Great food, ambiance and service! We came here because we noticed the extensive vegan and vegetarian options on the menu. We tried the kobacha hummus and the roasted poblano risotto. Wow! They definitely know how to elevate vegetables. We were so impressed with the flavor and the way the vegetables and risotto were cooked. The presentation was wonderful and you can tell that these vegan dishes were not an afterthought. Much love is put into their food!

Even though it's a 3, it's a 3.75. We scheduled a reservation for 7:30 on a Saturday night. We got lucky with street parking. The inside is gorgeous and the light fixtures are so pretty with the lighting beeming. The restaurant is freezing so being a sweater or sit outside. It was beautiful outside, very earthy feels but we were placed at the table in front of the door and felt the artic, cold draft every time someone went inside in or out. The staff was rather quiet and dull. No one really interacted with us. We said less than 3-4 full sentences with the server. The food was good. We got the bread board. The fig jam is incredible. The salmon with zater seasoning tastes blackened but the citrus bourbon glaze made the dish. The risotto was the best dish! It would be better if the carrots and asparagus were chopped up and in the risotto. The risotto was so flavorful. Shrimp was good but please take off the salad garnish because it has no dressing and just felt like it was there to fill the bowl, but we would order it again! I would come back but it wouldn't be a staple. The food was great but there was no experience for this price.

The ambiance and overall aesthetic of this place are absolutely beautiful--it's a great spot for lunch or dinner with friends, a relaxed date night, or even just drinks. That said, my experiences with service have been inconsistent. My husband and I came in for breakfast one morning and, while the server seemed to be doing his best, he appeared overwhelmed and possibly understaffed. It took quite a while before we were greeted, and service throughout the meal felt slow as he juggled multiple tables. On a separate visit, I ordered takeout. Unfortunately, the hostess who greeted me wasn't very welcoming, and there was another noticeable wait before my food was ready. The pricing is a bit on the higher side, but I will say the burger itself was excellent--great flavor, a nice char, and a generous portion of fries. Overall, this place has a lot of potential given its atmosphere and food quality, but improving customer service--especially front-of-house friendliness and efficiency--would make a big difference. If you're already staying at the hotel, it's worth checking out, but I'm not sure I'd go out of my way to return.

Everything was fabulous here!! I visited here on the fourth of July!! I ordered the summer hydration salad and it was delicious. My friend got the goddess salad with salmon. The decor and ambience are phenomenal. They have indoor and outdoor seating and nice large patio. Highly recommend it! We also got the hummus as an appetizer and my only feedback is that we got our dinner, but got our appetizers until later.

I picked here to celebrate my birthday & engagement brunch with friends! We all hadn't been here before and we were highly satisfied. Conveniently located outside Arizona center. We were sat in our own private room. Service was great, they were friendly and kept congratulating. The manager was nice too, he knew we were celebrating and treated us with treats! The drinks are big and strong! Worth the price. The desserts were rich in chocolate and yummy! Food was good, over a good choice. I would like to try the dinner menu for a date night. I will be back! Cute place for photos! And hostess was nice enough to take them for us!

Love how open this building is with natural light. Super nice and friendly staff and great food! They also do happy hour every day from 4-6 with great deals!! The Phoenix drink was very delicious, tequila and prickly pear with a hot honey flavor

Service slow and meal overpriced! Our short rib was $40+ and sooo dry. Chicken was mediocre. The best thing was the soup and bread. The place itself had nice decor and ambiance but we won't be recommending and will not be returning...

We had a business dinner last night. Great place we had a private room with about 15 people. Service and food was amazing. They made sure we had everything and the restaurant is amazing. Try the chicken it was done perfectly. Definitely when in Phoenix stop by!!

Carcara is a fantastic way to have a meal while visiting the famous Tlaquepaque Village in Sedona, AZ. Great food, service, and location! A terrific Mexican restaurant will hit the spot for you, just make sure to get here early! I loved the decor and ambience inside this restaurant! And since it's in the shopping village, you don't need to go somewhere else to eat your meal! And you certainly don't want to miss browsing through this beautiful Indian village, one of the highlights of my trip to Sedona! The food was great. What can I say. My black cod with pumpkin flavored rice was absolutely fantastic! It was delicious and I ate every bite. The shrimp and grits were to die for! A pretty generous serving and very flavorful! I like the assortment of bread and spreads they brought out before the meal, a very nice touch I definitely recommend this restaurant if you're stopping in the Indian village to go shopping. It was one of my favorites of the trip, enjoy!

Went for brunch on Saturday and I have to say, this place really impressed me. First off, they offer you a $5 mimosa for your first one and it was huge! We sat outside in a comfy couch and had nice views of the city. The server was attentive and confident with his suggestions of which dishes to recommend. Only thing I would change is that the brisket Benedict came with more brisket lol.

