often describe them as a sit down restaurant versus going to a fast food place. When I started to question the costs I was given diff excuses trying to justify why my glasses were sooo expensive, even when having vision insurance. They told me that buying the same glasses with my insurance would cost me more based on the funny math used for the lens and bundling pricing. Highly recommend taking your prescription to another company or online to save you a lot of money! Sad!

There were slight indiscriminate indiscretions noted from interacting with her that left me feeling an overwhelming sense of feeling like I received inferior service. The young lady ignored me twice as I stood directly in front of her asking simple questions to assess how I needed to move forward with potentially purchasing frames, in which prompted another worker to ask if I received an answer from her. Overall, I had an appointment, received an eye examination , and purchased a nice pair of frames. But, I will not utilize this office moving forward for my family's or my own appointments.

I called the store an hour or two after I Ieft, they said they needed to get some approval before they could fix the matter. They eventually submitted it to the correct insurance, but their new invoice does not show the amount I already paid and they're asking me to pay $238.27 more. I've had numerous texts and calls trying to get this straightened out over the last 3 months. It's still unresolved. Because of their incompetence in handling the insurance and billing, I will go elsewhere for my eyecare in the future
