Outstanding customer service and outstanding product. So far I only have two of their products. The first item I purchased was their IWI X95 ejection port cover which was easy and simple to install. The next product was a big step up in seeing how great a company this is and that item was the Midwest Industries Rifle Length M-LOK Handguard which completely changes the handling, function and look of the IWI Galil Ace by a significant order of magnitude. I received my handguard during the Christmas holidays and was immediately impressed by the quality of the unit and immediately went to work following the YouTube instructions to attach the handguard. All the steps were easy and everything was going great with no problems right up to the final step of the final tiny little screw that should have been a breeze... unfortunately I experienced a small issue with the final bottom screw refusing to rotate in as the handguard seemed to not have any threading for the screw to lock into so I contacted support not expecting to hear anything as it was in the evening during the holidays BUT I soon got a response from Troy who gave some suggestions that might help but ultimately nothing worked and Troy remained fantastically helpful and promised to send me a new handguard ASAP after the holidays. Troy was a man of his word and followed up with quickly getting the replacement handguard shipped out to me and the new one assembled very easily with no issues. I recently purchased a muzzle brake for the new Ruger/Marlin 45-70 from Midwest Industries. Upon receiving the product it provided no installation instructions so I had a couple questions to assure proper installation. I reached out to Customer service via number provided and I selected the technical support option to address my questions. I was instructed to leave a message and that my call would be returned. After 48 hours, no return call so I sent a email via their website with the same questions I had verbally asked from the voicemail. I received a automated response that my email was received. I placed another call to technical support and left another request for follow up. I am now in my second week with no return call or actual email follow up by a person. I am hoping that this unwillingness to provide customer support is partly due to the holidays but until this matter is addressed I am placing this negative review until I receive satisfactory results read more

I bought a midwest handrail from one of their distributors, and myself installed it wrongly and rendered it nonfunctional, brought it in explained the situation and they gave me a replacement at no cost! The customer service I received was so much better then I deserved. They didn't ask me 20 questions about my purchase they just stood behind their product even when the issue was no fault of theirs. I have to credit Midwest Industries for doing many things well: 1. They have gained a reputation for designing and manufacturing several innovative products for many popular firearms platforms, including the AR, AK, SCAR, Rem700, etc. The reputation is well-earned. 2. They produce their own line of AR rifles in 5.56 and 7.62 that are top-notch and include components from other Wisconsin-based companies. 3. Their showroom is always well stocked and staffed with friendly, helpful firearms enthusiasts. 4. They've helped me locate and order a few obscure items. 5. They've received and processed several firearms transfers from other dealers for me. 6. They've always been ready with tips, tricks, and answers for my every question. I routinely drive past two other local gun shops to make my way to Midwest Industries. Those places are also good; Midwest Industries is great. read more

If I could leave M.I. six stars, I would. Actually no... that's not true... seven. I have been a customer of theirs for many years and have never in my life had such extraordinary customer service from ANY company, not to mention they have top-quality products. I had a few issues with my 300 Blackout pistol. Turns out, there was nothing wrong with it at all - the problems were caused by aftermarket additions to the gun. Nevertheless, Troy and Andy went above and beyond to help me. They shipped my gun back to Wisconsin from Texas, did a full tech inspection, upgraded a few parts to newer versions, then shipped the gun back to me along with rail covers, mags, and a couple of t-shirts... all for free. Then, when I had some additional issues with it about a year later, both of them were willing to help me troubleshoot it. They spent considerable time walking me through every option and solution. You know how sometimes it feels like you have to drag help out of someone because they already have your money and don't really care about you anymore? They're not like that. They were both genuinely happy to help. It isn't often that a company takes care of their customers like this and I am proud to call myself a huge fan of M.I. From a consumer standpoint, their prices are very reasonable, although not always as low as some of their competitors like MidwayUSA or Brownell's. Yeah, maybe you'll save two dollars on a BAD lever or a quick detach mount by purchasing it somewhere else. But for 1-2% more, you're getting the best customer service in the industry and the peace of mind knowing that if anything goes wrong, they'll take care of it. Worth every penny, in my opinion, and that's why I buy as much of my gun stuff from M.I. as possible. Great company, great products, great guys. read more

If I ever have an issue, they have sent me replacements overnight. I would like to that Andy, for all the help he has given me over the years via phone. I ordered a hand guard in FDE. When I received it the finish was damaged from an oil the left on the product during shipment. I wrote to their customer service and sent a picture of the damaged finish. The reply I had was they would send me a shipping label for returning the product with the new one. After about 10 days I sent an email asking where my replacement was and was replied that they had sent me a message that they were 3-4 weeks out. This information was never sent to me. They offered me a different type of hand guard which I accepted. The shipping return label was not included. When I pasted the reply from 'Melissa" of their customer service about her first reply that she would send me the shipping label she did not reply. I sent the item back so I would not be charged for two of these hand guards and included a photo copy of the shipping cost label. She again did not reply and refused to pay the cost of my expense to return an item that was shipped to me by them that was damaged. This whole transaction took about 6 weeks. Absolutely a dishonest person and or company. Poor customer service!! read more
