Don't buy a gift card from Paesano's pizza in Jacobus! They won't honor the card unless you have the receipt from the last purchased in order to determine the balance?!?!? There was about $70 remaining after we used it once, but since we didn't have proof of a balance, they wouldn't even try running the card! That is stealing money right from your pocket!!! What a let down!! Very disappointed in the way they do business!!! read more

So, first the positive. We ordered a chef salad and it was really good. The Stromboli was really good loaded with meat and cheese. There was an abundance of seeds on the outside. I'm assuming these were sesame seeds which I thought was a little odd. Didn't add or take away from the overall taste, just not sure why they were there. Now the negative. The pizza sauce for dipping was really bad, it tasted like a can of tomato soup. Absolutely no hint of spices like oregano or garlic, just void of any taste other than tomato. For me the sauce is almost as important as the Stromboli itself. So unfortunately we will not be ordering from here again. This was our first and last order. If sauce doesn't matter to you then this is a good place for a great Stromboli! read more

The best pizza in York!! The Sicilian pizza is our go to pizza. Once a week we head there, the pizza feeds all 5 of us and cost under $20. Homemade soups, fresh eggs from their chickens, steak sandwiches, and the tiramisu is to die for. Call in the morning if you plan on getting dinner from their, they run out fast on some items. read more

By and far and I mean real far... THEE best sicilian crust pizza I have ever tasted. Crispy and puffy like pastry dough but filling. And the cheese... it had an amazing flavor... like it didnt taste salty rather like creamy buttery cheese. Tried the Cannolis and one bite was enough to leave the flavor in my mouth for a while. Didn't eat the rest till later with some hot coffee. The new york crust pizza actually tasted like real dough rather than a heavy salty patch of flour. Can't wait to go back and try the other stuff on the menu. Will be worth the drive from howard county. read more

We found this place thanks to yelp and were very pleased with the pleasant owners. They found out we were from out of town and offered all the utensils and fixings needed. When we heard their thick accent I knew we were in for a treat. This was the best pizza I have had by far with the freshest ingredients. The dough is amazing. We also got spaghetti which taste home made. I am only sad that I am leaving town shortly and will have to make a 4 hour trip just to get more. But I will be back. read more

Paesano's has been right down the street from us for the last 6 years, and I am just now discovering their specialties. If you like thick crust pizza order their Sicilian because the regular pizza (I guess it's supposed to be NY style) is just "ok". The Sicilian is really good! I like the cheese and the sauce is simple, which I like. The crust is fresh and fused together with the cheese in spots (yum). If thick crust pizza isn't your thing try the subs.... I was really impressed with a grilled chicken sub I ordered this past weekend. It was healthy, but also the MOST DELICIOUS sub I've ever had. It tasted like the chicken wasn't so much grilled as basted in it's own juices. It was moist and flavorful! All the veggies were fresh and the bread tasted like it had been baked that day.....super fresh!!! I was really impressed! I've ordered several times from here, thinking they had a bad day, or whatever.. I usually order a kids meal for myself, as I don't eat a lot. Their grilled cheese was made with the heal, or crust of the bread, which I'm not fond of.. Their cheeseburger had more lettuce on it than meat.. The roll was too big as well. The fries don't have a good taste either. Save your money, and call someplace else... Disappointing read more

03/22/2016. Stopped here for the first time in a decade. I think someone else had it before. Sub and fries were delicious. Similar to Momma's but without the wait and bull. Kind of small but I always get carry out here. Going to go here more in the future! They take debit cards now! Closed Monday's. Well, I'm still checking them out. I decided to try a cheeseburger sub. Pro: they actually use real hamburger patties. Con: not exactly gourmet hamburger patties. I was spitting out hard little thingies the whole way home. Still better than some places. read more
