First of all, not sure why this place has such a good reviews. Long wait even with reservations, we sat by the bathroom and kitchen, it smells real bad like underground. The Bacanora tacos I ordered I could not finished it. The bacon was so hard and corn tortilla as well. Service was whatever. I commented about the tacos and she doesn't seem care. The place had a horrible DJ who did not really know how to mix and was redlining his channels so music was super loud and no one was dancing. The manager said that it is not a club but they had bouncers outside who have you show ID .... We did not understand why this place was not willing to make business with us. Bad service and bad vibe. I took a large group here for a work dinner last night and was very impressed with the food. The calamari in particular was divine. I ordered the enchiladas which were good as were the other appetizers I tried (guacamole and elote). My only advice would be not to come here for a work meal as it did get progressively louder throughout the night and by the time we left around 8:30 I could barely hear anything anyone was saying. That being said this would be a great place to eat with friends. The ambiance and decor were fun and the food was really the stand out star. read more

Our visit didn't start off well. It was a busy downtown and finding parking was already a challenge. We eventually parked in a lot behind the restaurant that had multiple signs indicating it was for patrons of the three restaurants. We followed the instructions to scan the first QR code and made it to the restaurant within the five-minute window to validate parking. However, when we asked for the second QR code, we were told we actually weren't allowed to park there and had to move the car. This was frustrating and confusing given the signage. The experience inside didn't improve much at first. The hostess seemed unfriendly and annoyed while seating us. On a positive note, our waitress was very kind, and the margaritas were excellent. The guacamole was also delicious, but the salsa was underwhelming--it tasted more like plain tomato sauce with a bit of heat. For our meals, my friend ordered the steak enchiladas and really enjoyed them, as they were generously filled. I ordered the cheese enchiladas as a vegetarian option, and unfortunately, they were disappointing. They were flat, sparsely filled with cheese, and lacked any additional ingredients like vegetables to make them more substantial. I've had frozen cheese enchiladas that were infinitely better and much cheaper. It was especially frustrating that they were priced the same as the steak version despite the clear difference in portion and quality. Our waitress did her best, but she was also managing a large group in another room, which made service inconsistent. We were seated in the very back of the restaurant, even though there were plenty of empty tables in the front, so our server had a lot of ground to cover to get to us and the large group kept her busy. Overall, the experience was disappointing. There were a few highlights, but they weren't enough to outweigh the issues with the parking and the food. read more

Today I have the worst experience at this restaurant I brought my family to have good time and the lady in the front with a long red dress was super rude at first she said it's a 45 min wait and then the people that got her after us were called so we decided to go and check what was happening we asked kindly when she replied she doesn't know how much longer it's going to take with an attitude she was really rude and everything was just so unorganized mind you there was plenty of tables that were empty please bring this issue how are you going to run a restaurant with rude employees and an uncleared organized restaurant and fix the waiting room the least there can be if they are going to make us wait is have AC. read more

The experience did not start off great because we had a reservation for 7 that I confirmed multiple times that day and the days prior. The food was to die for. I sat at the bar and he guided me through the whole menu and gave me recommendations in each section. I wish I got his name but he recommended both of these and the tacos dorados had the right amount of flavor and the perfect crunch with the salsas adding some depth and spice. The steak aqua chile had the perfect amount of bite that paired perfectly with the aquacate and pickled onions. The ambiance was peaceful and perfect for a little solo date night. Highly would not recommend this location. We had a 7:30pm reservation , at 8pm, we still had not been called. The lobby was FULL , with about 20 other people. When my husband asked how long the wait would be, they we're rude and stated there was 5 other people in front of us. Speaking with people in the lobby, they were also upset and stated that they also had a reservation and hadn't been called. The front desk ladies were unapologetic, very rude and unprofessional. If people make a reservation at your establishment, you need to be grateful and treat them with respect. All in all- we left and went to a different restaurant. This is awesome that they are open for breakfast as we usually patron the Chandler location that does not offer breakfast. Chris was our server who was very friendly and helpful with navigating the menu. I ordered the Chilaquiles roja (red) and my wife ordered the Chilaquiles verde (green). The food was amazing. The place was clean. It was a bit slow, but I think it's because they just started offering breakfast. We will definitely come back on our excited to try the other dishes. My biggest Takeaway was the pork belly that you can add to your Chilaquiles. And there were some extra thick bacon, which was absolutely amazing. read more

