It is inconveniently located in back and down one floor, of a small shopping plaza in downtown Bartlett; the Google maps picture is accurate. Ok, I get it rent is cheaper here, and you are a small mom & pop shop. Giving you a pass on this one. Their website accurately portrays the goods sold here - except - a reference scale for the products; my attached pictures show the LARGE container next to a ruler (in inches). Holy c***, I said, as my package was handed to me at pickup. Would a 'small' require an electron microscope to view it? You be the judge. Mind you my cheesecake DNA has one standard only - Eli's of Chicago. This was nowhere near this standard so it wouldn't be a fair comparison. Cost - $14.56 with tax, not a big hit on my wallet, but it will be the last hit from this establishment as I am not coming back - ever As far as a 'bang for the buck' factor - sorry again, sure cant say that Did not buy it or consume it myself, I let another person in the household be the crash test dummy; sure glad I did p.s. I take no pleasure at all in writing a review like this, but in all honesty, I have to call it like I see it.

We ordered the pot of Adeni chai and beef samosas. The chai came out piping hot and was made fresh. It was perfectly made with cardamom and the cups were a perfect size to just sit and enjoy. The samosas were delicious. The good thing is they are baked not fried and they are not a bit oily. They are generously filled and seasoned perfectly! They have a variety of seating areas depending on your group be it big, small, intimate. comfort or work with booths, chairs, tables, and lounge areas. They have relaxing music playing which provides a nice vibe. The service is friendly and very personable. We are making this are "go to" social tea spot!

As I tried it did not taste right. I went up there and kindly apologized but asked to order again. Once again she was very dismissive. After ordering the same thing my friend got I went back and realized they were two different colors. So I brought back of the drinks up to her and she practically ignored me. The guy there had apologized and truly was a good help. He did mention she was new, so I can understand the mistake. But my overall experience and customer service was disappointing to say the least.

I was kind of surprised to see this place listed separately on Yelp as it is actually the cafe…read moreinside of Lifetime Fitness -- but hey, I'm not going to complain. My husband and I don't really plan on eating here because we just come to use the machines, take a few classes, and sit in the hot tub (which is pretty amazing); however, we decided to give it a shot just to say we've eaten there. Life Cafe's philosophy is to provide clean, healthy food to the people using the facilities. That means no high fructose corn syrup, no artificial ingredients, organic and gluten-free options, and so forth. To my surprise, they actually do a good job of sticking with this philosophy and creating a yummy menu. They also make a variety of smoothies with fruits, juices, yogurt, and milk (almond milk available for $.50 more). Whey protein is added to nearly all smoothies but you can request VeganMax protein instead, which is Lifetime's vegan protein supplement. SWEET. (I hate whey.) My husband ordered the savory roast beef sandwich and I had a wild-caught grilled salmon salad with a smoothie. The food is made fresh behind the counter so there is a slight wait. However, you're able to sit at the table and hang out until they bring the food to you (you're given a number sign when you order). My husband's sandwich seemed kind of small; yet, my salad was huge. They were both REALLY GOOD -- much better than we had expected from a place inside a fitness center. My strawberry/banana/orange juice smoothie was good although I could taste the protein powder with every sip. I got used to it. I wish they had more veggie smoothies. The cafe has a good amount of tables, large windows, and shelves of products for sale. I pretty much ignore the walls of products, but the snack bars are cool. So what's the catch? Why the four stars? The food is EXPENSIVE! Kyle's sandwich and my salad were nearly $9 each. I realize that the quality is amazing (and heck, Lifetime's membership isn't cheap) but I just can't afford to pour more money into this place. I'm still glad we tried it!

I always find this place to be a happy little retreat for lifetime members. I can't put my finger…read moreon why it's always nice visiting. Maybe it's all that serotonin straight from working out, the friendly employees, or the nice natural light that'll flood right into this cafe. I enjoy just sitting here. Smoothies are awesome. I have never had one I did not like! They frequently update their menu so look out for new items arriving every now and then! Totally recommend stopping in!