The bar staff are great. Angelo and his co-bartender I don't remember how to spell it. Lol. I love the vibe here and they have a decent happy hour selection for drinks and food. The short rib tacos and the buffalo cauliflower are delicious. The drink of the day was a blackberry margarita and it was soooo good.

love the location and the vibe inside. i've always been a fan of this place. I've been here for dinner which is great. Brunch, however, was even better. We all had espresso martinis with tequila for sunday funday. The crab cake benedict was the best I've had - nice and crispy and flavorful. It was actually filling and i loved the watermelon. We also got free samples of champagne, so I couldn't complain. Great place to celebrate a birthday too! Our server Lilly was the absolute best.

First time in Arizona ! And added this to my itinerary and wow did not disappoint. Start off with my beer ! Ice cold !! The coldest beer I have ever had in my 30 years of living lol ! So good ordered two ! The food was delicious and fresh ! We sat outside and the vibe was there! We enjoyed the sunset on a beautiful Sunday ! The service was good and accommodating overall definitely recommend stopping by and at least grabbing a drink and a basket of their fires !! So delicious! 10/10 !

Hello, I was wondering what the price range was for this restaurant?

    $$-$$$ Appetizers $10.00 to $20.00 Entress $25.00 to $35.00…

Is this located inside a hotel ? Name please or just near one ? Where is the best place to park ? Do they validate parking as well. Many thanks :)

Carry On actually called me to confirm our "tickets," which I thought was really cute. The whole experience kind of started a couple of days before our actual "departure time." They also reminded us to park in the Renaissance Square parking garage under Wren & Wolf, and they were able to validate our parking for three hours. We had to go to Wren & Wolf first to pick up our Carry On tickets. We got there early, and they let us relax in their couch area while we waited for our departure time. The walk from the Renaissance Square parking garage to Wren & Wolf was easy. You just follow the signs, and the whole walk is inside the building, which was perfect because it was so hot outside. You won't miss it because you'll see the Carry On Air flight schedule above the gate door. Right on time, we were greeted by a friendly flight attendant. Once we walked into the cabin, it really felt like we were inside a first-class flight lounge. Our flight attendant served us drinks right after we sat down, and we also ordered more cocktails and snacks from their menu. The captain spoke to us over the speaker, just like on a real flight. It was busy, but not packed, which made the service stand out more than it should have. I had to ask for water twice, never got a refill, and overall felt largely ignored--minimal eye contact, no real warmth, just an impersonal feel that didn't match the space. It felt like a place that may be a bit of a victim of its own success--popularity has grown, but delivery hasn't fully kept pace. Part of the appeal here is the permanent taco truck outside, which I know from past visits is excellent, and I love the truck's outspoken, unapologetic support for immigrants. That said, the cocktail itself was excellent. I was specifically looking for a coffee-based drink before heading to another event, and the Cambures al Estilo Foster delivered on flavor. It was tiny, though--served in a small stemmed glass, gone in a few sips. It did the job, but some may find the portion underwhelming for the price. No major complaints, but nothing pulling me back either. I'm adding a fourth star on a bit of a hunch--I'd like to think they can dial it back in if I return.

But, if you're looking for a really cool bar, KWSC is for you. I stopped by on a week day evening around 8:30 p.m. Located in Roosevelt Row, while there isn't parking, I found free parking on the street a few minutes away on foot. Ambiance (4.5/5): My type of spot. Dimly lit with a speakeasy vibe. There are eight or so seats at the bar, and the rest of your seating options consist of comfortable chairs and sofas. You'll see a lot of photos of people's bums on the walls lol. This is indeed part of the appeal. For free, if you would like, they will take a polaroid of your butt and memorialize you eternally on the walls. While I didn't do that, if that's up your alley, go for it. Service (2/5): This is the main area of improvement. After being seated, I was greeted promptly and got my first cocktail promptly. From there, things fell apart. I had to grab the bartender's attention to order my second drink and to close out. It was a week day and they weren't busy. And there were two bartenders. A lack of attentiveness. When I closed out, I noticed that the cocktails were both $2 more expensive than what was listed on the menu. When I inquired, I was told that the menus were outdated... umm what? If you're not going to re-print your menus, give people a heads-up when they arrive. I understand that most people won't notice, but this is deception. Food (N/A): I was on a liquid diet. If you're trying to eat here, all they have is snacks. The menu doesn't specify but I'm thinking it's probably chips or somethign like that. Drinks (4/5): A lengthy, and interesting, cocktail list. Similar to a speakeasy, you're going to see creativity and an interesting blend of flavors here. The most popular drink is Fuck Nazis. We're seeing a theme here. KWSC is an interesting spot. For various dollar amounts, you can get funny things outside of the polaroids of your bum. My first cocktail was great. My second one, a tiki drink, not so much. The menu said that there would be some flame action happening. It didn't. Just another example of the service falling short. Back then, the cocktails felt intentional and creative, not just rushed out for volume. The staff remembered regulars, conversations flowed naturally, and the whole place had this warm, eclectic energy that made you want to stay for hours. Even on busy nights, it somehow still felt personal. Unfortunately, over the last couple of years, the vibe has changed quite a bit. The drinks just aren't as consistently good as they used to be, especially considering the prices now. Service feels far more transactional and impersonal, and the atmosphere that once made this place stand out has faded into something much more generic.