I think we may have caught this place on an off night, and I want to come back because I think with different service, it would be a really good experience. Plus, the food was amazing. We had reservations and were seated on time, but for some reason, the server seemed to not realize we were his table. After waiting 20 minutes and trying to make eye contact with anyone but not even getting waters poured, we specifically called out to see if what was going on. The server eventually realized his mistake, and it seemed like he thought because of this we wouldn't tip well (not true), so he didn't try very hard for the rest of the night. We saw him being really helpful and friendly to other tables, but we were treated like an after thought all evening. He insisted that we order all three courses for Restaurant Week up front, which meant that everything came out really close together. Our cocktails took a really long time to come. We had not only received our appetizers and eaten most of them, but our entrees were being set down before we asked where our cocktails were. This was a little frustrating because we would have liked time to appreciate the cocktails first (like every other table had the benefit of). The food made up for it, though. We had appetizers of elote and calamari rings, and the entrees ranged from the Southwest Caesar salad to the birria tacos. Everyone was pleased with their food (as well as our cocktails, once we received them). For dessert there was tres leches cake and fried ice cream. All of the portions were huge, and everyone had leftovers, despite it being on the Restaurant Week menu. Aesthetically this place was gorgeous as well. It booked through Open Table and was 10 minutes late stuck in traffic and then trying to find parking. We had to wait another 15 minutes to be seated. This was frustrating because there were many available tables and they were not communicating what was going on. I had tickets to a show that began in an hour and was getting anxious. While waiting I got a good look at the place and I love the design. It makes for a great atmosphere. There was a band playing instrumental covers of current pop songs. It created a great and lively vibe. Once we finally got seated we quickly decided what we wanted and when our server George arrived we explained how we were in a hurry and he said he'd put the order in and get it to us quickly. He also had great recommendations on the menu starting with the Paloma instead of the margarita. I love Elote so that was easy, He said the steak enchiladas were great, and the barilla tacos were the way to go. He really came through on everything. The drinks arrived quickly and the food showed up just moments later. And everything was outstanding. We were able to finish and get to our show on time. I look forward to returning when I can take more time to enjoy the experience. Not sure what was going on that took so long to get seated but once we did everything was just outstanding. We really dug this place for a nice date night. We didn't end up there on a night when there was live music but im betting that wouldnhave been awesome. Their drink menu had a list of really fun stuff and I went with the chichen-itza which had the dried grasshoppers and mezcal. It was excellent. CS was SUPERB! I feel they went above and beyond to make our dining experience a memorable event. I made reservations on Open Table and modified 4 times prior to our visit and we actually showed up 30 minutes early and the accommodated us with no hassle or fuss. The ambiance is fantastic, music was a little loud to start with but seemed to have been adjusted a little as the dining scenario progressed. Craft Cocktails were fantastic, wine selection was nice but pretty pricey I thought. Cinthya our server was super nice, knowledgeable and very accommodating. Food was EXCELLENT, We tried the Baconora Tacos-Yummy, Guacamole and Pork Belly Appetizers-Yummy, Quesbirria-Marvelous We were celebrating a Birthday and the staff does a magnificent job with sparkler, signage and flashing lights-Great attention to detail Cons-Parking can be challenging, The front entry could be cleaned up as the restaurant itself is beautiful, I don't know who's responsible as there are a number of restaurants in that building but the walk up to the Front Entry was not pleasant, all I could do was pray the restaurant wasn't anything like that and it wasn't. I would like to start off by saying the ambiance of this restaurant is pretty, I loved the mirrors in the hallway that leads to the entrance, great for photos! We didn't have a reservation but were sat right away. Our server was nice but wasn't consistent. After my first drink which was a mango margarita, I wanted to order another drink but our server did not ask us if we wanted a second round of drinks and didn't see much of her during service. I love the birria tacos so much flavor and good amount of meat but my tortilla was falling apart. Although I loved the charro beans that came as a side, I was disappointed at the serving size. It's a side but looked like a small sample size, literally 4 whole beans in the small salsa container it came in :( Based on the previous pictures from past reviews, the food servings are inconsistent. While others got a bigger ceramic container I was served with a tiny plastic salsa cup for my beans!
